Oh, the late '00s! It's hard to believe that 2007 was a decade ago, and it's impossible to forget some of the iconic trends of the era. So which celebrity styles from the summer of '07 are the most memorable? Wonderwall.com has rounded them up, starting with this quintessentially 2007 look from Mandy Moore! Jewel tones were huge during that period, so the star's emerald green gown was certainly on-point at the premiere of her flick "License to Wed" that June. And though cutouts were clearly a thing back then too, they were nothing compared to the ones we see on the red carpet today. Now this is 2007! Mischa Barton attended a party in the Hamptons that August in a glittery black shift (note the length — there are a lot more minidresses to come!), but it was her accessory of choice that really symbolized the time period: Headwraps were huge in the late '00s, and this silky fabric version epitomized the most glam option. Just add flats like Mischa and voila! An '07 fashionista!

Four words for you — leggings under a dress. Megan Fox arrived at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards that August in this bizarrely popular phenomenon — a trend that we thank the heavens is now completely over. The star layered a long gray tank dress over a black tank top and a pair of black capri leggings for a look deemed stylish enough for an award show at the time. My, how things have changed!

We can't talk about 2007 summer style without mentioning the Olsen twins. Their legendary boho-chic fashion from the early '00s evolved a bit later in the decade and started featuring more all-black looks, as seen in this typical Mary-Kate Olsen ensemble. The star shopped with twin Ashley Olsen in West Hollywood that July in this all-black, layered and loose look that she accessorized with oversized shades and a fringed bag (a must-have back then).
Here we have a lesson in summer 2007 style from Kim Kardashian West! No. 1: Always throw up a peace sign in pictures (seriously, all the cool girls were doing it). No. 2: Wear your oversized sunglasses (bonus points if they feature that ombre tint) everywhere — indoors, on a red carpet, just keep rocking them no matter where you are. No. 3: Throw some leggings under a tunic dress — the shinier, the better. No. 4: Belt it! The bigger and clunkier the belt, the better — just find one and put it around the waist of your chosen dress or top (no need for it to actually match). No. 5: Add a satchel bag and some wedges and you're good to go! (Yes, Kim really did wear this to a party in Los Angeles that June.)
Minidresses were very summer 2007! Cameron Diaz sported one at the MTV Movie Awards that June, opting for a black polka-dot print with a sweetheart neckline. Messy hair, excessive wrist candy and metallic pumps added some more '07 flair to finish off the look.
Remember that note about dress length earlier? It seemed the shorter the hemline, the better, in 2007. And if it was a bubble hem? The best! Britney Spears exemplified this style at the Grand Opening of LAX in Las Vegas (so apropos for 2007) that August. Back then, all you needed to add for a night out at the club were layers and layers of bracelets, some platform shoes, and, of course, a fedora.
Here's July 2007 Victoria Beckham looking super-blonde and Barbie-like at a press conference for her soccer star husband, David Beckham, in Carson, California. Her bubblegum-pink fitted dress was certainly a perfect hue for that summer, and the way she matched the shade with her Hermes Birkin bag deserves an '07 style medal! Giant circular shades and black stilettos completed this look.
Even huge movie stars weren't immune to '07 trends. Charlize Theron showed up at an HFPA luncheon in Beverly Hills that August rocking a shimmering jewel-toned minidress complete with a bubble hemline and a tie at the waist. Also note those mismatched thick black straps — another gem from the era!
Are they suspenders? Are they overalls? The world may never know, but this odd trend took hold during the summer of 2007 with stars like Lauren Conrad jumping aboard. The reality star wore a pair of denim shorts with matching suspenders to an event in Los Angeles that June. Other very '07 elements of the outfit? That thick black headband, a ubiquitous American Apparel tank top and Tory Burch flats!
More suspenders! Fergie was a major fan of this fad, showing off a pair while stopping by another 2007 staple: MTV's "Total Request Live." The star appeared on the popular show in New York City that June rocking a pair of blue trousers with matching suspenders over a black T-shirt.
Sophia Bush donned this babydoll dress at a Victoria's Secret event that August, embracing some prime 2007 trends. In addition to a super-short bubble hemline, Sophia also rocked an oddly placed bracelet and an extra-long necklace.
A 14-year-old Selena Gomez demonstrated some sweet '07 style at an event in Los Angeles that June. The biggest takeaways? Converse were perfectly red (or blue) carpet-appropriate, unnecessary belts were all the rage (seriously, what is that belt doing?), and mini vests could only elevate an outfit!
Recognize this lady? A dark-haired Hilary Duff attended the MuchMusic Awards that June rocking a See by Chloe patterened and strapless minidress with one of '07's favorite add-ons — pockets! But we have to admit, we'll always be a sucker for a dress with that handy feature!

Keira Knightley was certainly a style icon of the '00s, and this look at the "Atonement" premiere during the Venice Film Festival in August 2007 showed why. Despite including some of the big trends of the era, like the pale pink bow at the waist and the braided updo, the look still holds up today. Timeless!

The best dressed Met Gala attendee has certainly come a long way in the last 10 years!
Who could forget Paris Hilton's '07 stint in jail?! Though we feared we'd go a whole summer without sightings of the socialite, she luckily was released in late June. Her exit ensemble became somewhat iconic, as she opted for an uncharacteristically conservative look — skinny jeans, a T-shirt and a short-sleeved unbuttoned blazer — for her freedom walk.
