Oscar winner trying to 'force out' Russian oligarch who bought half his wine business from former spouse

Talk about sour grapes! 

Brad Pitt is desperately trying to force out business partner Yuri Shefler, a Russian vodka oligarch, from his celebrated French vineyard. The story also adds another layer to Brad's vitriolic split from Angelina Jolie.

Before they were married, Brad and Angelina purchased the Château Miraval estate in France. At the time of the purchase, he owned a 60% stake, and she owned a 40% stake. Shortly after, rosé from Miraval was sought after and highly regarded. As part of his wedding present to Angelina in 2014, Brad gifted her 10% of the estate, making them equal 50/50 partners. Reports claim they had an agreement that he'd get first right of refusal if she ever wanted to sell.

When Brad and Angelina split, the Russian oligarch, who owns Stoli, approached the Oscar winner about buying his shares. Brad refused. He was again approached by the vodka scion in 2021, but Brad again declined. Sources close to Brad now claim Yuri "secretly" approached Angelina to get her half after Brad's refusals. 

"Then in October 2021, they announce they are Brad's new partner to the world in a trade publication," the source told Page Six. "The entire deal is Angie being vindictive. These guys are bottom feeders."

According to Brad, Yuri wants to use his celebrity status to be the face of the company. Brad is now trying to force his ex to unravel her deal, as he feels he has "no option but to attempt to oust" his business partner, a source said. 

Yuri — who the United States government designated as an oligarch in 2018 — has no plans to let go of his Miraval ownership. In court documents, he took a jab at Brad, too. "Pitt is an actor, not a winemaker. He deals in illusions, not dirt and grapes," the argument said, alleging Brad "visited the vineyards to admire the work of the French laborers who actually made the business."

Angelina's attorney argues that she had every right to sell her stake. In California court documents, the actress called the "Moneyball" star a "petulant child" when it came to running the winery, claiming he squandered money on swimming pool renovations and a recording studio at Miraval.

He also launched a "xenophobic, untrue smear campaign worthy of Putin himself" against Yuri, Angelina said of her ex. 

Still, a Brad ally said he won't give in. "Brad stands by the people who he's done business with and he doesn't give into bullies," said the source.

Grammy winner demands 'public apology' from NBA star after physical Vegas fiasco

Britney Spears' long history in Las Vegas added another chapter, but this is one no one saw coming. On July 5, 2023, the pop star was allegedly slapped by a member of NBA player Victor Wembanyama's security team outside Catch restaurant inside the Aria hotel. Pretty much everyone agrees on that. However, the involved parties and eyewitnesses can't agree on much else, including whether or not Britney was knocked to the ground. Although no charges will be filed, this is still the ultimate he said-she said-he said story.

Then came the video: On July 7, TMZ obtained footage of the incident that supports Britney's version of events. Do you agree?

Nearly a week after the incident, Britney Spears heard some pundit saying she "deserved to be smacked" because security was "doing their job and protecting their client." On July 11, she issued a response. "I've been with the most famous people in the world. NSYNC at one time, girls would, like, literally throw themselves at them. On my way into the place, I was knocked down by, like, three 12-year-olds trying to get my picture. My security, not one time, touched them or even came near them," she said in an Instagram video. "Point being is I didn't appreciate people saying I deserved to be hit because no woman ever deserves to be hit. I simply tapped him on the back. I was backhanded… I did get an apology at my table 30 minutes later, but I have yet to receive a public apology."

Asked about the incident while at basketball practice, Victor Wembanyama — the No. 1 overall pick for the San Antonio Spurs in 2023 — said, "Something did happen a little bit when I was walking with some security of the [San Antonio Spurs] to some restaurant. We were in the hall. There were a lot of people calling me, obviously. One person was calling me but … I couldn't stop. That person grabbed me from behind. I didn't see what happened because I was walking straight, but that person grabbed me from behind, not on my shoulder. I just know that security pushed her away. I don't know with how much force though, but security pushed her away. I didn't stop to look. I kept walking and enjoyed a nice dinner."

Did he know that person in question was Britney Spears? "Actually I didn't know for a couple hours," he said. "When I came back to the hotel.. I thought it was no big deal… Turns out it was Britney Spears, but I didn't know because I never saw her face. I just kept walking straight."

In a lengthy Instagram post shared on July 6, Britney Spears wrote, "Traumatic experiences are not new to me and I have had my share fair of them. I was not prepared for what happened to me last night. I recognized an athlete in my hotel lobby as I was heading to dinner. I later went to a restaurant at a different hotel and saw him again. I decided to approach him and congratulate him on his success. It was really loud, so I tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention I am aware of the players statement where he mentions 'I grabbed him from behind' but I simply tapped him on the shoulder. His security then back handed me in the face without looking back, in front of a crowd. Nearly knocking me down and causing my glasses [to] off my face. I get swarmed by people all the time. In fact, that night. I was swarmed by a group of at least 20 fans. My security team didn't hit any of them.

"This story is super embarrassing to share with the world but it's out there already. However, I think it's important to share this story and to urge people in the public eye to set an example and treat all people with respect. Physical violence is happening too much in this world. Often behind closed doors. I stand with all the victims and my heart goes out to all of you!!! I have yet to get a public apology from the player, his security or their organization. I hope they will. I cherish the tremendous support I am receiving at the moment. Thank you to the Las Vegas PD and the detectives for their support.

"I also don't appreciate nor do I think this is a laughing matter. Watching the player smile and laugh was cruel and demoralizing with the situation that took place. I am 5'3 and he's 7'4…"

Britney Spears' husband, Sam Asghari shared this statement on his Instagram Story on July 6: "I am opposed to violence in any form, especially without justification in the defense of yourself or someone else who is unable to defend themselves," he wrote. "Self-defense can be unavoidable, but the defense of any woman, especially my wife, is not debatable. I consider my reaction subdued considering what occurred, and I hope the man in question learns a lesson and changes his disregard for women."

In a followup post, Sam, who was present when the incident occurred, wrote, "The violent behavior of an out-of-control security guard should not cast a shadow on the accomplishment of a great young man on the rise @wemby. The blame should fall on the coward who did this, the people who hired him without proper vetting, and a systematic culture of disregard for women within sports and entertainment. I can't imagine a scenario where an unarmed female fan showing any kind of excitement or appreciation for a celebrity would cause her to be physically assaulted, much less being hit in the face for tapping someone on the shoulder. The changes needed will have to come from the top, and I look forward to those changes."

Police made no arrests and issued no citations but told USA Today, "At approximately 11 p.m., LVMPD officers responded to a property in the 3700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard regarding a battery investigation." The statement didn't mention Britney Spears' name. On July 7, police said "no charges will be filed."

Witness Brian Grajales described the incident in detail to TMZ: "Wemby was walking into ARIA heading to Catch when there was a fan who afterward we found out was Britney Spears was approaching him with a British accent saying, 'Excuse me, sir, excuse me, sir!' She just kept trying to go towards him when eventually he was heading with his entourage into the restaurant, into Catch, that's when Britney infiltrated her way into the circle and that's when one of his bodyguards gave her a backhand slap across the face.

"She was approaching him, like I said, [in] a British accent saying, 'Excuse me, sir, excuse me, sir!' and I guess trying to get his attention for possibly a picture but when they walked right into the Catch restaurant, that's when she leaned in and got her way into this circle and started to put her hand on his back shoulder or his back — he's pretty tall, so towards his back — and that's when the bodyguard just turned around, slapped her face, and knocked off her sunglasses… You saw the hand, but you also heard the slap.

"At that point there was a lot of commotion with people in the way but I don't recall seeing her falling to the ground, but just sort of go the side and hunch over.

"Victor just walked right in and kept going. A couple people stayed behind to check on her. I'm telling you, they didn't know it was Britney, but just to restrain this person from getting any closer. That's when afterwards they tried to sort of walk her out of the restaurant. She screamed while using a British accent, that's what she was using the whole time, 'This is f****** America.'"

'90s actress reportedly living in budget motel after husband announced split

As her split with estranged husband, Dean McDermott, plays out, Tori Spelling has been staying in a run-down $100-a-night motel in the Los Angeles area, according to a new report. 

Page Six published images of the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum leaving a roadside lodge over the weekend with children Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 6. Tori donned a crop top and low-rise sweatpants.

Tori's 2023 has been no picnic. Earlier this year she was forced to move out of her rental home due to "extreme" mold. Then, on June 17, Dean announced on Instagram that the couple split after 18 years of marriage. He deleted the post a few hours later. 

"It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own," he wrote. But, shortly after, a source told Us Weekly that Dean and Tori weren't getting a divorce. 

A source said, "Friends suspect that Dean posted that because he and Tori may have gotten into a big blowout fight last night. He obviously regretted it, so he deleted the post."

Fast forward to June 21 when a source told People magazine that Dean is completely committed to splitting. 

"[Dean] 100% wants to get out of the marriage. He took down the post because Tori didn't want him to keep it up. But he's packing his bags and is 100% serious about it," the source said. At the time, Dean were still living with Tori together, but Dean was looking for an apartment he could afford. "He can't take it anymore. He told her he's done," the source added.

Adding to the confusion, a source close to Tori told People that the split seemed "out of the blue."

"Their friends have seen their ups and downs through the years, but they really did seem to be in a good place," the insider said. "This feels really out of the blue. If this had happened a year ago, it would've been expected because things were terrible between them. Sure, they still had their disagreements and didn't always see eye to eye, but the past six months things had felt good between them."

In the years since he split from third wife Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise has done his best to keep his love life out of the spotlight. But sometimes, he can't avoid headlines. Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at all the women the iconic action star — whose newest movie, "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," opens in theaters on July 12, 2023 — has loved and lost over the years… 

In 2016, Tom's first girlfriend, a woman named Diane Cox, opened up to DailyMail.com about her two-year romance with the A-list actor. The duo met at their high school prom in 1979 when he was 18 and she was 17 — and a grade below him. They ended up ditching their dates for each other and dating for more than two years. The high school sweethearts ultimately split when Diane cheated while they were struggling to make a long-distance relationship work after Tom left his native New Jersey for Hollywood. "We didn't talk about marriage but he told me I was the love of his life, the only person he wanted," Diane said years later.

Tom Cruise's first famous girlfriend? That would be "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert! They briefly dated in the early '80s. "It was when he first moved to Los Angeles and I think I was 16, maybe, or 17. … He was a struggling starving actor and I was working. I actually bought him his first set of dishes," she said during a 2014 appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," adding that Tom was a good kisser but that things between them never went much further than that.

Actor Curtis Armstrong — who had a small role in "Risky Business" — claimed in his 2017 memoir that Tom Cruise had an "intense affair" with the film's leading lady, Rebecca De Mornay, when they shot the 1983 comedy. At the time, she was involved with a different actor: the late Harry Dean Stanton, who was 36 years Tom's senior. Tom and Rebecca were seen together several times in 1985, though it's unclear how long their "intense affair" actually lasted.

One and done! During a 2013 appearance on Chelsea Handler's "Chelsea Lately" show, Heather Locklear said she only went out with Tom Cruise once — even though they were photographed together multiple times in the early '80s. They went to a nightclub together after meeting at an audition, she said, but her interest in him cooled when he started dancing: "You know in 'Risky Business' where he does that dance in his underwear and does the split? We were dancing in a club and he went into that," she recalled. "You just kind of stand there and don't know what to do. Do you dance around him? It was weird. So I just sat down." And that was that.

Tom Cruise and Cher first met at Madonna and Sean Penn's 1985 nuptials. They reconnected at the White House a few months later during an event focused on people with dyslexia. "We didn't go out till way later, but there definitely was a connection there," the singer recalled in 2018. Five years earlier, she gushed that Tom, who's 16 years her junior, was "in the top five" of her all-time greatest lovers. "It was pretty hot and heavy for a little minute," she said. In the mid-'80s, Tom Cruise met actress Mimi Rogers, who's seven years his senior, through mutual friends at a dinner party. They tied the knot in 1987 when she was 31 and he was just 24. (Emilio Estevez served as Tom's best man during the super-secret nuptials.) The actor once told Rolling Stone of his first missus, "I care about my wife more than anything in the world. She's my best friend. I just really like being with her, you know? I love her." But it wasn't meant to be: Tom reportedly filed to divorce Mimi in late 1989. "While there have been positive aspects to our marriage, there were some issues which could not be resolved even after working on them for a period of time," they said in a joint statement in early 1990. (It's widely believed, by the way, that Mimi introduced Tom to Scientology.)

In the wake of his split from Mimi Rogers, Tom Cruise fell hard for Nicole Kidman. They first connected on the 1989 set of the racing drama "Days of Thunder" and tied the knot on Christmas Eve in 1990 following a whirlwind courtship of about a year. A few years later, Tom told Vanity Fair that he felt "instant lust" for the Australian actress. "I thought she was amazingly sexy and stunning. It grew into love and respect," he said.

Newlyweds Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman shared the screen for the second time in Ron Howard's 1992 Western drama "Far and Away," which performed well at the box office in spite of poor reviews from critics.

In 1993, Tom Cruise and second wife Nicole Kidman adopted daughter Isabella Jane, who was 2 months old at the time. Two years later, they became a family of four when the "Days of Thunder" co-stars adopted a 2-week-old baby boy: their son Connor.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman shared the screen for the third and final time in 1999's "Eyes Wide Shut." More than two decades later, the Australian actress would tell The New York Times that she and Tom were still "happily married" while shooting the Stanley Kubrick-directed erotic thriller. In 2004 and 2005, Tom Cruise briefly dated Nazanin Boniadi, who later had stints on "General Hospital," "How I Met Your Mother," "Scandal" and "Homeland." According to persistent rumors, the Church of Scientology set up Tom and the Iranian British actress after "auditioning" several young beauties for the part of his real-life love interest. Former Scientologist Leah Remini, who's been extremely critical of the church over the years, claimed in her 2015 memoir that Nazanin "underwent a confidential mission for the church where she thought she was being prepared for a special humanitarian project but ended up with the role of Tom's girlfriend." The "King of Queens" alum also alleged that the church pushed Nazanin to break up with her then-boyfriend for Tom and gave her an expensive makeover to prepare her for her romance with the A-lister. Ultimately, the relationship lasted just three months. (But Tom and the Church of Scientology have denied the allegations about how his relationship with Naz came to be.)

In 2005, Tom Cruise briefly pursued a pre-fame Sofia Vergara. But things between them never took off reportedly because of their differences regarding religion.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes tied the knot at the Odescalchi Castle in Lake Bracciano, Italy, on Nov. 18, 2006. Less than six years later on June 29, 2012, she quietly filed for divorce amid whispers that their differences over Scientology were to blame.

In the summer of 2012, several dubious tabloid reports attempted to link Tom Cruise to fellow devout Scientologist Yolanda Pecoraro, who reportedly met the A-list actor for the first time in 2004. According to the rumor mill, he was interested in her at the time, though nothing ever came of the attraction. Nothing ever came of the talk in 2012 either! Despite the rumors that the Church of Scientology wanted to set up Tom with Yolanda in the wake of his split from Katie Holmes, they were never seen together in public. She ultimately married a different famous Scientologist: "Malcolm in the Middle" actor Chris Masterson. (They're pictured together in 2015.)

In late 2012, Tom Cruise got tongues wagging when he was seen spending time with Jennifer Akerman — the younger sister of his "Rock of Ages" co-star Malin Akerman — at a nightclub in Stockholm following the Swedish premiere of "Jack Reacher." But the actor's rep called the romance rumors "completely ridiculous" and insisted to E! News that the blonde beauty had a serious boyfriend at the time. Just a few weeks later, Tom shut down another set of false romance rumors when he was linked to Cynthia Jorge — then-manager of New York City's Beauty & Essex — after they were seen dancing together at a different NYC hotspot. A source told People magazine "it was nothing but a casual night out" while a New York Post source insisted the pair were "just friends."

The rumor mill worked overtime to connect Tom Cruise to former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko after they co-starred in the 2013 sci-fi love story "Oblivion" … even though she was dating Danny Huston at the time. There's no evidence they were ever anything other than colleagues.

Tom Cruise sparked romance rumors with fellow Scientologist Laura Prepon when they were seen dining together in Los Angeles in late 2013. Then in April 2014, Page Six reported that the duo had been "secretly dating" for months. But reps for both the action star and the "That '70s Show" alum insisted the rumors were "not true" and that the pair were just friends. (Laura eventually married a different actor: Ben Foster. She's since walked away from the church.)

In May 2017, the rumor mill erupted with buzz that Tom Cruise was dating "Mission: Impossible – Fallout" co-star Vanessa Kirby after they were photographed sharing an on-set smooch. (Previous tabloid reports alleged he'd fallen for her … and that he thought she was "perfect to be his next wife.") The following year, Vanessa called the rumors "disconcerting" — especially because she was in the midst of a long-term relationship with actor Callum Turner at the time.

In late 2020, The Sun reported that Tom Cruise and "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" co-star Hayley Atwell were secretly dating after growing close on set. The following day, a People magazine source threw cold water on the British tabloid's report, insisting that the romance rumors were "not true at all." Yet the rumors persisted, although there was a spattering of reports in the summer of 2021 claiming the action star and the British beauty had gone their separate ways.

The co-stars were all smiles while attending Wimbledon together in 2021. Though fresh reports claimed they rekindled their romance in early 2022, The Sun published a story in June 2022 citing sources who said it was over again. "They get on really well, and have fantastic chemistry, which is why they decided to quietly give the relationship another try earlier this year. But what was working behind closed doors didn't work out so well when it was made public, and the fanfare around them as a couple exploded again," a source told the British tabloid. "They have now decided they are better as friends."

In July 2023, Hayley shot down the reports herself, telling the Independent the "weird [romance] rumors" felt "dirty" and "grubby" and that she views Tom and "M:I" franchise director Chris McQuarrie as "sort of two uncles," not love interests.

In May 2023, Tom Cruise once again got the rumor mill churning… this time with speculation that he'd fallen for a global pop star after he was seen chatting with Shakira at the 2023 Miami Formula One Grand Prix in Florida that month. Though they certainly looked comfortable together, TMZ reported that Shakira and Tom were not romantically involved and were at the F1 race because they'd both been invited by a mutual friend, driver Lewis Hamilton.

Health crisis

Madonna was found unresponsive over the weekend of JUne 24 and subsequently rushed to a New York City hospital. According to Page Six, she was reportedly intubated "for at least one night before having the tube removed." Even after the pop star was alert, responding and no longer in the ICU, her massive 84-date global tour was postponed. In a June 28 Instagram statement, Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed the hospitalization. "On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU," he said in an Instagram post. "Her health is improving however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected." Her impacted tour dates will be rescheduled.

According to reports, she was "strenuously rehearsing" for the tour in the weeks leading to the medical emergency. TMZ said she battled a low-grade fever for a month and "mostly ignored her symptoms and never got checked out by a doctor because she was laser focused on rehearsing for her upcoming tour."

On July 9, Madonna was seen walking in her Upper East Side neighborhood with a friend, though as Page Six reported, she appeared to lean heavily against a lamppost as she waited to cross the street. Though she had no trouble walking, Page Six added, she did seem to be taking her time. A TikTok user posted video confirming the Material Girl is on the mend.

Tragic conclusion

Julian Sands — a British actor known for roles in "Leaving Las Vegas," "Dexter," and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" — went missing in January after going on a hike. The case had a sad, but expected conclusion this week. Human remains found in the mountainous area where the actor was last seen were confirmed to be his. Julian went hiking in the Mt. Baldy area of Southern California during a snow storm on Jan. 13, but he never returned to his car and didn't return from the hike. Severe weather had hampered the search efforts at the time of his disappearance in January — his snow-covered car was found in California's San Gabriel Mountains a few days after his last contact. According to Entertainment Tonight, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department reported that the remains were found by hikers at Mt. Baldy.

Pals with a murderer

Hot take! Rosie O'Donnell is arguing for infamous imprisoned murderers Lyle and Erik Menéndez to be released from prison immediately. The men were convicted of murdering their parents, José and Mary Louise Menéndez, in 1989. They never denied the slaying, but argued they did so out of self defense following years of sexual abuse, largely at the hands of their father. In a TikTok video, Rosie said she's been in contact with Lyle for a while, and the two have grown "very close." The former daytime talk show host said the men have more than served their time. After watching the "Menéndez & Menudo: Boys Betrayed" documentary, in which former boy bander Roy Rosselló claims Jose molested him, Rosie connected with Lyle. "So, we believe them now because of Roy from Menudo? Do we believe now because of the letter Erik sent his cousin eight months before the murder?" she asked. "It's time. I believe them." She added, "They were horribly abused by their parents, they did the unthinkable, which had been done to them day after day after day, and they paid the price for that. Free the Menéndez brothers."

Wheeling and dealing part 1

The "Wheel of Fortune" puzzle has been solved: Ryan Seacrest will be the next host of the game show, beating out Vanna White and Maggie Sajak. The "American Idol" figurehead will take over for longtime host Pat Sajack on September 2024. "I'm truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak. I can say, along with the rest of America, that it's been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them," Ryan said in a statement on June 27. "Pat, I love the way you've always celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease. I look forward to learning everything I can from you during this transition." He added, "Many people probably don't know this but one of my first jobs was hosting a little game show called Click for Merv Griffin 25 years ago so this is truly a full circle moment for me and I'm grateful to Sony for the opportunity. I can't wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White."

Wheeling and dealing part 2

Vanna White is drawing a line in the sand and has asked for a huge pay increase. TMZ reports that she wants half of what Pat makes, which is believed to be about $15 million a year. Vanna is arguing that she and Pat are introduced as equals on the show and she wants to be paid as such. Stunningly, TMZ said the hostess has a salary of about $3 million a year, and it's remained that way for 18 years. She's never received a pay increase in nearly two decades. "After 41 years as a model employee and more the face of that show than him [Pat], asking for 50% of what he makes seems like a no-brainer," a source said. "Wheel" producers may not see it that way, as negotiations are said to be "very difficult." Vanna doesn't want to leave the show, but she will consider it if she doesn't get what she believes is "a minimum of what is fair." In asking to right the pay discrepancy, a source said Vanna "feels like it's a statement for all women." Vanna has put "Wheel" showrunners in a bad spot, as they want some continuity after Ryan Seacrest takes over for Pat Sajak.

Rehab stint

Pete Davison has checked into rehab for borderline personality disorder and PTSD — a move that comes just a few weeks after leaving a vitriolic message for a PETA executive and being charged in a Los Angeles car crash. "Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it," a source told Page Six on June 28. "He has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him, and are proud of him." The source insisted that the "Saturday Night Live" funnyman is "taking a well deserved break so he can focus on himself and learn to better deal with his PTSD issues." The comedian is reportedly being treated at the same Pennsylvania facility  where pal John Mulaney for addiction issues. "Pete regularly goes to rehab for 'tune ups' and to take a mental break, so that's what's happening," a close pal said. Pete's girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, is said to be standing by him as he works on his issues.

What's in the bag?

Ashes, ashes, we all fall down. At London's Hyde Park on June 25, Pink stopped singing mid-show when a concertgoer threw a baggie full of light-colored powder onstage. It was apparently the cremated remains of the person's mother. Video footage on social media shows Pink crouching down on the floor by the baggie. Looking bewildered, she picked it up, barely holding one corner, and asked the person in the crowd, "Is this your mom?" It's unclear from the footage why the singer was clued in about the specific contents of the bag, but she seemed to be told that it was, indeed, the person's mom's ashes. Walking slowly toward the edge of the stage, Pink then bent down again and put the baggie behind a speaker. "I don't know how I feel about this," she said into the mic before catching back up to the song's lyrics –and moving toward the other side of the stage.

Growing family

Chrissy Teigen stunned her Instagram followers on June 28, after revealing that she and her husband, John Legend, welcomed a fourth child via a surrogate. The baby boy, named Wren Alexander Stephens, was born just five months after the couple welcomed daughter Esti. "For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted four children," the model said in a lengthy Instagram post, revealing she and John pursued surrogacy as an option in 2021. They eventually found their "perfect match" in a woman named Alexandra, who Chrissy called the "most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine." The boy's middle name is a sweet nod to Alexandra. Wren was secretly born just before midnight on June 19. 

Ring thing

Former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger and her rugby-player beau Thom Evans shared their engagement news on Instagram on June 27. "I said yes," she captioned a series of photos from the beach-side proposal. The couple — who have been together for three years — met on the set of "The X Factor: Celebrity" in 2019 where she served as a judge and he competed.

Adam Rich — the former child star who's best known as Nicholas Bradford, the youngest son on the '70s and '80s ABC show "Eight Is Enough" — passed away at his home at 54 on Jan. 7. More than five months later, on June 25, the Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner Coroner's office confirmed that an autopsy determined the actor died from the effects of fentanyl and that his death was accidental.

Music star's famous mother robbed of more than $1 million at home, more stars who've been burglarized

Welcome to Hollywood, which seems to be ground zero for thieves these days as singers, actors and reality TV stars have all fallen victim to robbers in recent years. Join us as we take a look at some of the stars who've been burglarized…

Police are on the hunt for thieves who broke into the Los Angeles-area estate of Tina Knowles — the fashion designer mother of Beyonce and Solange — and made off with more than $1 million in money and valuables. TMZ reported on July 9, 2023, that four days earlier, someone from Tina's camp stopped by her home while Tina was out of town and discovered that an entire safe containing cash and jewelry was missing. TMZ further reported that it's unclear how the thieves got inside and removed the safe but that police are reviewing video footage and have launched an investigation as they hunt for answers.

JoJo Siwa was victim of a "terrifying" early morning break-in at her Los Angeles home on May 15, 2023, and the crooks are still on the loose. The former "Dance Moms" star told her social media followers that the burglary occurred around 2:40 a.m. but that no one was home at the time and her dogs were not hurt, TMZ reported. Police believe two suspects entered the house via an open door. While sharing security footage on social media, JoJo said the masked thieves were armed when they entered, but police have not confirmed that weapons were involved. It's not known what the suspects took from the YouTube star's mansion. Security footage of the burglary "makes me sick to watch," JoJo said.

Drake's Los Angeles was mansion was broken into on Jan. 26, 2023, and the culprit escaped unscathed… until he was found hours later and arrested. TMZ said the rapper's security alerted police to the residence after a man was seen leaving with some of Drake's property in his arms. The crook initially eluded cops, but he was spotted in the area a few hours later still carrying Drake's property. Drake was not home at the time of the burglary. Drake has dealt with break-ins before. A man was arrested at the same residence for misdemeanor trespassing in July 2022. In that incident, the 23-year-old suspect claimed Drake was his father.

Zoey Deutch fell victim to a burglary in a big way in October 2022. TMZ reported that while the actress was away from her Los Angeles home for just a few hours, seemingly running errands, thieves were robbing her house: Sources told the webloid the "Set It Up" actress — who's the daughter of "Back to the Future" star Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch — returned to find her door smashed in, her residence in disarray and $300,000 in cash and jewelry missing.

Arsenio Hall was the target of two break-ins in 2022 — and making things even scarier, he was home when the criminals tried to get in! On Sept. 20, TMZ reported that days earlier, according to LAPD sources, the "Coming to America" star and former talk show host went downstairs to investigate after hearing a loud noise and found that someone had broken the glass on a sliding door in an attempt to gain entry but quickly left. A month earlier, two people broke a window then entered the home but got spooked and left when they realized he was there. According to TMZ, cops are looking at surveillance video from Arsenio's house and his neighborhood to try to ID the suspects and figure out if he's being targeted.

On July 27, 2022, Mariah Carey was vacationing in Italy and the Hamptons when her $5.65 million Atlanta mansion was burglarized. Nearly a month later, three men were arrested in Miami and charged with the crime. TMZ reported that the suspects are responsible for a string of armed robberies, home invasions and burglaries in the Atlanta area (one victim was even shot during an incident). After the arrest, a source told TMZ that Mariah was "so grateful for the detectives who arrived on the scene immediately." But this wasn't the first time Mariah has been victimized…

Take two. In October 2019, thieves broke into Mariah Carey's Los Angeles mansion and made off with $50,000 in goods including pricey purses and sunglasses. The home was reportedly hit at around 3 a.m. while the singer was out of town. TMZ reported that the crooks likely got in through a window or door on an upper floor as a ladder was found in the backyard. Mariah did have a security system and the silent alarm was tripped, but her security team didn't discover the break-in for about four hours.

In October 2021, the Los Angeles mansion of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Dorit Kemsley was broken into… while she was home alone with her two children! She was held at gunpoint while her kids were asleep close by. "I begged them, I begged for my life, and begged for their life," she told "Extra" of her interactions with the robbers. "I don't care about any of it, take it all. You can have it all. Please, I'm a mother of babies. Please, they need me. Please don't hurt me." Thankfully, Doris and her children were not harmed during the home invasion. The robbers, however, took off with more than $1 million in valuables.

Bella Thorne was the victim of a home robbery over Labor Day Weekend in 2018, TMZ reported. Burglars reportedly stole more than $150,000 worth of items including jewelry and vintage clothing, which they transported in her designer luggage. Surveillance footage was used to identify the thieves.

It was a tough (jagged little) pill to swallow for Alanis Morissette: In February 2017, her Los Angeles-area home was broken into — and the crooks got away with a whopping $2 million in jewelry. The singer, who'd posted images of her jewelry on social media before the burglary, was not home at the time of the heist.

Thieves broke into Hilary Duff's Beverly Hills home in July 2017 while the "Younger" star was out of town on vacation with her 5-year-old son, Luca Comrie, in Canada. "Someone broke through a door, rooted around and discovered Hilary's stash. The alarm never went off," TMZ reported, adding that its sources said the thief got away with jewelry worth "hundreds of thousands of dollars." Hilary had been posting photos and videos from her trip on social media, which TMZ speculates could have made her home an easy target for criminals.

Which "Pretty Little Liars" star was the victim of an at-home robbery? Lucy Hale! In January 2018, her home was burglarized and $15,000 worth of purses and jewelry was stolen. "Thanks for all the kind words about my house," she tweeted after news of the robbery broke. "Luckily no one was hurt… Sad to lose some sentimental items, but thankful to be safe."

In October 2016, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint and robbed of $10 million worth of jewelry — including her $4 million engagement ring from then-husband Kanye West — at the No Name Hotel in Paris during Fashion Week. That evening, Kim, who'd decided to stay in, was alone in her hotel room while the family's bodyguard left to watch over sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner when they went out. Before stealing Kim's jewelry — which also included two diamond Cartier bracelets, a diamond and gold Jacob necklace, a gold Rolex watch and diamond Lorraine Schwartz earrings — the burglars tied her hands and feet and put tape over her mouth and legs. French police had arrested 17 people in connection with the harrowing robbery by January 2017.

Kim Kardashian isn't the only member of her family who's been targeted by thieves. In October 2009, Kourtney Kardashian's Calabasas townhome was ransacked with burglars making off with a $30,000 Cartier watch, a Rolex and diamond jewelry that all totaled approximately $108,000. Little sis Kendall Jenner was also a burglary victim…

Kendall Jenner was robbed of about $200,000 in March 2017. The model had been at her Los Angeles home most of the day but when she stepped out, the thieves struck. When she returned and went to her bedroom, she realized that her jewelry box had been stolen. There was reportedly no sign of forced entry — initial lw enforcement speculation pointed to an inside job.

Kate Moss is also a burglary victim. In May 2010, the British supermodel's London home was ransacked by thieves who took $115,000 worth of art including a portrait of Kate by street artist Banksy.

We're all familiar with the infamous "Bling Ring" that wreaked havoc on celebrity homes, right? From 2008 to 2009, a group of five teens and one 27-year-old ransacked the multimillion dollar homes of several stars… including heiress and DJ Paris Hilton. Paris reportedly left a key under a mat and left her door unlocked, which allowed the group access to her house. They ended up visiting five times and stole more than $2 million in clothing, jewelry and money.

Another "Bling Ring" victim? Lindsay Lohan, whose Hollywood Hills home was targeted by the group in August 2009. They reportedly made away with $130,000 in jewelry and clothing.

In February 2017, Nicki Minaj's Los Angeles mansion was burglarized — thieves got away with about $200,000 worth of jewelry and other valuables. It's unclear if they were inspired by Nicki's Instagram posts showing off her rings, bracelets and necklaces, but this particular robbery got personal. "The suspect or suspects knocked over and flipped furniture and items all over the house … almost as if they were frantically looking for something," TMZ reported at the time. "They vandalized certain items in the house … destroyed picture frames, perfume bottles, furniture … and even cut up Nicki's clothing."

Rachel Bilson's home was burglarized in October 2017. The actress had reportedly left her place around 10 a.m. only to return four hours later to find it ransacked. It was believed that thieves got away with about $50,000 in expensive shoes and designer handbags. Of course, this wasn't the only time the star of "The O.C." was robbed: Back in May 2009, the notorious "Bling Ring" broke into her home five times.

Jason Derulo was out of town when a maid discovered something was amiss in his Los Angeles residence in September 2017. TMZ reported that "multiple people forced their way into Derulo's home, possibly breaking a door and window." Burglars discovered and stole $300,000 in cash and jewelry. Police believe it could have been an inside job since only one specific room was targeted.

David Spade joined the non-exclusive burglary victim club in June 2017 when crooks busted into his house and took off with a safe that contained about $80,000 in cash and jewelry, including a wedding band that belonged to the comedian's mom.

Michael B. Jordan was on the losing end of a burglary in May 2017 after someone smashed a window in his Los Angeles home and took off with cash and jewelry. The actor wasn't there at the time. Unlike some other celebrity burglaries, it's suspected that this one was a random job and Michael wasn't targeted.

In October 2012, Julianne Moore's New York City home was broken into. Thieves stole 10 pieces of jewelry worth approximately $127,000, the New York Post reported, including a $33,000 Cartier platinum and diamond tennis bracelet and four Cartier watches worth $77,800.

"Shameless" star Emmy Rossum had a terrible March 2017: The actress's Los Angeles home was burglarized while she was out of town. Crooks zeroed in on two safes in her home. Unfortunately for Emmy, she left the safe codes out in plain view, so the burglars didn't even have to struggle to get the goods inside. TMZ reported that $150,000 in antique jewelry was missing. A housekeeper was the first to notice a crime had taken place.

Count Jaime Pressly as a victim of a burglary. Jamie told authorities someone broke into her Los Angeles home in March 2017. She was in town but out to dinner when the break-in occurred. The thieves got in by smashing a window and took a safe that contained about $30,000 in jewelry, TMZ reported. Also in the safe: a .38 caliber revolver.

In May 2017, Scott Disick was away at a highly publicized birthday party in Las Vegas when someone violated his Los Angeles home. Media outlets suspected the robbery was an inside job because the crook knew he would be out of state and seemed to know where the security cameras were located, so they were able to get in and out undetected.

Patti Stanger was the victim of a major burglary while staying at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard hotel in May 2017. TMZ reported that thieves stole more than $300,000 in clothes, jewelry and purses from the "Millionaire Matchmaker" star after breaking the lock and entering her hotel room.

A$AP Rocky's burglary was a scary one. According to multiple media accounts, in May 2017, a woman — supposedly his sister — was approached by three armed men outside the rapper's home in Los Angeles's Beverly Grove area and was forced to let the criminals inside. They tried to get her to open a safe but after she wasn't able to, they left with it. They later abandoned it on a nearby sidewalk when they couldn't get it into their getaway car. Despite that setback, the crooks still got away with $1.5 million in loot.

Romance novel cover model Fabio fell victim to a burglary in March 2017. Crooks got away with $200,000 in valuables. He told KCBS that his 200-pound safe was stolen. It was filled with his $127,000 gold coin collection and an $80,000 watch collection. The safe was later recovered but had been emptied out. He blamed California Governor Jerry Brown for the burglary as the governor had championed the passing of Prop 57, which made thousands of non-violent-crime felons eligible for parole.

"Dog Whisperer" star Cesar Millan got bit by the burglary bug in January 2017. Thieves entered his home in Los Angeles's Studio City neighborhood through an unlocked bathroom window and made off with hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of jewelry, reports revealed. Surveillance cameras caught the crooks in the act.

"Basketball Wives: LA" star Laura Govan came home from a vacation in May 2017 to find her home rummaged through and ransacked. TMZ reported that the kitchen window "was smashed" and that "items were thrown all over the house." Crooks got away with a pretty massive haul: Nearly $100,000 in cash and $615,000 in jewelry including a Rolex watch worth $50,000. She had a security system but it unfortunately wasn't turned on.

Singer reveals he spent 100 days in rehab, is now now six months sober and grateful to have 'a grip' on his life

Liam Payne is opening up about his social media disappearance, revealing that he was in rehab for more than three months. 

"Sorry for [being] MIA. You guys know there's a few reasons why I did that and I just needed to take a little bit of time out for myself," he said in a new YouTube video titled "I'm Back."

"I kind of became somebody who I didn't recognize and I'm sure you didn't either."

The One Directioner said he needed to "get well," so he checked into a rehab center in Louisiana. 

"I was in bad shape up to that point. I was really happy more than anything when I arrived to kind of put a stopper on life and work. I didn't have my phone for nearly 100 days," he stated. "I didn't connect to the outside world at all and it was kind of prepping me for that moment. Upon leaving was actually the hardest point was turning the phone back on … because it was a little bit scary."

Now out of rehab, the singer said he's discovering this new version of himself. 

In the lengthy video, Liam thanked his son, Bear, and his ex Cheryl Cole for "giving me a little bit of freedom to go and get well in that moment, because I had to."

"There's no point in trying to be a dad when you've got nothing to teach," he continued. "I don't think up until this point I had much to say to him other than just loving him very deeply."

With the lengthy rehab stay behind him, Liam has "more of a grip" on his life. He's also six months sober.

"After I got back out, the process had worked for me to a certain extent, but also there were little bits left that I kind of had to deal with myself," he said. 

The singer was also sure to thank his former One Direction bandmates – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik – who "really stood by [him] when [he] really needed them most."

"They kind of came to the rescue," Liam said.

Tatum O'Neal is lucky to be alive — and working hard to stay sober — after a drug overdose nearly killed her in 2020. "I almost died," Tatum, 59, reveals in a new interview published by People on Wednesday, July 5. According to the Oscar winner and her son, Kevin McEnroe, Tatum had been prescribed medications for neck pain, back pain and rheumatoid arthritis prior to the May 2020 overdose. When a friend found her unconscious in her home, she'd overdosed on those meds, along with morphine and opiates. The incident triggered a severe stroke and left her in a coma for six weeks. Once she finally regained consciousness, damage to her brain left her with aphasia, which the Mayo Clinic defines as a disorder that impacts the ability to communicate. "She also had a cardiac arrest and a number of seizures," says Kevin, whose dad is Tatum's ex, the tennis icon John McEnroe. "There were times we didn't think she was going to survive," he recalls, adding that "she had become very isolated" by that point in the Covid pandemic. Because of the aphasia, she "didn't know where she was" when she came out of the coma and "she couldn't say, 'I'm scared.'" She also couldn't see her kids because of Covid safety restrictions during the height of the pandemic.

Since then, Tatum has made impressive progress with both her physical recovery and her sobriety. "I was an addict my whole life," she says, "pretty much on and off, for the past 30 to 40 years." The former child star is now in daily therapy, attending 12-step meetings and continuing to work on recovering her language skills. "Every day I am trying," she says. "I want to be with my beautiful three kids."

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" stars and real-life spouses Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney are addressing rumors Rob cheated — in terms as hilariously sarcastic terms as their show. On Monday, July 3, Kaitlin shared a Perez Hilton post referencing the Instagram gossip account DeauxMoi's claim she and Rob had "quietly separated after he cheated on her" during a recent visit to Wales.

Flipping the script, Kaitlin wrote: "It was me who had the affair. But it was not with someone from Wales. It was with a whale." She continued: "I've always loved whales. They're the bosses of the ocean and I'm attracted to power. We ask for privacy as we navigate this difficult time." Retweeting Kaitlin's post, Rob chimed in, writing: "Sad to admit that the rumor is true. However some of the details are …. Incorrect." Rob and Kaitlin said "I do" in 2008 after meeting on the set of "It's Always Sunny." As for the Wales detail, Rob and Ryan Reynolds purchased Wrexham, the historic soccer club in North Wales, in 2020 for $2.5 million.

Bringing the 'Kenergy'

Director Greta Gerwig recently told Rolling Stone that when she was casting "Barbie," Ryan Gosling was the only Ken she ever imagined as Margot Robbie's leading man. And while her choice initially led to some skepticism on social media, the response to the comedy's latest trailer suggests most fans are feeling Ryan's "Kenergy." The new clip (via the Daily Mail) sees Ken recovering from a surfing injury. "Shredding waves is much more dangerous than people realize," Ken says after being told nothing's broken. Barbie, standing beside him, responds, "You're very brave Ken," earning a puppy dog eyes-look from Ken, who then hilariously reveals what he actually does for a living. "You know surfing isn't even my job, and it is not lifeguard, which is a common misconception," Ken says to the other dolls' surprise. "Actually, my job, it's just 'beach.'" After being assured he's awesome at his beach gig, Ken asks Barbie if he can come to to her house later. "Sure," she says. "I don't have anything planned tonight, just a big giant blow out party with all the Barbies, and planned choreography and a bespoke song. You should stop by!" After the clip surfaced on Twitter this week, fans began predicting Ryan's Ken would "steal the show," with one person swooning over the "little smile" he flashes when Barbie tells him "he's good at beach," and others gushing that they "have to see" the flick despite never having played with Barbies.

In a Rolling Stone interview published Monday, July 3, Greta admits Ken "was only ever Ryan Gosling" to her, "and it was a long journey." Later, she adds, "Who else could do this? It's some combination of Marlon Brando meets Gene Wilder meets John Barrymore meets John Travolta." "Barbie" hits theaters July 21.

Bruce's fault?

Paul McCartney says fans today have unrealistic expectations about how long a concert should last — and he blames the trend on Bruce Springsteen's habit of rocking out onstage for hours. Speaking to Conan O'Brien on a recent edition of the former late-night star's "Needs a Friend" podcast, Paul, 81, harkened back to the Beatles' golden age of the '60s, when a concert bill featured "a lot of people because nobody [played] long" for their set. "These days, pretty much there's the main act and there might be a warm-up act," he said, according to The Independent. "Now, people will do three or four hours. I blame Bruce Springsteen – I've told him so, I said, 'It's your fault,'" the singer continued. "You can't now do an hour. We used to do a half hour. That was The Beatles' thing – half an hour, and we got paid for it. That was it. A Beatles show, we were on and off like that. It didn't seem strange."

Paul's comments about Bruce come after his allegation his former bandmate John Lennon broke up the Beatles. "I didn't instigate the split. That was our Johnny," he told the BBC in 2021. "I am not the person who instigated the split. Oh no, no, no. John walked into a room one day and said I am leaving the Beatles. And he said, 'It's quite thrilling, it's rather like a divorce.' And then we were left to pick up the pieces."

Booze brand defense

After facing criticism for releasing a cocktail brand, Delola, despite her rep as a teetotaler and her marriage to recovering alcoholic Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez defended herself on Instagram this week. "You know what, I know that a lot of people have been talking about, 'Oh, she doesn't even drink, what's she doing with a cocktail out?' And to tell you the truth, for a long time I didn't drink," she said in a video posted on Tuesday, July 4. "Years back, as you will see from several photos of me out, over the past 10, maybe 15 years, I have been, you know, having the occasional cocktail," she continued. "I do enjoy the occasional cocktail. I do drink responsibly, I don't drink to get s*** faced. I drink to be social and to have a nice time and just relax and let loose a bit, but always responsibly."

J.Lo went on to say she'd been unsuccessful in finding a drink she "really loved" over the years. "And so like anything else in my life, I made it myself," she explained. The singer added that because Delola boasts a lower calorie content, "natural flavors" and is gluten-free, it suits her "lifestyle." It's unclear if the post changed many minds, though. "So awkward when she talks about drinking responsibly and not getting s*** faced knowing her husband suffers from alcoholism for years. 🤔," one person wrote in the comments. "Ben is an alcoholic. Not the time to start drinking or starting a vodka business," added another. When J.Lo first announced Delola in April 2023, another critic slammed the venture as "a money grab."

Early prison release

"Smallville" alum Allison Mack was released from federal prison a year early on Monday, July 3, after serving time for her role in the NXIVM cult, Deadline reported Wednesday. Charged with racketeering and racketeering conspiracy for her participation in the organization, Allison was originally sentenced to 36 months behind bars after prosecutors said she recruited and groomed vulnerable women to become sex partners for NXIVM leader Keith Raniere. Her sentence was reportedly short thanks to her help with a sex trafficking case against Keith, who was sentenced in 2020 to 120 years in prison. Before she was sentenced in 2021, Allison called her participation in NXIVM "the biggest mistake and greatest regret of my life." 

Self-taught style

Tom Cruise learned more than just speed-flying for his seventh turn as Ethan Hunt in "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One." According to his co-star Hayley Atwell, Tom also learned how to handle his own pre-set glam needs while making the movie in 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. "There was, at one point, I think that he was doing his own hair and makeup because we were in the middle of the pandemic," Hayley said at the movie's Sydney, Australia, premiere, on Monday, July 3, per the Evening Standard. "He was moving massive props, just trying to help out to save time," she added. Tom later laughed as he recalled almost giving the movie's stylist "a heart attack" during a Zoom call where he "took the scissors out" and threatened to cut his own hair.

At 61, Tom still loves to film his own stunts, as he did for the latest installment of the spy franchise. In recent interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, Tom's described how he picked up speed-flying — a dangerous and fast combination of paragliding and hang-gliding — and rode a motorcycle off a cliff for the movie.

Over the course of his 74 years, Britain's King Charles III has met 10 of the 14 U.S. presidents who've held the top job in America since the royal was born in 1948. The only four POTUS the former Prince Charles missed out on meeting are Harry Truman, Gerald Ford, Lyndon B. Johnson and John F. Kennedy. (In case you're wondering, Charles's mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, met 13 of the last 14 U.S. presidents during her 96 years.)

TV stars with money issues call off contentious divorce: Famous couples who split and later reconciled

Celebrities are known for their roller coaster love lives — they fall in and out of love over and over again, sometimes with the same person. We're taking a look back at famous pairs who got back together after very public breakups, starting with this newly reconciled duo…

After months of nastiness, accusations and name-calling, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann pulled the plug on their divorce in July 2023. TMZ reported that the two have been getting along well in recent days and want to work it out for the sake of their four young children. The former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star's filing to dismiss her divorce petition came on July 7 — less than a week after she and the former NFL player were seen at church together. The reconciliation between the former Bravo stars, who both filed for divorce in May 2023 after 11 years of marriage, comes after some real vitriol — she accused him of drug use and being a safety risk around their kids, and he accused her of having a gambling problem. Kroy also said Kim needed a psychiatric exam for narcissistic personality disorder. Finances were also a problem for the couple in the lead-up to their split: The reality TV stars reportedly owe more than $1 million in unpaid taxes. The financial claims came several months after Kim and Kroy's Georgia mansion went into foreclosure and was set to be auctioned off. When news of their split emerged in April 2023, there was a deep conflict over who was responsible for their financial problems.

Adam Levine started dating Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo in 2012. They'd been together for about a year when the Maroon 5 frontman ended things. It wasn't long until the singer began a relationship with another Victoria's Secret model, Nina Agdal — but that romance was short-lived. It took dating someone else for Adam to discover "the one" had already been in his life for a few years. "Famous last words, 'I'll never get married,'" he recalled on "The Tonight Show" in 2013. "I still don't necessarily think you have to get married unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them. And then you marry them and it's wonderful." They got engaged in 2002 while J.Lo was topping the charts with her hit "Jenny From The Block," which featured a video starring her A-list beau. The two made headlines for their every move as Bennifer, something Vanity Fair at the time called "the first of that sort of tabloid branding." But they called off their 2003 wedding just days before it was set to take place and ended their engagement months later in early 2004. Jennifer later said that Ben's discomfort with the amount of media attention surrounding their relationship was a factor in their split. She called it her "first real heartbreak" in an interview with People magazine and Entertainment Weekly's editorial director in 2016, adding, "I think different time, different thing, who knows what could've happened, but there was a genuine love there." They moved on to respective failed relationships with Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, and after Jennifer ended her engagement to another star, retired MLB slugger Alex Rodriguez, in April 2021, it wasn't long before Bennifer was back on. A little more than a year after the pair reunited, they finally tied the knot.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber met at a concert meet-and-greet as kids but didn't spark dating rumors until they reunited years later in 2014. They finally confirmed their romance in 2016 but ended things just a few months later. Justin, who'd ben on and off with singer-actress Selena Gomez for years, moved on with Sofia Richie and, as Hailey later explained to U.K. newspaper The Times, they were no longer on speaking terms. "We went through a long period of time when we weren't friends," she said after they were spotted together again in 2018. "We didn't speak for quite some time and there was a lot of weirdness that went on. We've moved past that." Just one month after giving it another go in the summer of 2018, Justin proposed. The iconic "Star Trek" actor filed to divorce his fourth wife in late 2019 following nearly two decades of marriage. Per the terms of their prenup, Bill forked over $2 million in spousal support to Elizabeth in their divorce. It's unclear how exactly they found their way back to each other.

Rappers Cardi B and Offset have made headlines for years with their on-and-off relationship that began in early 2017. She spoke to The Fader about how much the Migos performer inspired her, saying, "It's been a blessing, me meeting him and meeting his friends. I see how hard they work and that motivated me to work even harder." The two quietly married later that same year but didn't tell fans, instead perpetuating that they got engaged on stage — until TMZ discovered a marriage license and outed them as Mr. and Mrs. However, it wasn't long before Cardi, who welcomed their first child, daughter Kulture, in 2018, announced on Instagram that she and Offset had separated in the wake of a cheating scandal. But by 2019, they'd gotten back together, making their first red carpet appearance at the Grammy Awards, which led fans to believe all was good between them. That is, until the "Up" performer filed for divorce in 2020 … only to call it off one month later. But they didn't make their debut as a couple until a pre-Screen Actors Guild Awards party in 2017, with the "Younger" star explaining to Vogue in 2019 that there "wasn't an instant spark" but that they'd formed a "nice friendship" right away. After only a few months of dating, however, they broke up due to their "busy schedules." By the end of the year, they gave it another shot, with Hilary joking on "The Talk" at the time, "It's going so great. I mean, this is the third time that we've dated." She added, "Timing is such a big deal… I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn't work out the first time, the second time, as long as there's not too much damage done, then, it can always work out again." Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey met while she was a host on MTV's hit music video countdown series "Total Request Live" and began dating after she was cast as his love interest in the music video for his 2006 ballad "What's Left of Me." But their road to the altar wasn't without its bumps. "Right before we got married, we broke up," the "Live With Kelly and Ryan" host said on Betches' "Comments by Celebs" podcast in 2018. "We broke up and we got back together the day before we went off and eloped. Yeah, we eloped. We went to Vegas and got married." They then welcomed three children: son Michael in 1997, daughter Lola Grace in 2001 and son Joaquin Antonio in 2003. "Because when you know, you know. Kristen Bell began dating fellow actor and Michigan native Dax Shepard in 2007, and they announced their engagement in 2010. However, they nearly didn't make it official after Dax told her early on in their relationship that he wasn't ready for something serious. "We were dating for about three months," Kristen explained to Popsugar in 2017. "He sat me down and said, 'I can't have this right now. I think you're wonderful, but I am still dating other people.' "I was just like, 'I'd just be happier single right now.'" And while be blamed much of the breakup on his being sick at the time, Chrissy wasn't interested in ending things and refused to go without a fight. JAY-Z was raised by a single mother who publicly came out as a lesbian in 2017. The rapper and businessman said he always knew his mom, Gloria Carter, was gay and cried with happiness when she finally told him the truth about her sexual identity. "Imagine having to live your life as someone else and you think you're protecting your kids. And for my mother to have to live as someone that she wasn't … [she] didn't want to embarrass her kids for all this time. And for her to sit in front of me and say, 'I think I love someone…' I mean, I really cried. That's a real story," Jay said on Netflix's "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman."

In July 2023, Jay and wife Beyonce — as well as stars including Tyler Perry, Kelly Rowland, Robin Roberts and Corey Gamble — were there to support Gloria when she married partner Roxanne Wilshire in New York City.

Mandy Moore's mom, Stacy, divorced her father to be with another woman. The "This Is Us" star has said that she loves her "nontraditional," "extraordinarily close" family. "Nobody is hiding who they are. There are no secrets in our lives," the Emmy-nominated actress told People magazine of her mom, who identifies as a lesbian, and her two brothers, who are also gay. "I love and support my mom and my brothers with my whole heart. And nothing makes me happier than seeing anybody live their authentic self, and to choose love. If anyone can find love, I support it, I salute you and I celebrate that."

Wrestler-turned-movie star Dave Bautista's mother, Donna Raye, is gay. "I was always proud of who my mom was because she was always proud of who she was. In your face, f*** you if you don't like it, unapologetically loud and proud. And her son [paid] attention. BE LOUD, BE PROUD, BE YOU," he captioned a Pride Month post on Instagram in 2022, adding hashtags including #ProudSonOfALesbian. During Pride Month in 2019, the former WWE heavyweight champion — who's starred in everything from "Guardians of the Galaxy" to "Dune" to "Glass Onion" — praised his mama, writing on Facebook, "She never apologized for who she was or who she loved. Which is why I never did either. And never will! A strong lesbian raised a strong man … We lived in the Castro during the Harvey Milk years. She volunteered with every bit of strength and heartbroken energy she had with The Names Project. She still volunteers in San Francisco helping the homeless and mentally ill. She is the reason I am who I am. Every decent part of me as a human being is directly because of my mother."

In January 2022, Dave revealed that he had a tattoo of Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao's team logo on his forearm covered up when he learned Manny was a bigot. "I was a part of a team of a person I considered a friend and someone I really looked up to. Then he later came out publicly with some anti-gay statements and turned out to be an extreme homophobe. And so I had a huge issue with it," Dave explained in a tattoo tour video for GQ. "It's a personal issue with me. My mom's a lesbian. And I just could no longer call him a friend. And so I had it covered up."

MSNBC anchor Katy Tur's father is transgender. Zoey Tur — a pioneering helicopter pilot and journalist who famously captured the attack on Reginald Denny during the 1992 Los Angeles riots as well as O.J. Simpson's Bronco chase on the 405 freeway in 1994 — came out as a trans woman in 2013. "My dad said, 'I am a woman.' And I said, 'What? And my dad said, 'I'm a woman. I'm transitioning, I'm going to become a woman,'" Katy shared on "CBS Sunday Morning" in June 2022 while discussing her memoir, "Rough Draft." "And I remember being at first puzzled and saying, 'You gotta be joking. You're kidding, what are you talking about?' And my dad was adamant. 'I'm the wrong person. I'm going to become the right person. Don't you see? This is why I've been so angry.' And it was really just, it was a lot." Katy and Zoey became estranged, but Katy has denied claims it's because of her parent's transition. In her book and on CBS, Katy detailed "fits of anger" that her family endured from an often "abusive" Zoey when Katy was growing up. Zoey acknowledged the outbursts and behavior to CBS, admitting, "Throwing batteries? Probably, yeah. Punching walls? There were a couple. I was in the news business and I — we — were under … extraordinary pressure," Zoey said. "I could be very intimidating, for sure. And, you know, and if the kids felt I was intimidating, I apologize. I did the best I could." Zoey added that she accepts that her daughter is now sharing these stories. "If it takes an act of public humiliation, in front of a camera, to make Katy feel better, and feel vindicated, so be it," Zoey said. "I'm happy to do that. I love her that much."

"WandaVision" star Paul Bettany opened up to Total Film magazine in November 2020 while promoting his movie "Uncle Frank" — in which he plays a gay man in the 1970s who confronts his past — to share his experience with a gay parent. Paul said his late father, actor-dancer Thane Bettany, came out at 63 and entered what would be a 20-year relationship with love Andy Clark after divorcing Paul's theater teacher mother, Anne, following 25 years of marriage. After his partner died in 2015, Thane — who was in his 80s and ultimately passed away just months later — "decided to go back inside the closet and say that it had all been a big misunderstanding because he was a Catholic and concerned about getting past Peter through the pearly gates," the "Avengers" franchise star explained. "The shame he felt for his sexual identity was devastating. He was unable to mourn the person who I think was the love of his life."

Robert De Niro's father, artist Robert De Niro Sr., divorced the actor's mother in 1945 and came out as a gay man. The "Taxi Driver" actor made a documentary about his dad, "Remembering the Artist: Robert De Niro Sr.," to commemorate his legacy. "About his homosexuality? Yeah, he probably was [conflicted], being from that generation, especially from a small town upstate. I was not aware, much, of it. I wish we had spoken about it much more," the two-time Oscar winner told Out Magazine. "My mother didn't want to talk about things in general, and you're not interested when you're a certain age. Again, for my kids, I want them to stop and take a moment and realize that you sometimes have to do things now instead of later, because later may be 20 years from now — and that's too late."

Jodie Foster's mother, Evelyn "Brandy" Almond, was a lesbian who raised Jodie with her female partner after divorcing Jodie's father. The "Inside Man" actress and her siblings referred to her mom's girlfriend as Aunt Jo. Jodie herself publicly came out as a gay woman during her acceptance speech at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards.

Reality TV stars Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner are the children of Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner, who publicly came out as a trans woman in 2015. The former professional athlete and would-be politician has two older biological kids, Cassandra and Burt, and was a stepfather to third ex-wife Kris Jenner's brood — Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian — for more than two decades.

Rapper 50 Cent was raised by his mother, Sabrina, who was a lesbian and a drug dealer, according to the rapper. She died in a mysterious fire when he was 8 and he went to live with his grandparents.

Liza Minnelli's father, Vincente Minnelli, was long rumored to be gay or bisexual. Biographers have said that he was openly gay while directing in New York but was pressured back into the closet after moving to Hollywood, where he met Liza's mom, Judy Garland, whom he married in 1945.

Judy Garland's dad, Frank Gumm, was reportedly gay but was forced to live his life in the closet. Judy later married and divorced Vincente Minnelli, who was also rumored to be gay or bisexual.

Ally Sheedy's mother, literary agent and activist Charlotte Sheedy, came out as a lesbian after divorcing Ally's father, John J. Sheedy Jr., when Ally was 9. "It's difficult for me to understand a family member judging or not loving or accepting another family member because they are gay," the "Breakfast Club" alum told the Windy City Times. Ally's adult son Beckett, who previously identified as queer and gender fluid, is a trans man. Acceptance, Ally has said, all comes down to one question: "Do you love that person or not?"

The late Natasha Richardson and actress Joely Richardson's father, Tony Richardson, was bisexual but never acknowledged it publicly until after he contracted HIV. He died of AIDS-related complications in 1991. In 2011, Joely — whose mom is acclaimed actress Vanessa Redgrave — told The Telegraph, "My father's bisexuality is a foot note if anything, not a headline of what defined his great contribution to the arts."

Natasha Richardson and Joely Richardson's mother, actress Vanessa Redgrave (right), and aunt, actress Lynn Redgrave (left), grew up with a bisexual father, actor-director Michael Redgrave. Their actor and activist brother, Corin, wrote a biography of their late father in 1995 that was inspired by Corin's memory of when his dad — who was unfaithful to their mother and once had a relationship with playwright Noel Coward, among other men — came out to him. "I think I ought to tell you, that I am, to say the least of it, bisexual," Corin recalled his dad sharing before dissolving into tears.

Jennifer Grey's father, Academy Award-winning actor Joel Grey, came out as a gay man in 2015 at 82. "I feel very happy for my dad that he has come to a point in his life where he feels safe and/or comfortable enough to declare himself in a public way as a gay man," Jennifer told People magazine. "To love who you love," the "Dirty Dancing" star added, "I think it can only be a good thing."

"The Hunger Games" actress Jena Malone was raised by her mother, Deborah Malone, and her mother's girlfriend, whom she's called her "godmom." "When I was younger, I didn't know it was any different. They never really came out as gay," Jena told LA Weekly in 2014. "My godmom was more open about it than my mom. My mom still renounces it. She doesn't like to talk about that. It was the only relationship she had with a woman. She found Christianity when they broke up, and she started dating men again."

Andy Richter's parents divorced when he was 4 and his father, Laurence Richter, later came out as a gay man. The "Conan" comedian discussed the experience during a 2010 episode of Greg Fitzsimmons' eponymous podcast.

Actress Dorothy Dandridge's mother, Ruby Dandridge, was bisexual. Ruby reportedly began dating her partner, Geneva Williams, after divorcing Dorothy's father.

In a 2001 interview on "Larry King Live," Anne Heche said that her father, Donald Heche, died in 1983 after a secret battle with AIDS when she was 13. "We were told — he never admitted it. He was in complete denial until the day he died," she said. "We know he got it from his gay relationships. Absolutely. I don't think it was just one. He was a very promiscuous man, and we knew his lifestyle then." Anne also claimed her dad sexually abused her when she was a young girl.

According to a 2014 report in the National Enquirer, Amy Adams' mother, Kathryn, filed to divorce the Oscar-nominated actress's father, Richard, in the mid-'80s after leaving him "for another woman."

In an article published by New! magazine in June 2021, English singer-songwriter and TV personality Kerry Katona opened up about how her mother's sexuality affected her during her childhood. "A lot of my family members are gay," wrote the "Celebrity Big Brother" alum and former Atomic Kitten singer. "My mum was in an 11-year relationship with a woman and I was bullied at school because of it. I remember it was my 9th birthday and my mum threw me a little party. I was waiting for people to turn up and no one did. And it was because my mum was with a woman."

Ana Matronic's father came out as a gay man after divorcing her mother. He died of AIDS-related complications when the Scissor Sisters singer was 15. "My mother told us she'd separated from my father because he was gay," she told Metro in 2013. "When I was 15, he became very ill, due to having HIV, and passed away."

Summer's here! From killer street style and red carpet getups to bizarre accessories and underwhelming warm weather outfits, we're rounding them all up for you here…

Give us all the floral this summer! We were wild about Lea Michele's Emilia Wickstead pick for the Tony Awards in New York City on June 11… especially the unexpected red-and-white color palette. The thin straps and straight neckline paired with a drop waist and full skirt were just icing on the cake.

What's more summery than a good floral frock? Kristin Davis wore the perfect one while out in New York City on June 20, rocking this green-and-white design cinched with a chunky white belt. White pointy-toe pumps completed her perfect summer in the city ensemble that we could see Charlotte wearing too!

We love a good summer white moment, but we weren't wild about the silhouette of the Carolina Herrera gown Scarlett Johansson wore to the "Asteroid City" premiere in New York City on June 13. From the drop waist to the halter straps to the massive floral detail at the neckline, this one felt dated and underwhelming.

We loved the slinky Armani Prive sequin gown Cate Blanchett wore to the 2023 The Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City on June 15. You might not realize it… but you've seen (part!) of this dress before! Cate wore the shimmery sequined top portion to the 2023 SAG Awards earlier this year, but we much prefer this pairing. Let's take a closer look at the colorful geometric print she wore underneath…

We much prefer the subtle pop of color this pretty Armani Prive print brought to the look, which included shades of gold, periwinkle, emerald green and pink.

It was the middle of June so we'd like to know why Gabrielle Union thought a floor-length coat was a good option! The star arrived for an appearance on "Good Morning America" in New York City on June 13 in head-to-toe wool Michael Kors — a gray duster over a sweater dress that looked much more appropriate for fall or winter. Making matters worse? That massive medallion she wore around her neck… which was also plucked right from the runway along with the other elements of this look. Next!

A look we adored from the "Asteroid City" premiere in New York City on June 13? This one from Margot Robbie, who took a break from Barbie pink for the occasion. The star arrived in a darling Schiaparelli black-and-white minidress with a sweetheart neckline and a velvet corset and peplum detail that flowed into a pleated white skirt. Black pointy-toe pumps rounded out the great ensemble.

From the color to the draping to the delicate pleating, we're still daydreaming about the perfect summer selection Nicky Hilton Rothschild wore to the Max Mara Cruise 2024 fashion show in Stockholm, Sweden, on June 11. We loved every inch of it from the high neck to the floor-length skirt to the way she accessorized with a pale metallic clutch.

A floral jumpsuit? Sign us up! Jessica Chastain sported this stunning strapless Oscar de la Renta selection with floral and butterfly embellishments at the premiere of "The Flash" in Los Angeles on June 12. The wide-legged trousers were an interesting element, making this look feel like a breath of fresh floral air.

Diane Kruger wowed at the 2023 The Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City on June 15 in this sweet and unexpectedly fabulous pairing of tan and vibrant red. The Jason Wu ensemble was comprised of a cheery red blazer with just a glimpse of a tan high-necked lace minidress underneath. The actress finished it expertly with a pair of strappy tan sandals.

Who's that girl? You can't tell, but there's an Academy Award winner in this incognito look. It's Jennifer Lawrence under that blue Polo baseball hat, which she paired with a white T-shirt and baggy navy trousers from The Row. Casual Pierre Hardy sandals and Dior sunglasses finished up this low-key look she donned in New York City on June 21.

While we appreciated the variation on the two-piece trend, La La Anthony's lime green design still underwhelmed at the premiere of "The Perfect Find" during the Tribeca Festival in New York City on June 14. Though it wasn't a crop top and low-waisted skirt pairing, the design utilized sheer mesh down the bodice to give a similar skin-baring vibe that we weren't wild about.

Floral! Lace! Ruffles! This Erdem dress Felicity Jones wore to the National Gallery Summer Party in London on June 15 had it all, and we loved every inch of it. From the high neck to the beaded flower details to the sweet pleating and ruffled tiers of lace, this midi-length frock was a hit.

You might have had a little deja vu when you saw Calista Flockhart at the "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" premiere in Los Angeles on June 14. That's because she wore the same yellow Ralph Lauren skirt she first rocked at the 1999 Emmy Awards 24 years ago! But we didn't like the styling as much this time around. Back then, the "Ally McBeal" actress wore it with a tied-up white button-down shirt. This time, the star paired it with an off-the-shoulder black top for a more contrasting look.

It's surprising, but the sleeveless black frock Katie Holmes wore to the American Ballet Theater's June Gala premiere of "Like Water for Chocolate" in New York City on June 22 was by Chloe. The crochet-style design included a see-through pattern at the waist and down the skirt for a more laid-back and casual vibe that we're not sure was red carpet worthy.

At first glance, we thought the slinky gold gown Vanessa Kirby wore to the "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1" film premiere in Rome on June 19 was iconic Versace chainmail. But a closer look revealed it was actually shimmery crystal embellishments atop a pretty pale gold fabric from Miu Miu.

Leave it to Julia Fox to don a completely sheer mint green jumpsuit. The star stepped out in this disastrous and daring look while shopping in New York City on June 12, topping it with a denim coat, denim heels and a pair of pink-lensed glasses.

While promoting her latest flick, "No Hard Feelings," Jennifer Lawrence has served up some polarizing looks, but this blazer-style minidress from Givenchy was one we could definitely get behind. The A-lister rocked it at the premiere in Berlin, Germany, on June 15 with a sheer blouse underneath and pointy-toe pumps for a new twist on sans-shirt styling.

Eva Longoria looked cool and comfortable while stopping by "The View" in New York City on June 12. The actress donned this pale pink silk pantsuit — complete with wide-legged trousers — with a blouse in the same hue for a monochromatic moment that looked easy and breezy enough for summer.

Nicky Hilton Rothschild showed us there's such a thing as too much yellow when she wore this dress to the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Pride Event in New York City on June 14. Though we loved most of the socialite's looks this month, this tiered and layered frothy pick felt like overkill. It didn't help that she paired it with equally bold jewelry, adding massive turquoise pieces to the mix.

Emilia Clarke continued the floral dress trend, stunning in a midi-length Emilia Wickstead design featuring a strapless silhouette and a pretty red rose print at the "Secret Invasion" screening in Los Angeles on June 13… so much so that we'll excuse the underwhelming PVC pumps she paired it with.

The Loewe dress that Jennifer Lawrence wore at her "No Hard Feelings" premiere in Madrid on June 14 was a polarizing pick. The Academy Award winner's structural midi-length frock included a dramatically pronounced sweetheart neckline and a column-style silhouette in a shade that nearly matched her skin tone. The odd piece may have been helped by a pop of color or fun shoe, but simple black sandals and a red lip didn't salvage this one.

Kanye West and Bianca Censori, whom he married in a reportedly non-legally binding ceremony in early 2023, showed off some funky fashion ahead of church services in Los Angeles on June 4. Ye sported a shoulder-padded T-shirt, leggings and sock shoes. Bianca rocked an even wilder combo — a stocking-type dress with a flattened tubular shape around the neck that the internet compared to everything from a spare tire to a condom. Heeled ankle boots completed her bizarre church ensemble.

Hailee Steinfeld stunned at a screening of "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" in London on June 2 in this unique silhouette by Blumarine. From the long bell sleeves to the sleek fit that culminated in a tiny train, this frock felt fresh and fun on the young star.

Carrie Bradshaw would be so proud of this New York City ensemble Sarah Jessica Parker wore on June 8! The star topped her sweet knee-length floral frock with a mismatched pattern — a swirly pastel-print cropped jacket — and pink pumps we could definitely see being worn on vintage "Sex and the City" episodes.

Kristen Stewart was on hand for Chanel's Metiers d'art Collection event in Tokyo on June 1 sporting a set of summer-ready white coordinates. We liked the tank top and miniskirt combo… but she lost us with the addition of socks and platform sandals, ruining the warmer weather vibe.

Rita Ora's mismatched Versace coordinates missed the mark at the Australia premiere of "The New Boy" at the Sydney Film Festival on June 7. The singer donned a tweed cropped jacket from the fashion house and a plaid miniskirt, completing her look with a pair of leather platform Mary Janes — and we weren't wild about any of it.

We're not used to seeing Debra Messing on the hit list, but here she is! The actress attended the "Will & Grace" 25th anniversary event in New York City on June 5 in a surprisingly chic combo — a hot pink suit with a black corset underneath.

Camila Cabello is back on the miss list! The singer hit the streets of New York City on June 2 in this pair of unfortunate jeans with tie details up the side and paired the pants with a cropped graphic tee, sneakers and big hoops for an underwhelming look.

We were really feeling Jessica Chastain's outfit at the 2023 Drama Desk Awards in New York City on June 6. From the cheery neon green shade to the combo of a jumpsuit and long blazer, we loved this Sergio Hudson ensemble.

Amanda Seyfried arrived the premiere of Apple TV+'s "The Crowded Room" in New York City on June 1 in this killer Alexander McQueen combo. The embellished leather crop top and tuxedo pants made for a unique pairing, and pointy-toe pumps beautifully rounded out the chic ensemble.

We didn't recognize Ashlee Simpson at first at the Race to Erase MS Gala in Los Angeles on June 2. The star donned this pretty strapless white gown, which she paired with some very dramatic jewels…

While we liked the simplicity of Ashlee Simpson's white gown, she lost us with these over-the-top jewels — massive earrings and a choker.

Alessandra Ambrosio kept things cool amid the Santa Monica June gloom on June 7, running errands in a green sweater and khaki flare trousers. Sneakers and dark shades completed her off-duty model look.

Sydney Sweeney upgraded the LBD with this Nensi Dojaka number at the unveiling of RH England in Banbury, England, on June 3. The star sported the turtleneck minidress with bell sleeves with a pair of Calzedonia tights and pointy-toe black pumps for a chic and understated look.

Sarah Jessica Parker sported a chic two-tone look in New York City on June 8, stepping out in this black-and-white dress with puffy sleeves and a dark bodice. Black heels and a metallic bag finished off the sharp ensemble.

Elevated basics! Jennifer Lopez really took a white T-shirt to the next level by pairing it with corduroy flare trousers from Chloe. The superstar stepped out in West Hollywood on June 8 in this chic throwback look, accessorizing with a Birkin bag, a chunky belt and Gucci platform sandals.

Jenna Dewan stepped out in Los Angeles on June 7 in this contrasting pink and red getup. We appreciated the bold shades in time for summer — and those white sunglasses — but weren't wild about the clashing vibrant red and hot pink combo.

"Vanderpump Rules" beauty Scheana Shay selected a strapless chocolate brown velvet gown for the Race to Erase MS Gala in Los Angeles on June 2. Detached sleeves aren't usually great in our books, but they worked for this specific look. Her "Good as Gold" bag as an accessory also worked, infusing some metallic into the ensemble.

Nicky Hilton Rothschild sported a sweet seersucker sleeveless dress complete with a peplum detail at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Jersey City, New Jersey, on June 3. She added espadrilles, a hat and a wicker bag to complete her polo-ready outfit.

Tom Hanks turns 67! See the Hollywood icon's life and career in pictures

Remember the show "Bosom Buddies"? Did you catch the first run of the TV movie "Mazes and Monsters"? Tom Hanks, who starred in both of those for-the-ages projects, long ago went on to become a certified A-list talent. In celebration of his 67th birthday on July 9, 2023, we're taking a look back at some historical photos of the biggest — and most likable — Hollywood movie star in history.

Tom Hanks hasn't always been married to Rita Wilson: He wed actress Samantha Lewes in 1978 before he made it big (they're seen together here in 1983) but by 1987, they were divorced. They had two kids together: actor Colin Hanks and writer Elizabeth Hanks. Samantha lost her battle with bone cancer in 2002.

"Bosom Buddies," a sitcom with a shaky premise (cross-dressing to get cheap rent!), only lasted a couple seasons, but if you go back and watch it now, you can see Tom Hanks brimming with potential. He landed that role in 1980, and it wouldn't take Hollywood long to figure out that he could be way more than a sitcom cut-up.

In 1984, Tom Hanks starred opposite sexy mermaid Daryl Hannah in "Splash." The comedy was a big hit, and Tom proved he had a rare talent — the ability to play a normal guy who's also a leading man. Who also gets the super-beautiful mermaid.

_

Tom Hanks is seen here with Jared Rushton, the young actor who played his best friend in the 1988 movie "Big." This was another huge hit, not to mention a timeless film, and Tom scored his first Oscar nomination for his performance in the flick. Nobody plays a giant kid better than Tom Hanks. We're talking to you, Adam Sandler.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, who met on the set of "Bosom Buddies" and co-starred in 1985's "Volunteers," are seen here at the 1987 AMPAS Governors Ball following the Oscars. They tied the knot in 1988, welcomed sons Chester and Truman and are still going strong!

_

Tom Hanks proved his dramatic chops playing a gay attorney with AIDS in 1993's "Philadelphia." Here he is hoisting the Oscar he received for that performance. Of course, that would be far from his last award.

_

Let's not forget that in 1993, Tom Hanks also starred in a little charmer called "Sleepless in Seattle" alongside Meg Ryan. Here he is with co-star Rob Reiner.

_

Run, Forrest, run! In 1994, Tom Hanks starred in the epic drama "Forrest Gump" — and scored another Academy Award for his performance the following year. The win was remarkable in that it made him only the second actor, after Spencer Tracy, to win back-to-back Oscars.

_

Next up, Tom Hanks starred as astronaut Jim Lovell in 1995's "Apollo 13." The movie was a huge box office success, grossing more than $355 million on a $30 million budget. "Apollo 13" was also nominated for nine Academy Awards including best picture. It ultimately won for best film editing and best sound.

_

Also in 1995, Tom Hanks starred in one of the most popular animated films of all time — "Toy Story" — voicing Sheriff Woody. The movie went on to earn more than $373 million at the worldwide box office and three Academy Award nominations (including best original screenplay) and spawn multiple successful sequels.

_

In 1996, Tom Hanks co-starred alongside Johnathon Schaech, Liv Tyler, Ethan Embry, Tom Everett Scott and Steve Zahn in the "That Thing You Do!" The comedic movie, which tells the story of the rapid rise and fall of a fictional 1960s pop band, marked Tom's writing and directorial debut.

In July 1998, Tom Hanks was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony outside Hollywood's famed Chinese Theatre. Wife Rita Wilson was by his side.

_

Tom Hanks earned his fourth best actor Academy Award nomination for his work in 1998's "Saving Private Ryan." Tom starred as a WWII Army Rangers captain leading his squad to find a paratrooper who's the last living brother of four soldiers. The heartfelt Steven Spielberg film — one of the best war movies ever made — was also a box office hit, earning $481 million worldwide.

A few months after 1998's "Saving Private Ryan" hit theaters, Tom Hanks re-teamed with Meg Ryan for the December 1998 rom-com "You've Got Mail." It would mark the pair's third of four on-screen collaborations.

_

Tom Hanks lost 50 pounds to play a FedEx engineer who's stranded on an uninhabited island in the South Pacific following a plane crash in the 2000 movie "Cast Away" directed by Robert Zemeckis. Tom earned his fifth Oscar nomination for his work in the flick.

_

In 2002, Tom Hanks became the youngest ever recipient of AFI's Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented to him by Steven Spielberg.

_

Tom Hanks clutched the two trophies he won — for directing and producing the HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers" — alongside collaborator Steven Spielberg at the Emmy Awards in 2002. Over the course of his career, Tom's won seven Primetime Emmys for his work making projects that also include "From the Earth to the Moon," "John Adams" and "The Pacific."

In 2006, Tom Hanks starred with Audrey Tautou in "The Da Vinci Code" — they're seen here together at the Cannes Film Festival that year. The movie made $758 million at the worldwide box office, but we can't quit staring at Tom's hair.

In 2007, Tom Hanks starred in the wonderful film "Charlie Wilson's War." He's seen here at the movie's premiere hanging out with his mom, Janet Turner.

In 2008, Tom Hanks co-starred with son Colin Hanks in "The Great Buck Howard." Here they are together at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Three years later in 2011, Tom became a first-time grandma when Colin and wife Samantha Bryant welcomed daughter Olivia Jane.

_

In 2010, Tom Hanks reprised his role as Sheriff Woody in the critically acclaimed "Toy Story 3" (he's seen here at its premiere). The film was the first animated movie to cross the $1 billion mark and was the highest grossing animated film of all time until it was surpassed by "Frozen" in 2014.

_

In 2013, Tom Hanks starred in "Captain Phillips," which was nominated for a slew of Oscars. Wife Rita Wilson's dress exploded with pride on the red carpet at the film's London premiere.

Tom Hanks chatted with President Barack Obama and fellow Kennedy Center Honors recipients Al Green and Patricia McBride during a reception in their honor at White House in Washington, D.C., in 2014.

Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson were all smiles as they attended the "Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special" taping in February 2015. Two months later, Tom's beloved wife revealed she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer and had undergone a double mastectomy. "I feel blessed to have a loving, supportive husband, family, friends and doctors," she said at the time. "And that I am the beneficiary of advances in the field of breast cancer and reconstruction. I am getting better every day and look forward to renewed health." By the end of the year, Rita had bounced back and felt like her health was in a fantastic place — in large part thanks to Tom's unwavering support.

Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks teamed up again for the 2015 flick "Bridge of Spies." It grossed more than $165 million and picked up six Academy Award nominations.

Director Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks joined forces for the 2016 drama "Sully," which tells the story of Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the heroic pilot who landed a commercial airliner on the Hudson River in 2009. The film received positive reviews from critics and grossed more than $240 million worldwide.

Tom Hanks portrayed Harvard University professor Robert Langdon — who sets out to solve the mystery of an ancient secret society — for the first time in 2006's "The Da Vinci Code." For the movie that kicked off a franchise based on author Dan Brown's bestselling books, Tom sported longish hair that many fans likened to a wavy mullet.

In 2022's "Elvis," Tom Hanks took on the role of Tom Parker, Elvis Presley's legendary manager. For the Baz Luhrmann flick, the actor had to shave his head and undergo hours in the prosthetics chair, resulting in an uncanny resemblance to the historical music figure.

When it came time to reprise his role as Harvard professor Robert Langdon in "Inferno" — the sequel to "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels & Demons" — Tom Hanks stepped back into his old suits as he harnessed his problem-solving skills… but this time, fortunately, there was no mullet!

In the 2019 biopic "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood," Tom Hanks transformed into beloved cardigan-wearing children's show host Mr. Rogers. The performance earned Tom a well-deserved best actor nod at the 2020 Academy Awards.

In one of his most iconic roles, Tom Hanks played Chuck Noland in 2000's "Cast Away." For the part that saw him stuck on a deserted island with a volleyball named Wilson, Tom lost and regained 53 pounds in order to pull off the before-and-after versions of his character. He also had to grow a big beard.

In 2016's "Sully," Tom Hanks took on the role — and the look — of real-life hero Chesley Sullenberger, the former U.S. Airways pilot who managed to land his plane in the Hudson River and save the flight's passengers and crew in 2009.

Tom Hanks, is that you? In 2012's "Cloud Atlas," Tom played many roles and took on many different looks. He was Dr. Henry Goose, the hotel manager, Dermot Hoggins, Zachry and Issac Sachs — a nuclear engineer, seen here. In order to play him, Tom not only needed a lab coat but a red-haired wig and gold-frame glasses.

In "Cloud Atlas," Tom Hanks looked like a completely new man as he played Dermot Hoggins. For this character, Tom was bald with sideburns and an overly groomed goatee. The diamonds in his ears completed his thuggish look.

Tom Hanks won the Academy Award for best actor for his portrayal of Andrew Beckett in the 1993 film "Philadelphia." Andrew was a lawyer who hid from his law firm that he was homosexual and living with AIDS — and got fired. After he was dismissed, Andrew sued the firm. In order to play the part, Tom had to dye his hair gray and slim down.

Tom Hanks played Walt Disney in the 2013 period drama "Saving Mr. Banks." In order to look like Walt, Tom sported a mustache and slicked-back hair that aged him. Like Walt, he also donned suits with pocket squares.

Tom Hanks played Professor G.H. Dorr in 2004's "The Ladykillers," and he made the mastermind of a casino heist come to life when he altered his physical appearance for the role. With his hair curled in the middle of his forehead and a goatee, Tom looked like a calculating professor. His look was completed with a beige suit and matching bow tie.

In 2002's "Catch Me If You Can," Tom Hanks played Carl Hanratty, the head of the FBI's check fraud division. Tom looked period perfect in the '60s-set flick thanks to a fedora, retro half-frame eyeglasses and a vintage-style suit.

"Run, Forrest, run!" In one of his most famous roles, Tom Hanks played the titular hero in the 1994 drama "Forrest Gump." Forrest was a Southern gentleman who served in the U.S. Army — among many other interesting jobs. While he wasn't the most intelligent of men, he was incredibly endearing. In order to play the part, Tom sported a clean-cut look with a military-style buzz cut. His movie wardrobe consisted of plaid shirts and khakis for much of the film.

Tom Hanks not only wrote and directed "That Thing You Do!" but portrayed Mr. White in the 1996 movie. Mr. White was a Tone Records A&R representative who made stars of the band The Wonders. To get into character, Tom rocked sunglasses and looked very suave in his black suits.

With unkempt hair, a messed-up gray suit and Converse sneakers, a young Tom Hanks looked like a believable bachelor as he played Rick Gassko, an engaged man facing temptation to cheat on his fiancée, in 1984's "Bachelor Party."

In the 1998 war drama "Saving Private Ryan," Tom Hanks played Captain John H. Miller. For the role as a rugged U.S. Army officer, Tom sported scruff and a dirtied-up look in the trenches.

Tom Hanks starred as hitman Michael Sullivan in the 2002 crime drama "Road to Perdition." His 1930s criminal character came to life with the help of a mustache, a trench coat and a wide-brimmed hat.

Tom Hanks played the part of Commander Jim Lovell in 1995's "Apollo 13." For the role, he had short hair and stubble on his face. The detailed suit and headset made him look ready to survive in space.

When Tom Hanks played Captain Richard Phillips in the 2013 drama "Captain Phillips," he put on a little bit of weight, but most notably, his face looked different. With a gray goatee and wire-framed glasses, he looked like the real-life Richard. "Captain Phillips" was based on the true story of the 2009 hijacking of the United States container ship Maersk Alabama by a crew of Somali pirates.

Tom Hanks was 32 when "The 'Burbs" came out in 1989. For his role as suspicious neighbor Ray Peterson in the comedy-thriller, Tom grew out his big, curly hair.

Tom Hanks starred as Joe Banks alongside Meg Ryan in 1990's "Joe Versus the Volcano." Joe worked a clerical job in a factory with a demanding boss and suffered from a "brain cloud." Just one year after his hair was super curly in "The 'Burbs," Tom sported a long and wavy mane for the role of Joe.

In order to prepare for the role of baseball coach Jimmy Dugan in 1992's "A League of Their Own," Tom Hanks put on 28 pounds. In 2013, Tom spoke about how he won't be gaining weight for a role again after he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. "I'm 57 and I don't think I'm going to take on any job or go on vacation again and see to it that I can gain 30 pounds," he told The Guardian.

In 2007's "Charlie Wilson's War," Tom Hanks played the titular naval officer and former 12-term Democratic U.S. Representative from the 2nd district in Texas. As Charlie opposite Julia Roberts, Tom wore a white tuxedo and a side-slicked hairstyle. When he wasn't dressed up formally, he wore suspenders and ties and looked very conservative.

In 2020's World War II-set drama "Greyhound" — which he also wrote — Tom Hanks slipped on a uniform and transformed into U.S. Navy Commander Ernest Krause. While the character was fictitious, the film was actually inspired by true events.

Emmy winner says it's fine for straight actors to play gay characters, more news

Having played several gay characters on film, Stanley Tucci has no issue with straight actors playing someone with a different sexuality. "Obviously, I believe that's fine," he said on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs. Stanley, who is straight, played gay characters in the 2006's "The Devil Wears Prada" and 2020's "Supernova." "I am always very flattered when gay men come up to me and talk about [my role in] The Devil Wears Prada or they talk about Supernova, and they say that, 'It was just so beautiful,' you know, 'You did it the right way," he said. "Because often it's not done the right way." In weighing on the hot-button topic, the "Hunger Games" star said actors are malleable and able to play different characters. "An actor is an actor is an actor," he protested. "You are supposed to play different people. You just are. That's the whole point of it."

Responding to rash of concert incidents

Try and die? While bemoaning a recent lack of concert etiquette, Adele issued a threat to fans who attempt to throw things on stage. During her Las Vegas residency show, the Grammy winner asked, "Have you noticed how people are forgetting f****** show etiquette at the moment and just throwing s*** onstage? Have you seen that?" Just last week, Bebe Rexha required stitches after a fan threw a cell phone at her face during a show; a few days later Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the face with a rogue, airborne bracelet; in London, a fan tossed her mother's ashes on stage while Pink performed; over the past weekend, a sex toy was chucked at Lil Nas X. Adele wasn't about to suffer the same fate. "I f****** dare you, I dare you to throw something at me," she told her crowd. "I'll f****** kill you." Adele means business!

Home situation

He's had enough. Kevin Costner's estranged wife has overstayed her welcome in their family home and he wants her out by next week, new court documents state. Although a prenuptial agreement requires Christine Baumgartner to vacate the property within 30 days of a split, she has refused. The "Yellowstone" star's lawyers said Christine "grasps at straws with one baseless argument after another," which prevents the actor from residing solo in the home. The documents, obtained by People, said Kevin "respectfully requests that Christine be ordered to vacate his separate property residence forthwith and no later than July 13, 2023." The way Kevin sees it, he's just giving his ex what she wants, as she's the one who filed for divorce in early May. "For Kevin, it's pretty cut-and-dried," an insider told Us Weekly recently. "Christine wanted this split, so she should abide by the terms of their prenup [stating that she] had 30 days to move out after filing for divorce. This could be a bitter court battle. Kevin's a man of strong conviction and stubborn to the bone."

Scary night

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark rushed her 2-year-old daughter to the ER after a scary medical emergency. The former "Vanderpump Rules" stars posted a video of Hartford Charlie Rose, 2, breathing heavy while sleeping. "Took her to the ER around 6:00 am. She has some breathing issues, possibly high asthma and lots of mucus in her lungs and a high fever," Beau posted on Instagram. "She's on her second 'breathing face thing machine,' with something that will open her lungs up more. Now we're just waiting, hoping this works the second time." After six hours at the hospital, the family returned home. "Her little belly breathing is what everyone was worried about," he explained. "So she's going to be on albuterol for the next two days with this breathing thing. But we might have to go back again tonight if she gets worse again." Stassi echoed much of her husband's statement while posting about their daughter, too, penning that it was a "long scary day at the hospital." The tot is "such a little solder," Stassi said on her Instagram Story. 

Unsupportive parent

Michael Jordan is hoping his son's romance with Larsa Pippen is in the fourth quarter and nearly over. Marcus Jordan, 32, began dating the "Real Housewives of Miami" star, 48, earlier this year. The romance caught much attention because of both the age difference and because Larsa was previously married to Michael Jordan's longtime teammate Scottie Pippen. On July 2, a photographer saw Michael and asked whether he approves of his son's relationship with Larsa. The basketball great and former team owner gave a one word, easy-to-comprehend answer. "No," he replied. Interestingly, just last month Marcus told Us Weekly that his family was coming around on the romance. "They're warming up to it," he said. "We're super private as a family, but they know I'm an adult. They trust that I can navigate that universe. But it's definitely been a learning curve for sure."

Relationship questioned

On the heels of Kyle Richards' separation from her husband of 27 years, fans are wondering if the reality TV star's relationship with country singer Morgan Wade played a role. Kyle and Morgan have grown very, very close over the past 18 months. Whereas Kyle's estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, has sparingly appeared on her social media in 2023, Morgan is often included in public posts. Bravo fans are beginning to suspect that Kyle and the critically acclaimed singer are more than just friends. "I guess you ain't even hiding your relationship anymore," one person commented on Kyle's Instagram. Another said, "She's telling us without telling us." A third said, "You have a girlfriend now?" Having met in February 2022, the women have been fairly inseparable. Not only have Kyle and Morgan traveled together and met each other's families, the women have recently been wearing what appear to be matching rings. Kyle and Morgan also have matching heart tattoos, and Page Six said Morgan got a "K" tattooed on her inner elbow within the last year. In addition, Kyle's half-sister, Kathy Hilton, recently alluded to a "secret" between Morgan and the former child actress. Still, Kyle and Mauricio haven't completely pulled the plug on their marriage. On Monday, July 3, they issued a joint statement to deny reports that they're "divorcing." "We have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously," the duo said. People magazine reports that Kyle and Mauricio are still living together in the same home.

Star wrestler says he's 6 months sober after adopting major lifestyle changes

After years and years of pain and surgeries, Hulk Hogan finally got a stranglehold on his health. 

While speaking to Men's Health for a "Gym & Fridge" video, the Hulkster recalled drinking "three Miller Lites and [taking] two Tylenols" before nearly every wrestling match of his career. After the post was over, his "meal" consisted of "probably 12 Miller Lites."

He's now six months sober and doesn't even take Tylenol.

"I don't drink alcohol at all," he revealed. "I just got tired of it. It got to be a way to numb me a little bit, because I had a bunch of crazy business problems and personal stuff going on. And I caught myself after I would train, getting too aggressive once again with alcohol. So I just had to stop it."

Hulk, 69, limits himself to water and organic, dairy-free food, a diet he's maintained for a few years. Since making the lifestyle change, he's lost 40 pounds.

"About 15 years ago my body kinda shut down on me. I had several knee surgeries, and then after wrestling 40 years almost, my body shut down on me," he said. "I went in for one back surgery and it was turned into 10 back surgeries. Both knees needed to be replaced. Both hips were replaced. A couple surgeries on my face from getting my orbital socket broken a couple times. And it ended up being 25 or 26 surgeries, or a couple more, over a 10- or 12-year period." 

He added, "So it changed the game on me. It made everything different for me. And I changed my whole lifestyle because at the time, being in so much pain and getting older and older I couldn't carry that much weight. When you are sedentary and not wrestling or moving every night, it's easy to put weight on. So, I decided to drop weight and get down to about 265. Actually, the last time I weighed 265 was in ninth grade."

While the surgeries have corrected his health issues, Hulk still likes to feel a little pain from time to time. 

"I feel great ya know," he told the outlet. "Without all the other extra stuff, you actually feel alive, because a little bit of pain makes you know you are alive."

Madonna's health is doing her no favors. When the pop star announced her 84-date global "Celebration" world tour earlier this year, she promised to give fans "the show they have been waiting for." It seems very likely that her fans are going to have to wait a little longer amid Madonna's recent health emergency. Page Six reported that the pop music icon was found unresponsive on June 24 and was subsequently rushed to a New York City hospital. There, she was reportedly intubated in the intensive care unit "for at least one night before having the tube removed." The report noted that the pop star was alert, responding and no longer in the ICU. On the heels of the health crisis, the "Celebration" tour was put on pause until further notice (a call that was not made by Madonna). In fact, she's still consumed by "Celebration" and has reportedly "rejected a proposal to scale back on the tour."

On July 5, TMZ reported that the "Like a Virgin" singer isn't exactly making leaps and bounds in her recovery. She's said to still be "weak and very tired" and spending a significant amount of time in bed.

There's growing suspicion that Madonna was basically trying to defy Father Time before her "Celebration" world tour. Sources close to the singer said she's been eyeing the successful tours of Taylor Swift and Pink and hoping to compete. "She is the one constantly pushing herself, but she has to realize that, while she is as good as the people she is working with, many of them are a fraction of her age and without her history of injuries," one of the 64-year-old star's friends told Page Six. "Of course, there are other acts older than her still on the road, but they aren't dancing and performing like she does."

There's a report that Madge was even in the studio with Katy Perry the same day she fell ill and collapsed. "She was working overtime, but she clearly burnt herself out and people around her have been politely reminding her that she is not 45 anymore, let alone 25. She needed to pace herself. Pushing herself so hard was extremely risky," a source told The Sun on July 2. "Many of us feel the constant remarks about her age have put pressure on her to compete, so we are relieved that she has been forced to take time out and put her health first. People were really worried about her." Still, a source told Page Six that Madonna remains totally absorbed with the tour and has already "rejected a proposal to scale back on the tour."

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed her hospitalization but shied away from discussing the alleged intubation. "On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU," he shared in an Instagram post. "Her health is improving however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected." He added, "At his time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour."

On June 29, CNN reported that Madonna had been discharged from the hospital and had been transported to her New York City home via a private ambulance. "She's in the clear," the source told CNN. According to reports, Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, was by her mom's side throughout the medical incident. Similarly, several of Madonna's six children have been photographed visiting the home over the past few days. Page Six noted that a police escort was seen outside the singer's property.

While several friends are painting a hopeful picture of Madonna amid her recent hospitalization for a serious bacterial infection, TMZ says the pop star is far from out of the woods. In fact, the webloid said she's still bedridden and "vomiting uncontrollably." Still, Madonna fought against visiting with medical professionals despite her collapse last weekend. The webloid says Madonna's assistant was with her when she became unresponsive that fateful day. Her vomiting began immediately and hasn't really subsided. The infection is still "wreaking havoc on her body." On June 29, People magazine reported that Madonna is "feeling better and following doctor's orders and resting."

Madonna was "strenuously rehearsing" for her upcoming Celebration Tour prior to her hospitalization, Page Six said. A source told the outlet that the pop legend had been "putting in 12-hour days" for weeks while rehearsing at Long Island's rarely-used Nassau Coliseum. The venue, the former home of the New York Islanders, had a private event scheduled over the past weekend, so Coliseum employees didn't think anything of it when Madonna wasn't around for rehearsals. Little did they know she was intubated in the ICU.

Just hours before collapsing from a serious bacterial infection, Madonna appeared perfectly fine. The Daily Mail published photos of Madonna strolling around New York City on the afternoon of June 24. In fact, the pop star visited the Karl Lagerfeld exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum in Manhattan with her assistant and one of her dancers that day. In the images, the singer dressed down in sweatpants, sneakers, sunglasses, and a baseball cap.

In the lead up to her hospitalization, Madonna ignored tell-tale signs that healthy issues were rearing their head. TMZ reported that the "Vogue" singer "battled a low-grade fever for a month before her body could no longer take it, collapsing and needing serious medical care." Madonna, the report states, was so busy preparing for her tour that she "mostly ignored her symptoms and never got checked out by a doctor." In Madonna's mind, her tour came first, and her health seemingly came second. Although the tour has been postponed, Madonna's inner circle is concerned that she might try to rush back, which may very well cause a health setback. TMZ said, "Madonna's doctors, and those around her, are worried she's going to go against doctor's orders and push to start her world tour ASAP … even though she's going to be required to rest up and recover for a while." Page Six said the decision to postpone the tour was made by Madonna's management team and not the pop star herself. "Madonna doesn't want to cancel her tour. She was having a blast in rehearsals and wants to get back to it when she's ready," a source said.

On June 28, the same day news of Madonna'a hospitalization broke, Rosie O'Donnell, the pop star's longtime pal, posted a throwback photo of the two doing yoga poses on a 1998 episode of the "Rosie O'Donnell Show." In providing a very brief update on the Material Girl's health, Rosie wrote on instagram, "She's feeling good 👍🏽 #madonna #love." Following the post, fans swarmed Rosie's Instagram feed to indicate that they've been worried about Madonna.

After Madonna's manager confirmed that the "Papa Don't Preach" songstress spent time in the ICU, a slew of her celebrities friends reacted with sadness and hope. Rita Wilson commented, "Sending Madonna my prayers for a speedy recovery." Rosie Perez said, "Sending prayers and support." Zooey Deschanel said, "Hope she feels better very soon!." Isla Fisher added, "Sending her so much love from us." Kathy Griffin came out swinging for Madonna, too, indicating she doesn't have any insight into the situation, but believed hateful comments were nothing more than "ageism and misogyny." "I don't like how people are already piling on and making fun of her being obviously quite ill, or collapsed, and she'll be fine – we don't know anything yet," Griffin said in a TikTok video. "I'm going to be honest, I think a lot of it is ageism and misogyny. Sorry, but as a 62-year old chick I deal with it all the time, and she's freaking Madonna!" The comedian added, "I don't care about her fillers; they're going to go away if she feels like it or not. I care about her health. I'm glad she can go back on this tour, and the tour is the greatest hits and she should be great."

Debi Mazar, one of Madonna's best friends, called the music superstar the "strongest gal I know." The "Entourage" actress' words come on the heels of Madonna's recent hospitalization and multi-day ICU stay. "Get well Sis! Rest,Restore,Reboot! Strongest gal I know…," Debi wrote on Instagram alongside a sepia-toned throwback photo. She added, "To all of her fans- Madonna is on the mend & home resting! #Warrior #Lioness."

'Melrose Place' star 'off the wagon' again following 20 rehab stints: Report

Worry is mounting after new images showed Heather Locklear looking disheveled while walking along an elevated ledge — the images come as a source says the once-sober "Melrose Place" star has reportedly fallen "off the wagon."

"Heather is drinking," a source told the Daily Mail, who published the aforementioned disturbing photos. "The family is very worried. Everyone feels helpless."

While several of the images show Heather looking distressed, video made things worse, as she was recorded walking along the elevated ledge of an office building in Malibu, Calif.  Heather had to steady herself by holding on to pillars in order to avoid a steep drop onto the asphalt. She was talking to herself in another video. 

"Tequila has always been her drink," a source said. "She can't stay away from it."

An insider also alleged that the actress "obsesses over her weight" and is taking the popular diabetes drug Ozempic to shed some pounds. Thus far, she's apparently down 40 pounds. 

The "Spin City" star has battled demons for years, and People magazine reported in 2019 that Heather had been to rehab "more than 20 times." She has gotten sober several times over the years. 

In 2006, after splitting from rocker ex-husband Richie Sambora, Heather was arrested for driving under the influence. In February 2018 police came to her home following a fight with her boyfriend. Once police officers arrived and tried to take Heather in for domestic violence, she allegedly became combative and attacked a cop. A few months after that, she was booked on two counts of misdemeanor battery upon an officer and emergency personnel following a drunken incident at her home.

The two incidents sandwiched an involuntary psychiatric hold at a Los Angeles hospital.

"Heather got off so easy with no probation or accountability after beating up cops and then threatening EMT ambulance drivers," the insider told the Daily Mail. "The no accountability has allowed her to continue to hide out on top of her mountain estate and drink her tequila body into a much larger unhappier figure."

Amid her struggles, Heather's fiancé, Chris Heisser, is doing his best to keep her afloat, but "he is battling alcohol too," the source said, dubbing Heather's behavior "unfair." 

"[Chris] has to drive her for mandatory errands and try to sustain his career while lying to family and friends consistently hiding her alcohol and drug problems," the insider claimed. "[The couple] told friends she has been drinking again months ago and would return to rehab to no avail."

Former 'Good Morning America' host just handled partner's shaming comments in the best way

Keke Palmer is making no apologies for an outfit she wore in Las Vegas over the weekend to an Usher concert — this after her boyfriend made some unsavory comments about her fashion choice. 

On Wednesday, July 5, a video showing Usher serenading the "Hustlers" actress began making the rounds on the Internet. That was all Keke's man, Darius Daulton Jackson, needed to see.

"It's the outfit tho.. you a mom," he tweeted, insinuating that his lady should be wearing something more conservative, given that fact that they welcomed a child in February. 

After fans came to Keke's defense and ripped Darius, he doubled down on his thoughts. 

"We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn't want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is," he tweeted. "This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe."

He ended his message with by saying, "I rest my case."

It seems that the shade toward Darius was too much more him to handle, as he reportedly deleted his social media.

Still, the "True Jackson, VP" actress wasn't about to be fazed by the drama. Although she's not directly responded to her boyfriend's comments about the sheer Givenchy dress, she did take to Instagram to post images from that evening.

"I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late!," she captioned a series of snaps. "I am telling y'all right now, if you haven't seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer."

After the post, the "Nope" star received support from Usher, too. 

"The Big Boss!! Thank U for coming," she commented on Keke's Instagram. Fans also came to her defense.

"YES MAAM!!!! You don't criticize the mother of your children publicly. End of discussion," one person said. Another added, "Cheers to the women after they have a baby still dressing tf up for themselves and not conforming to what society deems acceptable as a mother."

The status of Darius and Keke's relationship isn't known, but they no longer follow each other on Instagram.

On June 13, Kim Zolciak's lawyer released a statement to People magazine alleging that the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum's estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, emotionally abused her for years: "The emotional and mental abuse Kim has suffered from this man for so many years has taken a toll on her and, most heartbreakingly, their children," the lawyer said. The reality star and the former professional football player have been fighting for custody of their four minor children. (Kroy adopted Kim's two older daughters from previous relationships, but they're both adults now.)

On June 9, Page Six reported that, according to a source, Irina Shayk "was throwing herself" at Tom Brady at a celeb-stuffed wedding in Sardinia, Italy, in late May. "She followed him around all weekend," the source said. But according to the New York Post's gossip column, the football star told a friend he "wasn't interested" in the model. Irina's rep, meanwhile, slammed the account of what went down between the beauty and the former NFL quarterback, telling Page Six and other media outlets, "This story is completely false. It is a totally malicious and fictional account of the [weekend]." A DailyMail.com source, meanwhile, insisted that Irina and Tom are "just friends" and have "a purely platonic relationship."

On June 8 — after Bill Murray and Kelis were seen together several times in London — The U.S. Sun reported that the "Ghostbusters" actor and the "Milkshake" singer are dating. "They've met up in the States before … and now are meeting up in London while they're both here. The following day, The Sun reported that, according to a source, Liam and Kate "never lost contact" after they split earlier this year. "It was never like they had a blazing row. When they split last month, they honestly thought it was for the best, but after a few weeks, he realized he'd made a mistake and wanted to give things another go. Liam's schedule is packed for the second half of 2023 but they are both on the same page and want to make it work," the source said.

On June 8 — after a video of Måneskin frontman Damiano David kissing a mystery woman hit TikTok — the Italian singer took to his Instagram Story to claim that he and his long-term girlfriend, model and activist Giorgia Soleri, had called it quits several days earlier. "I am very sorry this video came out, it was not how I wanted to handle the situation and it was my mistake," he wrote in Italian, adding that there were "no betrayals of any kind" during the relationship. "I hope this doesn't affect Giorgia's image and that you can respect the delicacy of this moment," he concluded, according to People magazine.

Eminem's adopted daughter, Alaina Scott, married long-term partner Matt Moeller in Detroit on June 9. "Simply one of the best days of my life. In this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours," the bride captioned a slideshow of wedding photos on Instagram. She and Matt got engaged in December 2021.

Earlier this year, Eminem's other daughter — Hailie Jade — got engaged to her boyfriend of more than six years.

Pop star allegedly assaulted by NBA rookie's security team, police report filed

A member of NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama's security team allegedly assaulted Britney Spears in a Las Vegas restaurant on Wednesday night.

TMZ reports that Britney and her crew, which included husband Sam Asghari, arrived for dinner at Catch restaurant inside the Aria hotel at 8:30 p.m. on July 5. After being "swarmed by fans" upon entering the casino, the "Toxic" singer made the short walk across the hotel lobby into Catch. As soon as she got inside the popular restaurant, Brit spotted Wemby, who is in Vegas to play for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA's Summer League.

Britney, it seems, is a big fan of the recent No. 1 overall pick and wanted a picture together. After making her way to the 7'5" Frenchman, Britney reportedly tapped him on the shoulder. It was then that the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs allegedly "backhanded" Britney and caused her to fall to the ground. Her glasses were knocked off in the process. 

In the aftermath of the chaos, Britney returned to her table. Soon after, the alleged assailant came over and apologized. The security man also said he didn't know who Britney was when he reportedly slapped her.

"You understand how it is when you're being swarmed by fans," he allegedly said, according to TMZ.

Britney accepted the apology and her security team hashed it out with Victor's security team. Before the evening was over, her security team filed a police report for alleged battery with the Metropolitan Police Department. 

Victor is already one of my most hyped rookies in recent decades and is believed to be a generational talent. There was speculation last NBA season that teams would intentionally lose in order to increase their odds of being able to draft Wemby. He ultimately went to the Spurs.

Despite not having played an NBA regular season game yet, Wemby has already become a celebrity in his own right, as he's been pictured with Travis Scott, Michael Douglas and LeBron James. He also took batting practice at Yankee Stadium and threw out the first pitch before a game. 

"It was a pleasure meeting you at a couple @metropolitans92 games in Paris last year," Michael Douglas wrote alongside a June 23 picture. "Wishing you all the best for an incredible career with the @spurs!"
