Take a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in early June 2023, starting with this pair…
On June 7, Page Six broke the news that Carly Pearce and Riley King recently called it quits after two years of coupledom. "Things didn't work out. … [We] parted ways and I wish her nothing but the best in both her career and personal life," the real estate agent told the New York Post's gossip column, which reported that, according to a source, "trust issues" stemming from Carly's 2020 divorce from Michael Ray contributed to the breakup.
"She has lot of trust issues. She went through that divorce … and parts of that she's still coping with and struggling with," the source said, adding that the implosion of Carly's marriage was "really hard for her" and that the effect her heartbreak had on her music "took a toll" on Riley. (Carly and Michael got engaged in late 2018 following a courtship of just six months, tied the knot in late 2019 and called it quits after just eight months of marriage.)
The Grammy-winning country music singer-songwriter, meanwhile, told People magazine of her alleged trust issues, "That is absolutely not why we broke up." She went on to share of her relationship with Riley, "For the most part, it was great. People date to see if they're gonna go the distance, and we weren't. We just simply were not right for each other, and that's the bottom line. I am on such a beautiful journey, and I am really excited about the next chapter of my life."

Multiple media outlets reported on June 2 that Natalie Portman and her husband of more than a decade, Benjamin Millepied, are working on their marriage after she recently caught him having an affair. "It was short-lived and it is over," said a People magazine source after the French media outlet Voici reported that in early March, the Oscar winner caught the dancer-choreographer cheating with 25-year-old French climate activist Camille Étienne. "He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together," said a second People source. Echoed a Page Six insider, "They have not split and are trying to work things out. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves her and their family." (On June 7, the "Star Wars" actress made it clear that she and her husband are still going strong when she donned her massive engagement ring at the 2023 French Open in Paris.)
There are still some lingering questions about when exactly Ben strayed from the marriage, though: On May 24 — just a few days before he and Natalie were snapped smooching during a dinner date — he was caught on camera visiting the same apartment building in Paris as Camille, throwing into question the timeline of their affair.
Page Six also reported that Natalie and Ben quietly separated sometime last year — and that it was "an open secret" in late 2022 that they were "having problems" while she was shooting the upcoming drama "May December."

Elliot Page claims in his new memoir "Pageboy," which debuted on June 6, that he and "Juno" co-star Olivia Thirlby hooked up "all the time" while shooting the 2007 coming-of-age dramedy. "I had an all-encompassing desire for her, she made me want in a way that was new, hopeful. … [She seemed so] sexually open, far removed from where I was at the time. But the chemistry was palpable, it pulled me in," the Oscar-nominated actor writes, according to Page Six, adding that he was "taken aback" the first time he met the actress, who seemed "so much older, capable, and centered" even though she's just four months older than him. Ultimately, it was Olivia who made the first move, Elliot claims, writing that she told him in her hotel room, "I'm really attracted to you."
Elliot first came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in 2014. He began the process of transitioning in late 2020.

Elliot Page reveals in his new memoir "Pageboy," which debuted on June 6, that he secretly dated Kate Mara back in 2014. At the time, the Emmy-nominated "House of Cards" actress was in the midst of a four-year romance with actor-filmmaker Max Minghella, who supported Kate's desire to explore her relationship with Elliot. The "Juno" alum claims that Kate once told him, "I never thought I could be in love with two people and now I know I can."
Explains Elliot, according to People magazine, "It was a time of exploration and also heartbreak. I think my relationship, or whatever you want to call it with Kate, very much encapsulates a certain dynamic that I consistently found myself in, which was falling for people who — I think a lot of us do this — aren't fully available. And the sort of safety in that and the highs and the lows and the serotonin bump, and then it goes away."
After their romance came to an end, Elliot and Kate played lovers in "My Days of Mercy." They're still close today: "I think the love and care that we have for each other is its very own special thing. Separate from the intimacy that I write about," Elliot says.

Elliot Page reveals in his new memoir "Pageboy," which debuted on June 6, that he had a secret two-year romance with a closeted female co-star: "Ultimately, I do think she loved me. We loved each other and that was very real in our bubble. It was fantastic. You know, it was really beautiful. I admired her and how she inspired me in many ways. But feeling hidden was far too painful. That was impossible and not a sustainable relationship at all. And it taught me that I was not gonna do that again," he says, according to People magazine, adding that some of his "closest friends" didn't know he was in a serious relationship because he and his then-girlfriend pretended to be friends in public and avoided looking at each other at events, though they secretly held hands on set.

It's official! On June 4, Jared Leto was seen checking into a hotel in Berlin with his rumored girlfriend, Beauty Thet Thinn. (See photos here.) The 27-year-old model — who's 24 years younger than the 51-year-old Oscar winner — recently starred in the music video for 30 Seconds to Mars's latest single "Stuck." The rocker split from his last girlfriend, model Valery Kaufman, in the summer of 2022.

According to People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos on June 1, actress Perry Mattfeld — who headlined The CW's "In the Dark" from 2019 to 2022 — and former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez tied the knot in a 16th century colonial monastery in Oaxaca, Mexico, on May 28. The former professional football player, who now works as a game analyst for Fox Sports, fessed up to being very in touch with his emotions on his wedding day: "Emotional is a massive understatement. It all hit me at once like a mack truck and after that, I couldn't turn off the tears! Tears of joy, love and gratitude for getting such an incredible life partner," he gushed. The couple met in 2017 and got engaged in May 2022.

Shakira fueled a new round of questions about the nature of her relationship with Lewis Hamilton when she stepped out with the British race car driver after he placed second in the F1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona on June 3. The duo — who previously spent time together following the 2023 Miami Grand Prix in early May — were photographed sitting next to each other while getting drinks with a group of friends including Kendall Jenner's close friend Fai Khadra. (See a photo — which shows the driver sitting with an arm wrapped around the Grammy winner's waist — here.) It's unclear if Shakira and Lewis are truly anything more than friends.

On June 5, TMZ broke the news that, according to a source, Taylor Swift is "single" again after her whirlwind romance with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy recently came to an end. Multiple media outlets soon shed light on the alleged breakup: "She had fun with him, but it was always casual. They are no longer romantically involved," said a People magazine source. Alleged an "Entertainment Tonight" insider, "They are both extremely busy and realized they're not really compatible with each other. Taylor's friends want what's best for her and aren't shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship [with Joe Alwyn]."
A Page Six source, meanwhile, insisted that Taylor and Matty haven't officially broken up because they were never officially together in the first place: "Everyone who really knows her has been saying all along that this was a fun, good time thing that would last as long as it lasted and would be no big deal once it was done. … She will not be writing albums about this [relationship]. It was a summertime thing," the source said, adding that the chart-topper was simply looking to have some fun following her "stifling" relationship with Joe. "She's allowed to let off some steam and [sow] her oats afterwards without people claiming first that she's 'head over heels' and then that she's 'breaking up' with the guy. It's not a breakup. It's a natural evolution of a fun little thing whose moment is over," the source explained.
Deux Moi also had a slightly different take on the alleged split, reporting that Taylor and Matty are taking a break as their respective tour schedules take them to opposite ends of the globe and that they'll likely reconnect when their work obligations cool down.

Talk about model behavior… Leonardo DiCaprio got tongues wagging when he spent time with model Meghan Roche on a yacht in Ibiza on June 3 and June 4, prompting rumors they're an item. (They both spent the night on the vessel.)
On June 7, however, Page Six reported that, according to a source, the 22-year-old brunette beauty is "definitely not dating" the 48-year-old Oscar winner and is "only in the mix" because she's actually dating Leo's pal Badius: "They have been together for more than a year and are in love," the source said, adding that the singer "travels with Leo and is a close friend."
Meghan, meanwhile, is said to be close friends with Gigi Hadid — another model to whom the A-lister has been linked in the wake of his mid-2022 breakup from his last serious girlfriend, "Daisy Jones & The Six" star Camila Morrone.
On June 6, Gigi and Leo spent several hours dining at the same restaurant in London, though it's unclear if the model joined the actor and his parents — father George DiCaprio and stepmother Peggy Ann Farrar — for their meal. According to Page Six, Gigi met up with model Neelam Gill after dinner. (Neelam, by the way, sparked romance rumors with Leo in late May after she grabbed dinner with him and his mother at a different London hotspot.)

It's over… again! On June 5, TMZ broke the news that David Beador recently filed to divorce wife Lesley Cook for the second time in less than a year. He reportedly listed May 23 as their date of separation and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. David — who was previously married to "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador for 17 years — indicated that he and Lesley signed a prenup before they tied the knot in 2020. He also indicted that he does not want to pay spousal support to his estranged missus and asked for legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old daughter, with visitation rights for Lesley. In the fall of 2022, both David and Lesley made moves to end the marriage, though it appeared as though they'd quickly reconciled.

On June 1, Landon Barker took to his Instagram Story to debut a new tattoo dedicated to his girlfriend of a year, Charli D'Amelio: The 19-year-old model and musician got a hyper-realistic tattoo of one of the TikTok star's eyes just above his elbow.
