From being one of the highest-paid Bollywood actresses to becoming a first-time mom with her musician husband, Priyanka Chopra definitely seems to be living the life! And now that her latest film, "Love Again," is hitting theaters on May 12, 2023, the focus is back on her red carpet ensembles. The beauty hasn't always been successful in the fashion department, however… and while there's no denying she knows how to slay a red carpet, some of Pri's looks are peculiar at best. Join us as we take a look at Priyanka's most befuddling fashion moments…
Priyanka Chopra attempted to unite Eastern and Western style at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre's inaugural gala in Mumbai, India, in April 2023… and it didn't go well. Though we appreciated the bold shades and draping, we weren't wild about the modernized top of her design — a strapless sequined bandeau. This custom Amit Aggarwal look showed a lot of promise but ultimately fell flat, like many of her looks…

Did we want to love this look? Absolutely, but it ultimately fell short. At the Chopard party during the Cannes Film Festival in May 2019, Priyanka Chopra stepped out in this beautiful lilac-hued Fendi Couture dress, which she paired with Chopard diamond earrings and Fendi Haute Couture pumps with a pyramid-like black and clear heel. While we love her choice of colors, we had trouble getting over the odd combo of the frock's scalloped skirt, sheer overlay and overall mermaid vibe.

In September 2019, Priyanka Chopra attended the Couture Council Award Luncheon in a Monse ensemble that consisted of a one-shoulder fringe top and a pleated chiffon skirt. While we appreciate that her Christian Louboutin slingback heels coordinated, the look still proved more shapeless than sartorially savvy.

At the "A Kid Like Jake" premiere during the Sundance Film Festival in January 2018, Priyanka Chopra debuted a bizarre look, opting for a chunky black knit sweater with oddly placed red and yellow fringe and loose threads hanging off it. As if that wasn't enough, she wore a black and charcoal gray skirt underneath with olive green lace at the hem.

So close! Priyanka Chopra attended the Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards in September 2018 in a monochromatic ensemble. The "Quantico" star opted for a bustier top and leather miniskirt, both by Dion Lee, and sleek Monika Chiang pumps. The outfit narrowly missed the mark — we feel it would've been much better without the hooked pieces of fabric hanging from the skirt's hem.

A floral fantasy! Priyanka Chopra pulled out all the stops when she attended the annual Fashion Awards in November 2021 in a custom head-to-toe floral ensemble by Richard Quinn. We definitely commend the mama of one's decision to go bold at the event — but the floor-length coat felt like a tad too much. Rather than accentuate her figure, the big, boldly patterned addition was overwhelming. A for effort, though.

Priyanka Chopra stunned in a custom sheer Dolce & Gabbana gown that featured a plunging neckline, a thigh-high slit and divine jewel embroidery — which she paired with gold Saint Laurent sandals and Bulgari jewels — when she attended the Billboard Music Awards in May 2021. The statement D&G metal corset belt, however, brought in a medieval element that felt incredibly out of place.

In April 2015, Priyanka Chopra was spotted in Mumbai in an ensemble that was lackluster at best — a white top with a peculiar-looking textured heart and blue wide-legged pants.

Priyanka Chopra has shown her love for garments that allow for movement on more than one occasion — which is why her decision to wear this Sally LaPointe matching set to the People's Choice Awards in January 2017 made total sense. The fringe-embellished skirt added a flirty flair to the peach getup, but we could've done without the strapless top's high-low detail.

We love how Priyanka Chopra got into the holiday spirit in New York City in December 2021, but this clashing color combination just didn't work. That evening, Pri stepped out in a green, fuschia and mustard-hued Roberto Cavalli frock paired with a black trench coat, Jimmy Choo pumps and a Fendi purse.

In September 2017, Priyanka Chopra attended the Primetime Emmy Awards in a Balmain gown that was more confusing than complementary. From the overuse of feathers — ahem, that bizarre train — to the large statement embellishments and quilted pattern, the gown was trying to do too much.

Priyanka Chopra embracing fringe? That's to be expected! At the Grammy Awards in January 2020, Mrs. Jonas wore a custom Ralph & Russo gown with dramatic bell sleeves and a plunging, navel-exposing neckline. There's no denying that Priyanka turned heads in this sexy ivory frock — but the addition of the long fringe sleeves distracted from the gorgeous garment itself.

In January 2016, Priyanka Chopra showed up to the BAFTA Tea Party in a black Alex Perry dress. The frock would've been cute, but there was one element that didn't work — the black long-sleeved top that appeared to be attached to the strapless bodice.

In January 2020, Priyanka Chopra was spotted out and about in Los Angeles in a Kukhareva dress that featured a strange sheer mesh skirt with a graphic print.
_
In April 2021, Priyanka Chopra attended the BAFTA Awards in Pertegaz separates — a boldly embroidered cropped open blazer and white wrap trousers — that fell flat on the red carpet. We love how she took a risk here, but it was one that didn't quite seem to pay off. What we did love? Her statement Bulgari necklace.

Priyanka Chopra opted for an asymmetrical satin top and a high-waisted black skirt paired with strappy pumps for the InStyle Awards in October 2016. Though Pri looked gorgeous in turquoise, the skirt was a major miss for us — we could've done without the pinning in the front.

In May 2019, Priyanka Chopra stepped out with hubby Nick Jonas in a David Koma dress and Casadei pumps. In typical Pri fashion, she opted for a garment with a major fringed-fabric moment that, in this case, distracted from her killer figure.
_
Was 2013 the most fashionably inclined year? Not quite, which is why we'll cut Priyanka Chopra some slack for this one! In November of that year, she attended Keep a Child Alive's 10th Annual Black Ball in an ultra-shiny Mikhael Kale dress with a sheer V-neck cutout. She wore Gio Diev sandals that added an unnecessary pop of neon green.

While visiting "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen" in July 2017, Priyanka Chopra donned a patterned Peter Pilotto dress. While we love this rust color on her, the bold and busy pattern was too loud for our liking.

Taylor Swift isn't the only star who had a fascination with coordinating sets back in the day! In September 2015 while visiting "Good Morning America," Priyanka Chopra wore crocheted separates by Self-Portrait. The knit pieces, while gorgeous, just didn't seem to work against the black bandeau and skirt.
_
That thigh-high slit! Priyanka Chopra served up some serious rocker-chic vibes when she wore a stunning waist-cinching leather skirt — with a wrap detail! — to a Booking.com event in March 2018. The only part of the look that fell flat was the tucked-in striped top — we would've loved to see Pri in a more neutral-toned garment.

In February 2015, Priyanka Chopra attended the Republic Records and Big Machine Grammy celebration in a glittery black frock. There were a few aspects of the dress we didn't fully understand — like the oddly placed sheer panel in her midriff area.
_
In February 2015, Priyanka Chopra attended a Vanity Fair and L'Oreal Paris event — and she definitely color coordinated! The "Baywatch" movie beauty went with an all-blue look (and a pop of pink on her lips) that looked more costumey than fashion-forward.
