While Elon Musk has refrained from saying anything negative about Donald Trump or his administration directly, the billionaire went off in the social media updates about the bill."I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore," Musk wrote. "This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."
In another update, the Tesla founder claimed the legislation "will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America [sic] citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt."
"Congress is making America bankrupt," Musk wrote in an additional post. "In November next year, we fire all politicians who betrayed the American people."

According to insiders, there are four distinct reasons why Elon Musk is now ripping Donald Trump and conservatives over the bill.Sources told the New York Post that the tech mogul isn't happy that House Republicans removed the electric vehicle tax credits that were part of the Inflation Reduction Act enacted under Joe Biden — legislation that benefited Tesla.
Washington, D.C., insiders also claimed Musk was upset that he could not stay in his job at DOGE after 130 days.
The Space X owner also did not like that the Federal Aviation Administration choose not to use his Starlink satellite system to help run the nation's air traffic control.
Finally, Musk is said to be irked that the former star of The Apprentice rescinded his nomination of Musk ally Jared Isaacman to head up NASA.

Donald Trump's White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked about Elon Musk's X rant during a Tuesday, June 3, media briefing: "The president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill," she said, adding that "it doesn't change his opinion."_
Elon Musk hinted at his disapproval of the bill during a Sunday, June 1, interview with CBS Sunday Morning."I was, like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, doesn't decrease it and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing," he said. "I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don't know if it could be both. My personal opinion."
