Firefighters raid TV hosts' home at 2 a.m. after alarms sound: 'It was that kinda night'
Firefighters swarmed Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' home in the wee hours of the morning after fire alarms began ringing.
"Good morning, guys, we're a little tired, we did not get a lot of rest," she said on "Live with Kelly and Mark," on Wednesday, May 10. "Last night we had an incident — I'm not gonna name names, but the fire department came."
Thankfully everything was ok, as there was not a flame in sight.

Kelly told the studio audience that two of their fire alarms began going off at 2 a.m. Mark, Kelly's husband, tried desperately to turn them off but he couldn't "remember the code."
Soon after, the fire department showed up.
"So I'm trying to get it off, and the guys come in, and they're, guys," Mark said. Kelly joked that they were "real men."
The TV couple began showing images of the incident to viewers, including one of Mark and 20-year-old son Joaquin. Mark admitted they were "trying to look brave in front of New York City's bravest."
Eventually, the alarms were turned off.
"[The fire captain] gets up there, turns it, pulls it out, it stops — thankfully it stops — he looks at it, he goes, 'It expired April 2023,'" Mark said.

Still, although the early morning incident lent itself to a story for Mark and Kelly, she felt that the firefighters were disappointed.
"And then you sort of see the disappointment on the faces of everyone," she said. "We feel like we've let them down, because there is no fire, there's not even smoke." After realizing their work was done, the couple said the firefighters "clearly wanted to leave."
"It was that kind of night," Kelly concluded, "it was really that kinda night."

Despite often getting online hate for their parenting choices, Ice-T and Coco Austin continue to raise their daughter differently.
While discussing the close bond he and his wife share with their 7-year-old daughter, Chanel, the rapper detailed their unique sleeping situation at home.

"Chanel still sleeps in the bed with us," he said on the "That Moment With Daymond John" podcast. "So, I'm so much more connected to her than my other kids, but it's been a beautiful thing."
The "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" actor has two adult children from previous relationships.
"I think the difference with Chanel and my other kids is I'm very conscious of this baby," he told the "Shark Tank" star on the podcast. "I had my [first] daughter when I was in high school. I was ripping and running, so it was presents over presence. I wasn't there. My son … happened right when I was becoming Ice-T. You know, I'd never been famous before, this was a whole new thing, so I'm distracted by that [at the time]. Chanel, I'm comfortable. I'm in a cruise pattern."
Chanel, he went on to say, is "the best gift I could ever get."

The sleeping arrangement is likely to stun and disgust many who claim to parent better, but the "Ice Loves Coco" couple is used to being judged by the Twitter-verse.
Last year, Coco, Ice's wife of 21 years, was mom-shamed by many of her Instagram followers after bathing Chanel, then 6, in the kitchen sink. At the time, she explained that a sink bath was "easiest when you have to be fast."
In 2021, the online parent police also took aim at Coco after revealing that she still breastfed Chanel. Many of those same "experts" slammed Coco again in May 2022 after she posted vacation photos of Chanel in a stroller.
Ever the supportive husband, Ice is always quick to defend his wife. Amid the breast-feeding controversy, Ice tweeted, "Why the F are you worried about MY Child??? That's what's weird.. Now go back in the basement." He also joked, "News Flash! I'm still Breastfeeding! Every chance I can…."

Controversial country singer cancels six week of tour dates for 'vocal rest'
Just a few weeks removed from an 11th hour concert cancelation in Mississippi, Morgan Wallen is now pulling the plug on a slew of tour shows under "doctor's orders."
The "Last Night" singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 9, to break the "bad news" and apologize to his fans.
"After taking 10 days of vocal rest I performed three shows last weekend in Florida and by the third one I felt terrible," she said.
Following the trio of shows on the One Night at a Time Tour, Morgan got his voice scoped and found out that he re-injured his vocal chords and has "vocal fold trauma." To correct the issue, Morgan was told to go on six weeks of vocal rest. In fact, the country superstar was told to refrain from speaking as much as possible.
In all, 14 shows — from May 18 to June 17 — are being rescheduled. He's also canceled his performance at this week's Academy of Country Music Awards, where he's up for Entertainer of the Year.
"If I do this the right way then I'll get back to 100%, and [doctors] also said if I don't listen and I keep singing I'll permanently damage my voice," he said. "So for the longevity of my career, this is just the choice I had to make. I hate it, but I love you guys."

Morgan's One Night at a Time Tour has not been without its hiccups. On April 23, the controversial singer canceled his Oxford, Miss., show moments before it was set to start, and after the opening acts had already played.
"Ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately, Morgan has lost his voice and is unable to perform tonight. Therefore, tonight's show has been canceled," a message read on the stadium's screens. "Please make your way safely to the stadium exits. Refunds for tonight's event will be available at point of purchase."

The cancelation resulted in one woman filing a lawsuit for the supposed financial pain caused. Another woman said Morgan owed her $3,982 for her troubles. She expected him to pay her via CashApp (among other things, she claims she's owed $629 for a shopping spree at a place called Rebel Rags).
Adding to the confusion, a viral TikTok video showed a security guard from the venue saying the vocal-rest excuse was "bull crap." The unidentified guard alleged that Morgan was "too drunk" to perform, "couldn't walk" and was taken away from the venue by ambulance. The man's employer and Morgan's record label refuted the security guard's allegations.
After the Mississippi situation, Morgan canceled and rescheduled three more shows, saying he was on "doctor-ordered vocal rest."

Soon after, Jamie agreed to step down from his leading role in Britney's life and a judge eventually terminated the conservatorship, which made her in control of her finances and personal affairs.
With no one standing in the way of her decisions Britney has begun to worry friends and fans. The upcoming special says there is concern "among those closest to her that she's a danger to herself and others."
Britney, the special says, has had a fasciation with knives, and there was even a recommendation at the end of the conservatorship to keep knives away from her.
"She lives in constant fear of being re-institutionalized," Harvey said.
In addition, there are rumors that Britney's 11-month marriage to Sam Asghari is in shambles. The special claims the "Toxic" singer "got physical with Sam" and that her marriage is in "deep trouble."

Only fueling the flames, Britney ditched her wedding ring during a recent vacation in Puerto Rico. Sam did appear on her Instagram on April 27 for the first time in a month and a half.
Her alleged crumbling marriage is just one piece of the troubling puzzle. According to a TMZ report in February, those close to Britney felt an intervention was direly needed because people around her had become deeply alarmed by what TMZ described as "her erratic, volatile behavior." A source told the webloid that the singer was taking medications that "hype her up" — but not taking the medications that stabilize her — and that she'd been "flying off the handle" with increasing regularity. But, the intervention was suddenly scrapped, TMZ reported, after Britney caught wind of it. "I'm afraid she's gonna die," one source in regular contact with Britney told TMZ.

The "Hit Me Baby One More Time" songstress has also exhibited bizarre behavior on social media, too. In a Feb. 21, 2023, video, Brit spoke in a British-Australian accent and warned followers not to "call the cops" if she shuts down her Instagram account before shouting, "Don't ever be a roller coaster!" She then ran out of view.
The new special, though, says there is "hope" for Britney as a performer, suggesting she's "probably still in the top five people."

Since then, Amy's divorce from "Melrose Place" actor Andrew Shue was finalized. She also reportedly moved into a co-op in New York City. T.J., meanwhile, moved to an apartment in the Financial District of the Big Apple after he and his Marilee pulled the plug on their marriage.
T.J. and Amy are now a unit in all aspects, the report says, nothing they are "focused, determined and very much in love and about to make more of a commitment to each other."

Before the country superstar returned to the stage in Florida on Thursday, May 4, he apologized to Mississippi fans for pulling the plug on his April 23 concert moments before it was set to start.

"You know what it was? I used to sign stuff, and then one time I saw somebody and they had their kid come up to me to sign a BB-8 thing and it was three in the morning," the comedian, referring to his voice role as BB-8 in 2015's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." "I was leaving the 'Inside Out' premiere and then we went to an afterparty thing and it was super late and this guy kept his kid up all night.
