A recent
ABC News poll revealed that only 39 percent of participants approved of Donald Trump's second presidential term, and about 55 percent stated that they disapproved.
The responses mark the lowest presidential approval rating since Harry Truman's term in 1945.

Journalist Harry Enten discussed the data on CNN.
"These numbers are just horrible," the polling guru said on the Sunday, April 27, episode of Inside Politics. "There's no way to sugarcoat it!"

During his 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump promised to address inflation prices, but now, American voters are fearful that his policies will damage the economy.
According to poll numbers, 72 percent of participants said they believe Trump's policies will cause a recession.
The data revealed that 73 percent of people think the economy is doing poorly, and 53 percent said it declined after Trump's inauguration.

While many of the respondents weren't enthusiastic about Donald Trump's vision for the country, some did think his tariffs could benefit the nation.
The survey data revealed that about 31 percent believe there is a long-term benefit to the tax on foreign goods.

Donald Trump, who is a convicted felon, recently ignored the Supreme Court's ruling that Kilmar Abrego Garcia needed to be returend to the U.S. after he was unjustly deported.
Since the incident, the survey found that 62 percent of people surveyed said Trump doesn't respect the rule of law, and 58 percent said they are scared he will reduce the size of government.
