Oscar winner, 81, details 'completely unexpected' relationship with sports star 28 years younger

Barbra Streisand's relationship with tennis champ Andre Agassi was long portrayed as mysterious — if not scandalous, given their 28-year age gap — after she was first spotted attending his matches in the early '90s. But as the Oscar winner writes in her new memoir, "My Name Is Barbra" — released in November 2023 — the connection she shared with Andre was "fun," if "completely unexpected."

It was also meaningful enough that the two went to great lengths to see each other, regularly dodging throngs of paparazzi — sometimes in the most creative ways. In a excerpt from the book published by DailyMail.com, Barbra recalls that the two were so hounded by the press when she went to see Andre compete at Wimbledon in 1993 that he found a clever albeit uncomfortable way to avoid nosy photographers when they hung out together at night in London.

One evening, she writes, "When Andre joined us for dinner, his driver actually hid him in the trunk of the car." At the time, Barbra was 51 and Andre was 23.

Barbra Streisand and Andre Agassi first became friendly courtesy of a mutual friend: hotel mogul Steve Wynn. According to Barbra's November 2023 memoir, Steve told her the young tennis star "admired" her.

"Since I don't follow sports, I hadn't heard of him," she writes. "Steve explained that he was a tennis champion who was going to be playing at Wimbledon, so I said, 'Oh, wish him well from me.'"

Andre later contacted Barbra directly to tell her how much he'd enjoyed her 1991 film "Prince of Tides."

"We ended up talking for two hours," she writes, adding that she still didn't know what he looked like. When she saw him play at Wimbledon on TV, however, she was impressed. He was "nice-looking, and had good teeth!" she writes. He also had his first Grand Slam win, so Barbra congratulated him via telegram.

Recalling how their friendship deepened, Barbra Streisand writes in her November 2023 memoir that Andre Agassi was "smart, and even more appealing to me, he was emotionally wise beyond his years." The singer, now 81, also maintains she and Andre, 53, were just friends, though that didn't stop her from wanting to impress him.

"I remember playing tennis with him as my partner in doubles (don't laugh)," she writes, "and I was trying so hard that I tore my meniscus. I actually heard it pop, but I didn't want to stop, even to ice it, because I didn't want to look like a wimp."

Andre's also referred to his bond with Barbra as a "friendship" despite the dating rumors that followed them for years. He recalled the intense press scrutiny of their relationship in his 2009 memoir, "Open."

"She arrives at Centre Court to watch me play and there is practically a flurry of trumpets. Celebrities attend Wimbledon all the time, but Barbra's appearance causes a stir like none I've seen," Andre writes, per DailyMail.com. "Reporters harass her, then later pester me about her, and the tabloids take great pains to dissect and belittle our relationship, which is nothing more than a passionate friendship."

Andre Agassi also admitted he and Barbra Streisand got a kick out of the "public outcry" over their relationship.

"More often than not, Barbra and I laugh at the shock and scandal our dates cause," the tennis star writes in 2009's "Open." "We agree that we're good for each other, and so what if she's 28 years older?" The two were "simpatico, and the public outcry only adds spice to our connection," he continues.

"It makes our friendship feel forbidden, taboo — another piece of my overall rebellion. Dating Barbra Streisand is like wearing Hot Lava."

While he and Barbra maintained their secretly G-rated friendship, Andre married Brooke Shields in 1997. They divorced two years later. He's been married to fellow tennis great Steffi Graf since 2001.

Barbra Streisand's November 2023 memoir also covers her long relationship with husband James Brolin, who she met on a blind date in 1996 — and whose sleepy, romantic comment indirectly inspired an Aerosmith song.

According to Barbra, the two were drifting off to sleep one night when James said, "I don't want to fall asleep." She asked why and he explained, "'Cause I'll miss you.'"

"What a beautiful, poetic thing to say," she writes. "And it captured a moment of complete bliss … physical, emotional, spiritual." Barbra says she shared his moving comment with Barbara Walters during an interview on "20/20" in 1997 and it caught the attention of songwriter Diane Warren, who'd been watching the show.

Diane then funneled James's words into what became one of Aerosmith's biggest hits, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing."

Trump hung up on TV star he assumed voted for Biden: Report

New phone, who dis? Back in 2018, Kim Kardashian famously met with then-President Donald Trump in the Oval Office about pardoning Alice Johnson, a woman who'd been sentenced to life in prison on a first-time drug charge. The POTUS eventually agreed with Kim and pardoned Alice.

A new book claims Kim tried to push her luck a bit with Trump three years later, but he wasn't having it because he assumed she didn't vote for him in the 2020 election. In fact, he reportedly hung up on her.

In his new book, "Tired of Winning," ABC News' Johnathan Karl claims Donald Trump agreed to pardon Alice Johnson but he also wanted something in return from Kim Kardashian: her presumed influence with professional athletes.

"A source familiar with the conversations tells me Trump listened to her requests [for clemency] and demanded a straight-up quid pro quo," Johnathan writes, according to excerpts of the book obtained by Axios. "He would grant the commutations, he told Kardashian, if she leveraged her celebrity connections to get football stars who were friends of hers to come visit him at the White House."

Kim, it seems, was actually on board.

"Kardashian actually tried to do what Trump demanded, seeing it as a small price to pay to get justice for people she believed were serving unjust sentences. But all the players she approached declined," the book claims. "Trump had become too toxic. In the final two weeks of his presidency, nobody wanted to be anywhere near him."

A few months after Donald Trump lost the 2020 election and left the White House, he retreated to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. At this point, Kim Kardashian was gaining a reputation for helping inmates, and she was hoping for Trump's endorsement of a clemency plea for another prisoner. This time, the controversial politician wasn't having it.

Johnathan Karl writes that the reality star called Mar-a-Lago and "quickly received a call back from Trump."

"Hell no, the former president told her. He wouldn't do it. 'You voted for Biden and now you come asking me for a favor?' Trump told her," the book claims. "After a few more choice words, the line went dead. Trump had hung up on her."

Kim Kardashian has never publicly stated whom she voted for in the 2020 election, but she hinted that her ballot was cast for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

"Disgraceful and talentless John Carl [sic] is a back-bencher who could never get his own show for obvious reasons. TV star rushed to emergency room 'desperate for help' and 'pleading' for a doctor reveals new health update

"The Girls Next Door" alum Kendra Wilkinson was rushed to the emergency room in September after suffering an apparent panic attack.

The attack — which was reportedly triggered by lack of sleep — came shortly after the former Playboy model spoke candidly about her fragile mental state. Her kids, she said, may be the only reason she's "alive."

Us Weekly reported on Sept. 15 that, according to a source, she was "doing much better" and was "going to be fine."

Nearly two months later on Nov. 10, Kendra spoke out publicly to share a health update following treatment.

Kendra Wilkinson made the decision to get medical treatment after she began feeling overwhelmed with her life, her job in real estate and the two children — Hank Jr., 13, and Alijah, 9 — she shares with ex-husband Hank Baskett, who was by her side when she arrived at a Los Angeles hospital in September.

According to TMZ, the "Kendra on Top" star was "desperate for help when she entered the emergency room, pleading for someone to get her to a doctor."

On Nov. 10, Kendra Wilkinson took to Instagram to share this black-and-white photo and to publicly update fans on her health.

"I just recently finished treatment for my depression and anxiety. Beyond happy to share this information since there were articles written about it. Might as well give you the full update. Lol," she began her post.

"Being a solo act can get heavy sometimes and life can get challenging but I do the best I can and push with positive energy," she continued.

"Back on my feet. Happily working in real estate, taking care of my babies and myself. Great friends. Heart is full of gratitude!!!"

Previously on Sept. 15, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, Kendra Wilkinson was "doing much better" and was "going to be fine."

According to the source, the reality star had been going through "a period of worry about the stability of her family" as she continued to "thrive" while working in the real estate business. "It's a lot for any single working mom, but she wants to provide for her kids and set the best example for them," the source said. "There's a lot of pressure, and she's re-identifying herself as a mom, a working woman — and not a Playboy model and celebrity. And she's doing a fantastic job."

"She's a rock for her family and it can be overwhelming for any parent. She's working proactively to make the real estate business thrive. She's determined, and more positive things are coming," the insider added, noting that Kendra's ex-husband, Hank Baskett, and their two children "were there by her side" during her hospital visit.

"There's a healthy balance between her and Hank. They are really hands-on and family-oriented. She was happy he was there with the kids and felt grateful," the source said.

"They get along well. They're healthy co-parents and focused on their kids," the insider noted of the former couple.

Kendra Wilkinson found fame in 2005 as one of Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner's girlfriends on "The Girls Next Door." Four years later, she married former NFL player Hank Baskett. They went on to chronicle their marriage and family life on their own reality show, "Kendra on Top," from 2012 to 2017. It wasn't meant to be for the two stars, though: They split in 2019 after 10 years of marriage.

Kendra returned to reality television in 2021 with "Kendra Sells Hollywood," which centered on her life as a realtor.

In June 2023, Kendra Wilkinson opened up about struggling with her identity in the wake of her divorce from Hank Baskett. The loss of love and work on TV "triggered my depression," she said during an appearance on PodcastOne's "On Display with Melissa Gorga."

"I went through a divorce, lost everything I knew, which was my TV show. I had a TV show every year until my divorce," she said. "Then my divorce happened and all of a sudden, now I'm left with no marriage, I'm left with no show, I had to move into a little house — I didn't understand what was going on and all of a sudden I had to do some intense healing."

Kendra Wilkinson was 19 when she met Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. Soon after, she started starring on "The Girls Next Door." For a decade and a half of her adult life, invasive camera crews were all she ever really knew. When that way of life came to an end in 2017, she felt "lost."

Her children saved her life.

"For years, I didn't have fame," she said on Melissa Gorga's podcast. "I didn't have everything I knew for a really long time. I didn't know who I was. I was so lost." During that time, it was "impossible to be happy."

"I didn't even know how to be happy. My kids were what gave me the purpose," she said, adding that Hank Jr., 13, and Alijah, 9, pushed her to "stay alive, to keep going, to drive them to hockey and basketball and smile and watch them do everything."

"They're the ones who kept my heart beating," she added.

Monaco's most senior royals, Prince Albert II and wife Princess Charlene, have been facing speculation about their 12-year marriage for months amid reports that they're a couple in name only and that the princess had secretly moved to Switzerland.

But in late October 2023, Albert and Charlene shared a public display of affection that was as sweet and geniune as it was rare, pouring more cold water on claims their marriage is in trouble.

During the Rugby World Cup final between New Zealand and South Africa, which was played in France on Oct. 28, Zimbabwe born, South Africa-raised Charlene celebrated her home country's victory alongside her husband, hugging him as he gazed at her affectionately during the match, seen here.

In the wake of reports in multiple European media outlets claiming Prince Albert II of Monaco and wife Princess Charlene are a couple in name only and that Charlene quietly moved from Monaco to Switzerland, the royals hit back at the narrative.

In a September interview with Italy's Corriere della Serra newspaper, Albert insisted their marriage is fine. "Charlene is always by my side," he said, pointing to a rash of recent appearances that followed claims his marriage was all but over.

"I don't understand all these rumors, which hurt me, about us," he added. "That she lives elsewhere. Lives in Switzerland. That we meet only by appointment. They're lies."

While Albert acknowledged that Charlene "had some [health] difficulties many months ago," he insisted that "now, thank goodness, she's over it and is always by my side. She supports me in leading the Principality, but we're not attached to each other 24 hours a day. We're a working couple and sometimes that only allows us to see each other at the end of a long day full of appointments."

In August 2023, reports in European publications were picked up by the British media, sparking new questions about what was going on between Prince Albert II and his wife of 12 years, Princess Charlene.

French magazine Voici reported that the royals and their twins, 8-year-old Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, vacationed together in mid-August in France's picturesque Sanguinaires archipelago at the entrance to the Gulf of Ajaccio. According to another European outlet, Germany's Bild, they enjoyed a family holiday on a yacht and appeared close.

However, Voici alleged, though Albert and Charlene are close, they're no longer a "classic couple," the publication wrote, as translated from French, adding that they remain united for the good of their kids. "Today, [they're] a couple who makes appointments to see each other," a source told the outlet.

According to an August 2023 report from Germany's Bild newspaper, Prince Albert II of Monaco and wife Princess Charlene are now just a "ceremonial couple." The outlet further reported that instead of being based at Prince's Palace in Monaco, Charlene is now living in Switzerland.

DailyMail.com reported that French magazine Voici claimed in August that Charlene has promised to return to Monaco for official occasions and is "allowed" to see her children more often.

A source alleged to Germany's Bild that "Albert and Charlene are now good partners [who] take turns taking care of the children."

In the wake of European outlets' reporting on the status of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene's marriage, Page Six reported that Charlene's personal Instagram account mysteriously disappeared amid the claims she's now living in Switzerland and not with her husband in Monaco.

According to Page Six, as of late August 2023, the mother of two's Instagram account, @hshprincesscharlene — on which she shared news about her work as a royal as well as photos of the twins she shares with Albert — appeared to have been either deleted or deactivated, as the link takes users to a "Sorry, this page isn't available" page.

Monaco's Prince Albert II and wife Princess Charlene seemed to quietly be countering August reports alleging they'd essentially split by coming together for a series of public appearances in early September 2023.

On Sept. 9, 2023, Albert and Charlene — joined by their twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella — attended the traditional Monaco picnic at Princess-Antoinette Park in Monaco. DailyMail.com reported it was their fifth appearance together in a week following multiple reports of a royal rift.

In the wake of the August 2023 reports, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene made a joint appearance at an event for the launch of TVMonaco, Monaco's first public television channel, according to a Sept. 2, 2023, post on the royal palace's Instagram page.

Three days later, they again put on a united front as they received the new French Ambassador to Monaco, Jean D'Haussonville, at the Prince's Palace — a moment captured in a photo also shared on the palace's Instagram page.

It's unclear whether the showings were effort to smooth over speculation of trouble or if they're evidence that they now have — as Bild claimed, as reported by Town & Country — a "ceremonial" relationship.

In March 2023 — after French magazine Royauté claimed that Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene were in the process of separating and the report was circulated by British tabloids — a spokesperson for Monaco's royal palace told People magazine that the "malicious rumors" about a potential breakup were "totally unfounded." A second source, meanwhile, maintained that the French tabloid's report about the separation was "made up of old stories which weren't true to begin with."

The couple had been been plagued by questions about the status of their marriage since Charlene suffered a mysterious medical crisis amid the coronavirus pandemic and spent a long period of time in her native Africa instead of in Monaco.

A wild story concerning Monaco's senior royals emerged in May 2022 when French outlet Voici reported, per DailyMail.com, that Prince Albert II had signed an "ultra-confidential contract" that required him to pay wife Princess Charlene — who was absent from Monaco and her duties for nearly a year as she faced health issues and recovered in South Africa then Switzerland — about $12 million a year to fulfill her royal duties and be by his side.

Rival publication Paris Match Belgium reported a similar story. "Of course the princess enjoys huge perks [as a royal], but ready cash is not guaranteed. She's been through a very difficult time, so it would make sense for Charlene to try and secure her own guaranteed income," a royal insider based in Monte Carlo told DailyMail.com.

But friends of the couple dismissed the reports at the time, telling Page Six that Albert wasn't paying Charlene millions to remain as his wife. "Of course she has a generous prenup, but Albert doesn't have to pay her to stay," a source close to Charlene told Page Six. "After being away for so long during her illness, Charlene is so happy to be back with Albert and the kids. They spend every weekend at their country place. Albert is fully supportive of Charlene and is also helping her with her charities."

Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene have faced reports of trouble in their marriage from day one. After they wed in July 2011, it was alleged that Charlene tried to flee multiple times before she eventually married Albert, the son of Princess Grace — the American actress born Grace Kelly — and Monaco's Prince Rainier.

According to British tabloid the Mirror, French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche reported that multiple sources had claimed that "an arrangement" was eventually reached between the bride and groom after Charlene, a former Olympic swimmer who grew up in Zimbabwe and South Africa, tried to "escape three times." Monaco's palace at one point denied the allegations, telling People magazine in a statement, "None of this is true, and we think it comes from utter jealousy."

Some reports have claimed that Charlene was rocked by allegations Albert could have more illegitimate children. He has publicly admitted paternity of daughter Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, who was born in 1992 to former waitress-turned-real estate agent Tamara Rotolo, and son Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste, who was born in 2003 to former flight attendant Nicole Coste.

Former first lady renegotiates her prenuptial agreement with Donald Trump amid his legal battles: Details

With Donald Trump facing four criminal indictments as he runs for president again, his third wife — former model and first lady Melania Trump — is making sure she takes care of herself and their son, 17-year-old Barron Trump.

A report from Page Six published on Sept. 28 claims that Melania, 53, has renegotiated her prenuptial agreement with her 77-year-old husband of 18 years.

"Over the last year, Melania and her team have been quietly negotiating a new 'postnup' agreement between herself and Donald Trump," a source told Page Six.

What she wanted and who benefits

"This is at least the third time Melania [Trump] has renegotiated the terms of her marital agreement," a source told Page Six in September.

But the source insisted that Melania isn't planning to leave Donald Trump. Her reasons for securing herself a better deal, the source explained, primarily concern her teenage son, Barron Trump.

"Melania is most concerned about maintaining and increasing a substantial trust for their son, Barron," the source explained.

A second insider further told Page Six, "I know that she wanted it to provide her with more money, and also — from what I understand — there's a specific amount at minimum that Barron is supposed to obtain."

However, the source admitted that Melania's getting something out of it too, as the newest agreement also provides additional money and property for her as well.

Page Six noted that the Trumps' reps did not reply to a request for comment on the story.

The timing and her reasons

According to Page Six's first source, the reasons Melania Trump — seen here with her husband the same year they married — allegedly renegotiated her marital agreement with Donald Trump for the third time are twofold: She did it both because the former president could, if elected in 2024, serve another term in the White House, making her first lady again, and because he's facing so many legal issues — both criminal and civil — that have financial repercussions.

"This agreement was necessary because of the current legal battles … [Donald] has suffered," the source explained — and not just the criminal indictments but the civil ones, including New York Attorney General Letitia James's $250 civil case against him and his real estate business, a court order requiring him to pay $5 million to E. Jean Carroll for defaming her and more.

"Trump remains very rich, but with mounting legal bills and judgments," the source said, explaining that a renegotiated marital agreement will "provide a more solid future" for Melania and son Barron Trump.

"It's not that she threatened to leave him," the source warned, but "it's definitely the underlying idea."

It's not her first renegotiation

It's believed that this isn't the first time Melania Trump — who signed a prenup when she married Donald Trump in 2005 — has renegotiated her marital agreement with the business mogul, reality TV star and politician.

Page Six pointed out that Washington Post writer Mary Jordan's 2020 book "The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump" reported that Melania renegotiated her prenup in 2017 — at the same time she was delaying her move to Washington, D.C., from New York City after Donald took office.

According to the book, "She wanted proof in writing that when it came to financial opportunities and inheritance, [son Barron Trump] would be treated as more of an equal to Trump's oldest three children" — Donald Trump Jr., 45, Ivanka Trump, 41, and Eric Trump, 39, who are Donald's kids with his first wife, the late Ivana Trump. Donald also has a daughter, Tiffany Trump, 29, with second wife Marla Maples, 59.

At the time the book came out, Melania's spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, branded it "yet another book about Mrs. Trump with false information and sources. It's worth noting that in 2021, Stephanie published her own Melania tell-all.

What he said about Melania's prenup

A year after marrying Melania Trump — his third wife — Donald Trump said their prenup actually made their marriage stronger.

"It's a hard, painful, ugly tool," he said, as reported by New York magazine in 2006. "Believe me, there's nothing fun about it. But there comes a time when you have to say, 'Darling, I think you're magnificent, and I care for you deeply, but if things don't work out, this is what you're going to get.'"

The details of the original prenup she signed before their 2005 wedding have not been disclosed.

Donald's prenup past: Ivana's deal

The New York Times has reported that Donald had four prenups with first ex-wife Ivana Trump (pictured), who died at 73 in 2022.

According to The Times, when Donald and Ivana settled their divorce in 1991 as he was facing financially issues, she ended up with $14 million, a 45-room mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut, an apartment in the Trump plaza and the use of their Florida home, Mar-a-lago, for one month a year. He also had to pay her about $650,000 a year in child support for their three children.

Earlier in their divorce fight, it had been revealed that the last of the former couple's four prenups was supposed to give Ivana $25 million plus the Connecticut mansion or another $12 million instead of the mansion if that property was sold before they were divorced.

A judge granted Ivana's divorce petition on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment by her husband. They were married for 13 years.

Donald's prenup past: Marla's deal

Second wife Marla Maples once told Vanity Fair her prenup negotiations with Donald Trump were "a big battle," revealing the document was given to her just a few days before their 1993 wedding.

Marla got just $2 million after they split after less than four years of marriage and one child together. According to reports, their agreement gave her $1 million if they separated within five years and another $1 million to buy a home. Marla also had to sign an NDA.

Their prenup also specified that Donald would cease his $100,000 annual child support payments for their daughter, Tiffany, when she turned 21 or if she got a full-time job, enlisted in the military or joined the Peace Corps.

Giving a cold shoulder!

We weren't wild about this September 2017 moment that saw Tiffany Trump leaving the Philipp Plein show during New York Fashion Week in a black minidress with cutouts down the shoulder and embellishments at the hemline.

Tiffany Trump attended a luncheon at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in May 2017 in this sharp ensemble. We loved the tweed coat worn over a black dress, and the all-black accessories were great choices too.

A month later, CBS Sports learned more about what happened after obtaining the star's death certificate from the Los Angeles Department of Public Health: He passed away as a result of a "cerebrovascular accident," or stroke. Secondary causes listed included atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat), high cholesterol and atherosclerosis (thickened or hardened arteries). The document also revealed that Butkus underwent coronary bypass surgery in 2001.

Empire State of climb

On Nov. 9, Jared Leto made history by climbing to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, making him the first person ever to accomplish the feat. "I made it, I'm alive, I made it to the top," the Oscar-winning actor said in an interview on "Today" after he reached the top of the 102-story building. "I was just saying I saw my mother in the window of the 80th floor and that was a nice surprise," he quipped. Jared launched his climbing mission to announce his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, is launching a world tour. "It was in celebration of the tour and doing those things that you aspire to do," he explained.

Soaring high above the Big Apple, the Empire State Building stands just over 1453 feet, including its pinnacle. Jared, 51, made the historic climb clad in a bright red jumpsuit with reflectors on the arms and legs. He was harnessed in by a series of orange and red ropes some of which matched the color his bloodied hands by the time he appeared on "Today."

"It's incredible, to watch the sun rise overlooking the city that's meant so much to me ever since I was a kid. New York's been the place you went to make your dreams come true. And as a young kid, I wanted to be an artist and New York was the place that you came to be an artist and the Empire State Building was always that symbol for me," Jared said. "I was more excited than nervous, to tell you the truth," he added. "But I have to be honest, it was very, very hard. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Just the endurance that it took, the stamina that it took, it was very sharp."

Addressing concern

Fans on social media expressed concern for Wynonna Judd's health after her seemingly shaky performance with Jelly Roll at the top of the 2023 CMA Awards in Nashville on Nov. 8. But according to Wynonna, it was just a good, old-fashioned case of nerves that caused her to clutch her fellow performer's shoulder (and keep holding it until they were finished) during their rendition of his hit, "Need a Favor."

"I'm just gonna come clean with y'all: I was so freaking nervous," Wynonna said in a video on Instagram after the show. "I got out there and I looked at Jelly Roll, I wanted it to be so good for him … could cry right now, but I'm not going to because I'm such a fan of his and he asked me to sing and I said, 'Absolutely!'" she explained. "I got out there, and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that's the bottom line. All is well," she added.

In the end, the CMAs were "so good for" Jelly Roll, who was named new artist of the year.

Health update

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter, Tallulah Willis, shared some some good news — and some not-so-good news — about her dad on the "The Drew Barrymore Show" on Nov. 8. In March 2023, Bruce's family revealed he'd been diagnosed with a form of frontotemporal dementia (FTD), after announcing in 2022 that he was suffering from aphasia and was stepping away from acting. It's since come to light that Bruce, 68, was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia (PPA), a rare and less-understood form of FTD that "affects language skills, speaking, writing and comprehension," according to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Bad news first: "What's going on with my dad, he has a really aggressive cognitive disease, a form of dementia that's very rare," Tallulah told Drew on her show, according to Today.com. As the name, primary progressive aphasia, suggests, the disorder worsens over time. (In October, the actor's close friend, "Moonlighting" creator Glenn Gordon Caron told the New York Post it's now as if Bruce is "seeing life through a screen door.")

Asked about her dad's current health, though, Tallulah was positive. "He is the same, which, I think, in this regard I've learned is the best thing you can ask for," she said. "I see love when I'm with him — and it's my dad and he loves me." The 29-year-old shared that she spends a lot of time "playing music" for Bruce, "and sitting in that and this energy of love, it's really special."

Along with her adult sisters and Bruce's wife, Emma Heming, Tallulah has been speaking openly about her dad's situation "because there's not enough information out there" about the disease, she told Drew. They hope to use "something that we're struggling with as a family," she added, to help others whose loved ones are suffering from FTD.

Mind over matter

Now in his tenth month of recovery from a snowplow accident that nearly killed him, Jeremy Renner's found his mind to be a more powerful asset than any physical treatment — and he's apparently tried them all. "I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th," the "Hawkeye" star wrote on Instagram on Nov. 6, referencing the day he was crushed by a 14,300-pound snowcat outside his home in Nevada, breaking at least 30 bones.

"Everyday, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on …," he continued. "BUT the greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better…. Be exceptional," he wrote. "I feel it's my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure. I thank you all."

Jeremy, who once joked he feels "like the Tin Man" because of all the metal plates and titanium rods he now has in his body, signed off with the hashtag, "#loveandtitanium."

Casting couch harassment

Sharon Stone says a former head of Sony Pictures exposed himself to her during a one-on-one meeting in his office early on in her Hollywood career. The Oscar nominated star shared her story publicly for this first time on Kelly Ripa's "Let's Talk Off Camera" podcast, where she recalled having been "so excited" to "meet the head of Sony" at the general meeting, which she said took place in the '80s, years before "Basic Instinct" and "Casino" put her on the map in the '90s.

According to Sharon, who did not name the executive, she was invited into his office and soon found herself being semi-swallowed up by his "very low, giant" couch as he paced around the room. Initially, she said (per Variety), he raved about her beauty. "'We haven't seen anyone like you in decades. Everybody's talking about you and look at you. You're the most articulate. You're so smart and beautiful and that hair,'" she recalled him saying.

"Then he came walking right up in front of me," Sharon continued, "… and he said, 'But first … " That's when he opened up his pants and exposed himself, "right out in my face," Sharon said. "I started laughing and crying at the same time and I couldn't stop because I became hysterical. I couldn't stop, so he didn't know what to do. So, of course, he put it away and he went through this door behind his desk, which I thought was that he left, so I didn't know what to do." Confused and upset, the young star continued sitting in the office until the man's secretary finally came in and escorted her out.

Sharon later determined it would be "a pointless exercise" to name the exec and others in the industry who sexually harassed her over the course of her career. "They know who they are," she explained, "but they 'so' know who they are that I haven't worked in 20 years."

Found liable

On Nov. 9, a New York City jury found Robert De Niro's company, Canal Productions, liable for gender discrimination and retaliation in the actor's protracted court battle against his former assistant, Graham Chase Robinson. As reported by the New York Post, Robert's company was ordered to fork over $1.2 million in damages to his ex-employee.

In her lawsuit, Chase claimed Robert was abusive at work, where he allegedly called her names and yelled at her regularly. She said he also demanded that she perform menial tasks — specifically, chores traditionally associated with women — like cleaning his sheets, even after she was promoted to a vice president position in the company. Chase further accused the star of sexually inappropriate behavior, alleging he would sometimes urinate while talking to her on the phone or direct her to scratch his back. Chase also alleged she was subjected to endless bullying from Robert's girlfriend, Tiffany Chen. When she quit in 2019, she said Robert refused to give her a referral.

The Oscar winner denied the allegations and countersued, accusing Chase of having stolen $60,000 worth of frequent flyer miles from him. In what became a heated, two-week trial to resolve both lawsuits, Robert reportedly lost his temper when he took the stand and called her claims "nonsense."

'90s singer dies at 56 from liver failure while in hospice care: Stars say goodbye to the late rocker

Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell — the voice behind hits including "All Star" and "Walkin' on the Sun" — "passed peacefully and comfortably" on Sept. 4 surrounded by family and friends at his home in Boise, Idaho, the band's manager confirmed. The Grammy nominee was 56.

Steve died from acute liver failure nearly two years after announcing his retirement. Smash Mouth's manager previously told TMZ that Steve had struggled with alcohol abuse throughout his life and was hospitalized before heading home to enter hospice care as he reached the final stage of liver failure.

In the wake of the news, fellow music stars, famous friends and other celebrities spoke out to mourn the rocker.

Former DJ, MTV "TRL" host and "Today" show star Carson Daly shared two lengthy messages about Steve Harwell on Instagram.

"I spent the morning down the rabbit hole of '90s music memories as I got the official heartbreaking news about the passing of Steve Harwell from Smash Mouth. I met Steve and the band in 1995 when I was a DJ on KOME in San Jose, California, where they're from. The band was new, unsigned and only had an EP out.

"In an attempt to help support our local band (and new party pals) we played their song 'Nervous In The Alley' 1 billion times. Things started really happening for them. Our friendship grew tighter. In 1996 I got a job doing nights at KROQ-LA (my childhood radio station and dream job) I'm pretty sure Smash Mouth literally drove me to LA from the bay in their s***** white tour van as they set up showcases to try and get a deal.

"Inside KROQ I could continue to champion the band and played 'Walking On the Sun' in a music meeting and they LOVED IT. It would be a huge hit song on the country's most influential alt rock station performed by an UNSIGNED band. Unheard of. It played regularly next to Green Day, Nirvana, No Doubt, Pearl Jam and NIN. Finally Interscope signed them and they were on their way!

"Many years went by and I was aware of Steve's darker days. Life threw him some nasty curveballs including the tragic passing of his son in 2001 and addiction issues. I always rooted and prayed for him.

"I saw him in 2016 at the 'Today' show when he performed our '90s Halloween show. We hugged like long lost bros and got caught up on each other's lives. That was the last time I saw him.

"I'll always remember all the laughs (Steve could have the room in stitches when he got on a roll, he was so quick witted) the gigs (I played guitar on stage at a show I'll never forget in San Jose) It was a magical time.

"In better days, Steve was a force of a frontman and lived the life of 50 men. He brought joy to millions with his music and his legacy will thankfully live on. I hope in his final days and hours, surrounded by family and friends, he found comfort. He's in a better place now for sure. Thanks for the good times, Steve. You're home with little Presley now. Rejoice and rest in peace."

Union finally rests: Stars react as actors strike ends

After 118 days, the actors union has struck a deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and ended the longest Hollywood strike in SAG-AFTRA's 90-year history. Since July 2023, the SAG strike shut down nearly all films and scripted TV shows, with the exception of soap operas and a handful of independent projects, which have different contracts.

Terms of the deal haven't been disclosed following the news that broke late on Nov. 8, but multiple reports indicate the agreement is for three years.

As the good news spread, a bevy of Hollywood stars publicly reacted with glee.

"Incredible. I'm so happy we were all able to come to an agreement. Let's get back to work. Let's go," "The Iron Claw" star Zac Efron told Deadline.

Brooke Shields is doing just "fine" after revealing she recently suffered a grand mal seizure. The former child star was honored at the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards in New York City on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and appeared to have fully recovered from the medial scare two months ago.

After suffering a seizure, Brooke Shields discovered the value of sodium.

"I mean, now my salt is okay," she told People magazine. "I didn't know it was all about salt and they were like, eat potato chips and I'm like, really? I didn't know the serious nature of flooding your system, flooding yourself with the necessary sodium that one needs, and how your kidneys can malfunction. I didn't know. I just kept thinking I was hydrating."

Brooke Shields hasn't indicated when exactly she suffered the seizure but notes it was before a performance of her one-woman show, "Previously Owned by Brooke Shields," at New York City's Café Carlyle. The show ran from Sept. 12 to Sept. 23.

"I was preparing for the show, and I was drinking so much water, and I didn't know I was low in sodium," she told Glamour. "I was waiting for an Uber. I get down to the bottom of the steps, and I start evidently looking weird, and [the people I was with] were like, 'Are you OK?'"

Brooke Shields doesn't remember everything from the night she suffered a grand mal seizure. The former child star recalled feeling off when she walked into New York City's L'Artusi restaurant near the site of her one-woman show.

"I go to the sommelier who had just taken an hour to watch my run-through… Everything starts to go black. Then my hands drop to my side and I go headfirst into the wall," she recalled. Soon, Brooke was "frothing at the mouth, totally blue, trying to swallow my tongue."

"The next thing I remember, I'm being loaded into an ambulance. I have oxygen on. And Bradley f****** Cooper is sitting next to me holding my hand," she said.

In the end, Brooke Shields was told she had low sodium and drank "too much water."

"I drowned myself. And if you don't have enough sodium in your blood or urine or your body, you can have a seizure," she said, before telling People magazine she's drinking less water.

If you think "President 'The Rock'" has a nice ring to it, you're not alone. According to Dwayne Johnson, multiple political parties approached him about making a White House bid in 2022. The actor and retired wrestler, 51, recently appeared on the first episode of Trevor Noah's new "What Now?" podcast, where he was asked about a 2021 poll that showed 46 percent of adult Americans would consider voting for him in a presidential election.

Dwayne joked the poll's results either meant he was a "paragon of what people would hope a leader would be" or that things in the U.S. had "gotten so bad" people were ready for a candidate who could "come in here and lay the smack down." He also revealed the political establishment took the poll pretty seriously.

"At the end of the year … in 2022, I got a visit from the parties, asking me if I was going to run and if I could run. It was a big deal. And it came out of the blue. And it was one after the other," said the "Jumanji" star, per Deadline. "They brought up that poll. They also brought up their own deep dive research that would prove, should I ever decide to go down that road, that I would be a real contender," he added, without specifying which parties contacted him.

'Surreal' experience

"It was all very surreal because that's never been my goal," Dwayne continued. "My goal has never been to be in politics. Matter of fact, there's a lot about politics that I hate."

After the 2021 poll first showed voters might really support a "Dwayne Johnson for president" campaign, the actor told USA Today he "would consider a presidential run in the future if that's what the people wanted." Ultimately, though, Dwayne said on "What Now? with Trevor Noah" that being a dad with young daughters at home makes running for office less appealing. (He also noted "the parties" began contacting him after his USA Today comments.)

"I know what it's like to be in an occupation that took me away [from parenting duties] … I don't want that for my little ones now," he explained. "And so, that was my – one of my primary discussions with the parties, who ultimately were like, 'Yeah but, the other ones have done it like this!'"

Taylor Swift returned to the stage in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Nov. 9, for her first performance in months. It was also the singer's first show since she and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce went public(-ish) with their romance — a fact that was lost on zero Swifties when she surprised the crowd by adding "Labyrinth" to her set list. The lovestruck ballad revolves around the refrain, "Uh oh, I'm falling in love / Oh no, I'm falling in love again," which Taylor delivered with an endless smile on her face, according to social media footage from the show. The moment left Taylor's fans swooning — and collectively convinced she's falling for Travis after having split from actor Joe Alwyn earlier this year.

Travis, meanwhile, arrived in Buenos Aires to see Taylor on Nov. 10, the same day her "Midnights" album snagged 2024 Grammy nominations in six categories, including the top honors, according to Entertainment Tonight. He was expected to attend her show that evening, but it was canceled due to dangerous weather and flooding.

Prison guard 'retaliation'

Savannah Chrisley claims her father, Todd Chrisley, is facing "retaliation" from prison guards over her public critiques of the penal system and her parents' living conditions behind bars. "It's been really tough [for them] since I started speaking out about everything," Savannah told Entertainment Tonight on Nov. 8. "That's been the toughest part. More so for Dad. There's been a lot of retaliation, so we have to worry [about him]."

Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley, are currently serving a combined 15-year sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion convictions. The former "Chrisley Knows Best" stars are in different states — Todd is serving his reduced 10-year sentence in Pensacola, Florida; Julie's serving her reduced five-year sentence in Lexington, Kentucky. Since they turned themselves in, Savannah and her brother, Chase Chrisley, have spoken out about the conditions in both facilities. Chase has said Todd's prison is full of black mold, while Julie's has no air conditioning.

"Right now they're trying to move him from the facility he's at now, because of the latest things that I've posted on Instagram," Savannah told ET. "And that's the tough part — the moment you start speaking out, you have to pay for it." The TV star thinks the guards at her dad's facility are considering emptying his commissary account to "starve" him, among other things. Despite that, Savannah says Todd wants her to keep speaking out.

"He and I have had the discussion [and] his exact words were, 'If I have to be uncomfortable in order to hopefully implement and force change, then I'm willing to do it,'" she said.

Domestic violence allegations

Keke Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order against Darius Jackson, the father of her son, as well as temporary sole custody of their 8-month-old son — with no visitation rights — People reported on Nov. 10. The "Nope" actress filed a request for the restraining order in Los Angeles on Nov. 9, alleging domestic violence, according to documents viewed by the outlet.

In a statement to the court, Keke cited "many instances of physical violence, including striking and grabbing me around the neck, descriptions of Darius destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting me in front of our son …," and other forms of physical and emotional abuse.

The restraining order mandates that Darius must stay at least 100 yards away from Keke and their son. A hearing in the case was set for Dec. 5, the outlet reported.

Tour bus crash update

Shania Twain said her crew is safe, but urged fans to "hold those you love" after her tour's crew bus was involved in a multi-vehicle crash while traveling to the singer's next performance destination in Canada.

"First and foremost my touring family are safe," Shania wrote in an Instagram Story on Nov. 9, one day after the accident left 13 people injured. "Anyone needing medical care is receiving great support. The local community and every single crew person has been phenomenal in the face of a very scary scenario."

The singer was not on the bus when it lost control and rolled onto its side in southeastern Saskatchewan, along the Trans-Canada Highway, Canada's Globe and Mail reported. Roads in the region were "extremely slippery Wednesday morning after rainfall and snow," the outlet noted. Local firefighters reportedly rescued people trapped inside the bus by using the emergency hatch and removing the windows, according to the outlet. Injured production crew members were reportedly treated at a nearby hospital and released.

"Hug and hold those you love," Shania added in her post. "We are doing the same!"

Grammy nods galore

Nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards were announced via livestream on Nov. 10, and SZA leads the pack, with a whopping nine nods for music from her album, "SOS," which is up for album of the year. The singer-songwriter also has a contender in both the record and song of the year categories, her single "Kill Bill." Coming in at second place with seven nominations each were Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea and Victoria Monét, while Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo each snagged six nods.

Following the announcement, Miley congratulated her fellow nominees on social media. She also praised the large number of women artists being recognized this year.

"Watching women rule the music industry makes me proud. It's fun to be nominated & exciting to win but having my music LOVED around the world is the real trophy," Miley wrote. "To my Smilers – I celebrate YOU today. Your joy is my bliss. My team + all of my collaborators are irreplaceable & priceless pieces of this puzzle. I love you all. Thank you for making my Endless Summer Vacation so sweet."

This year's nominees face off at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Feb. 4 in Los Angeles. The Recording Academy has yet to announce a host for the awards show.

A judge has sided with Katy Perry in her three-year battle over a $15 million home she purchased from the elderly founder of 1-800-Flowers.

The sale hit a speed bump when Carl Westcot claimed he lacked the mental capacity to know what he was doing, claiming he was in a "fog of painkillers" when he signed the paperwork.

However, the judge determined that "Wescott presented no persuasive evidence that he lacked capacity to enter into a real estate contract," People magazine reported.

Katy is set to testify later as part of a countersuit.

Carl Westcott, the founder of 1-800-Flowers, reportedly signed a contract to sell his "dream home" to Katy Perry in 2020. His son, Chart Westcott, later claimed that his dad quickly tried to void the deal after realizing what he'd done.

In an essay, Chart argued that his father, who's in his early 80s, sold the home while "not of sound mind" and made an "irreversible mistake during moments of medical vulnerability." He is now pushing for a law to be passed to protect the elderly from entering into bad real estate contracts.

Katy Perry and Carl Westcott were locked in a three-year battle over a Santa Barbara, California, home. In August 2020, Carl sold the home — which he'd only lived in for two months — to the pop star after he underwent a six-hour back surgery, Carl's son, Chart, claimed.

"Approximately two days later, after the fog of the opioid painkillers lifted, he realized what had happened and acted to cancel a contract that had been signed while he was not of sound mind," Chart wrote in an essay published by The Federalist on Oct. 2.

"My father wrote an email to Katy Perry's agents explaining the circumstances under which he had signed the contract. Brushing aside my father's plea, his acknowledgment of his vulnerability, and his stated inability to properly consent at the time of signing, Perry did not care. Instead, she demanded the sale of the property and threatened to sue if my father did not comply," he continued.

In late September 2023, it was reported that the real estate dispute would go to trial, but the clash had already impacted Carl Westcott.

"As the legal battle dragged on for three long years, my father's health deteriorated, leaving him bedridden. During a time when we should be cherishing our remaining moments with him, we find ourselves entangled in a fight against [Katy] Perry's swarm of lawyers to preserve our family's legacy," Chart Westcott wrote in an essay published by The Federalist on Oct. 2.

"When his time comes, I want my father to be remembered for the years he spent serving his country, his numerous successful businesses, his robust family life, and his kind, caring heart. I don't want him to be remembered as Katy Perry's latest victim," he added.

Chart Westcott argues that laws should be put in place to protect the elderly in real estate deals.

"We must ensure their voices are heard," he said of senior citizens. "My father has no voice and cannot speak clearly anymore because his mind has left him. What remains is a frail body and the beautiful, weathered soul of a man who lived a full life. My family will speak for him and for all others who find an elder family member in a similar situation."

"Ultimately, we all share this common destiny: to grow old and infirm, and eventually depart from this world. I call upon California and all other state legislatures around the country to pass the Protecting Elder Realty for Retirement Years (PERRY) Act to give any party in a contract for sale of a personal residence, in which one party is over the age of 75, at least a 72-hour cool-down period in which either party has the right to rescind the contract," Chart continued. "This would protect senior citizens from making an irreversible mistake during moments of medical vulnerability and would give their loved ones time to make sure they are making the right choice."

Following the judge's ruling, Katy Perry's attorney told People magazine, "Today's proposed decision is clear — the judge found that Mr. Westcott could not prove anything other than he was of perfectly sound mind when he engaged in complex negotiations over several weeks with multiple parties to transact a lucrative sale of the property that netted him a substantial profit. The evidence shows that Mr. Westcott breached the contract for no other reason than he had changed his mind. We look forward to wrapping this matter up at the scheduled damage trial phase set for February 13 and 14, if not before."

Chart Westcott also told the magazine, "While we do not agree with Judge Lipner's ruling and wish he had spelled our father's name correctly in his ruling, we accept it. Katy Perry will now have to testify, in person, on damages and the contradictory claims she has made over lost income for the rental of my father's home. While this has been a long road, the fight for my father is not over and we will continue to represent him and his legacy of incredible achievements."

Katy Perry never intended to live in the home in question: She intended to take on tenants. She's seeking more than $5 million in damages for allegedly missing out on rental income.

It isn't the "Firework" singer's first real estate kerfuffle. Back in 2015, she and the Catholic Church made headlines when she purchased the Order of the Most Holy and Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary's convent in the hills of Los Angeles from the L.A. archdiocese for $14.5 million, prompting the nuns who owned the convent since the early '70s to protest.

TV star 'barked' at a woman during ru-in over her dog: Report

Tony Danza is being criticized for his alleged behavior involving a dog in New York City.

According to a Nov. 10 report from Page Six, the "Who's the Boss?" star let his feelings be known after a black Lab got in his way near his home in the city's Upper West Side neighborhood.

This alleged bad behavior follows an incident earlier this year in which Tony was publicly shamed for his treatment of a reporter.

A source told Page Six that Tony Danza was seen in his New York City neighborhood "pushing his way through anything and anyone in his path" when he "barked at a petite woman walking her dog."

Tony allegedly uttered, "Get your dog out of my way!"

The woman, seemingly a fierce New Yorker, didn't back down, shooting back, "Tony Danza, stop being an a******!"

While the woman stands by her account of what happened, a Tony Danza pal called the story much ado about nothing.

"Tony saw a good-sized dog coming towards him and he knows the dogs in NYC have the right of way!" the source told Page Six. "He moved over to let the dog pass and the woman didn't pull back on the leash and the dog continued to come towards him. He had to jump over the dog to get out of the way."

The doggie dustup occurred about six months after Tony Danza was called "unkind" and "condescending" for his behavior during a red carpet interview with a reporter.

During the opening night of the Broadway show "New York, New York," the "Taxi" actor told a reporter who was excited about the evening to "relax a little," telling him, "You're more excited than we are. Take it easy."

The reporter then asked Tony a Big Apple-themed question to tie in with the Broadway show. Tony leaned in, touched the man's face and said, "You know what you've got to do, buddy? You've got to come up with better questions." He then walked away.

The reporter, Rye Myers, later said Tony called to apologize.

"I just wanted to let you know that I did hear from Tony Danza earlier today," Rye said on TikTok. "He called me to apologize and squash the beef. It was great to hear from him and certainly much appreciated."

Tony Danza made news recently because of a romance he had decades ago.

In John Stamos's new memoir, "If You Would Have Told Me" — which hit bookshelves on Oct. 24 — the "Full House" actor recalled being in "overwhelming" agony when he discovered then-girlfriend Teri Copley in bed with Tony in the '80s.

"Seeing him, realizing it was him and stuff, it was hard. I mean, it was awful," John told People magazine. "At first I was like, 'I'm going to kick his…' I didn't know it was [Tony] yet. I see his abs. I'm like, 'Maybe not. F*** it.' And I ran. … But I remember running down the driveway with tears streaming down my face and I didn't want anyone to see me."

Teri recently contradicted John's version of events, claiming she and Tony were not in bed when John made a surprise visit to her home. Teri said she was "fully dressed" and opened the door for John — from whom she'd recently split.

"[John] just shook his head and looked at me like, 'How could you?'" she claimed in a YouTube video. "Well, I looked at him and didn't say anything either. I just looked at him like, 'What do you care?' He certainly didn't come in my house and find me in bed naked with a sheet over [us]. I mean, none of that happened."

Do you recognize the major Hollywood star standing beside Leonardo DiCaprio in this Nov. 11, 1993, picture? It's none other than Mark Wahlberg, who, at the time, still went by his hip-hop moniker, Marky Mark. The two — who became fast friends while filming their 1995 movie "The Basketball Diaries" — were celebrating Leo's 19th birthday in Los Angeles.

Despite looking like a freshly minted 14-year-old, Leonardo DiCaprio was actually two months shy of turning 18 in this Sept. 19, 1992, picture. The young actor had just wrapped up his time on "Growing Pains" and was participating in MTV's Rock N' Jock Basketball tournament in Irvine, California.

On Feb. 28, 2016, Leonardo DiCaprio finally won his first Oscar — after six nominations — for his performance in "The Revenant." The win was, by many accounts, long overdue, given the quality of Leo's many films and performances over the years. During his acceptance speech, Leo thanked his parents and his friends before speaking out about a cause near and dear to his heart: climate change. "It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating. A few days later on Jan. 29, 2003, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks reunited once more on the red carpet for a viewing of "Catch Me If You Can" at the Cinema Adriano in Rome. For his work in the crime film, which was based on the Stan Redding book of the same name and earned $352.1 million at the box office, Leo earned a Golden Globe nomination for best actor.

There are dozens of stars turning 70 in 2023 — we're rounding up the newest crop of septuagenarians…

Amy Irving celebrated her 70th birthday on Sept. 10.

The Broadway actress might have performed in notable movies including "Carrie," "Yentl" — for which she earned an Academy Award nomination — and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" (she provided Jessica Rabbit's singing voice), but she's also made headlines thanks to a serious romance.

She dated director Steven Spielberg from 1976 to 1980 — and lost out on the role of Indiana Jones' love interest Marion Ravenwood in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" when they split — then reconciled with the filmmaker in 2005. According to the Los Angeles Times, they decided to get married when Amy got pregnant with their son, Max, so they worked out a prenup — reportedly on a cocktail napkin.

When they divorced in 1989 — Steven moved on with his "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" star Kate Capshaw amid affair speculation — Amy famously challenged the prenup, since she didn't have an attorney present, and won: A judge ruled she was entitled to half of Steven's earnings during their four-year marriage, which amounted to a reported $100 million. Though there have been other huge Hollywood divorce settlements since then, at the time, it was the largest Tinseltown had ever seen.

Amy went on to marry twice more: Her current husband is documentary filmmaker Kenneth Bowser Jr. She's continued to act on occasion, popping up in more recent years in projects including TV's "House," "The Good Wife" and "The Affair."

Marcia Clark — the famed lead prosecutor from the O.J. Simpson murder trial in the '90s — turned 70 on Aug. 31.

She was portrayed by lauded actress Sarah Paulson – who won an Emmy for her efforts — on the 2016 limited series "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story." Marcia, who didn't meet Sarah until filming was almost completed — they had dinner together, "got drunk" and "closed the place down," Marcia told MediaVillage — said she was "blown away" by Sarah's performance.

After publishing a bestselling book on the O.J. Simpson case, Marcia went on to become a successful author: She's published a few bestselling crime-fiction series including one centering on criminal defense attorney Samantha Brinkman and another featuring prosecutor Rachel Knight.

In recent years, she's also been working in Hollywood. In 2018, Marcia starred on a season of A&E's "Marcia Clark Investigates The First 48," and in 2019, she executive produced the ABC crime-drama series "The Fix" starring Robin Tunney. "I've been writing crime fiction for 15 years now, after leaving the DA's office, and that's all I have been doing, so it's easy and actually more fun [to executive produce]," she told MediaVillage at the time. "It's like, 'Wait, I don't have enough evidence? Backspace, backspace, I found fingerprints!' I get to decide how the cases come out. I love that even more."

Tim "The Toolman" Taylor himself, Tim Allen, turned 70 on June 13. The actor played the character on "Home Improvement" in the '90s and voiced Buzz Lightyear in the "Toy Story" franchise.

It's hard to believe, but Pierce Brosnan turned 70 this year! The Irish actor, who played James Bond from 1995 until 2002 after finding fame on TV as the star of "Remington Steele," celebrated his big birthday on May 16.

Four-time Grammy winner Pat Benatar turned 70 on on Jan. 10. The rocker known for smash hits like "Heartbreaker" and "Love is a Battlefield" was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.

Hulk Hogan — one of the most iconic WWF and WWE wrestlers of all time — celebrated his 70th birthday on Aug. 11. It's been a happy year for other reasons too: Hulk got engaged to yoga teacher Sky Daily in July.

We all know Rick Moranis as the dad from the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" franchise as well as his work in "Ghostbusters," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Spaceballs" and more. On April 18, the actor celebrated his 70th birthday.

Tony Shalhoub will be celebrating his 70th birthday on Oct. 9. The "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" actor is perhaps best known for his work on "Monk," which earned him Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.

Bill Pullman, who's appeared in flicks like "Sleepless in Seattle," "Casper" and "Independence Day," will be turning the big 7-0 on Oct. 17.

Joanna Kerns joined the 70 club on Feb. 12! The actress, best known as matriarch Maggie Seaver on "Growing Pains," more recently appeared on the ABC drama "A Million Little Things."

Actress Mary Steenburgen turned 70 on Feb. 8. She's best known for her roles in unforgettable comedies like "Step Brothers" and "Elf" and enduring comedy-dramas like "Parenthood" and "Melvin and Howard" — which earned her a Golden Globe for best supporting actress. She's been married to actor Ted Danson since 1995.

John Edwards — a former senator from North Carolina who was the Democratic nominee for vice president on John Kerry's ticket in the 2004 election (which they lost to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney) — celebrated his 70th birthday on June 10. His political career has been over since he was indicted by a federal grand jury in 2011 on six felony charges related to allegations that he used campaign funds to cover up an affair — during which he fathered a child with his mistress — while his attorney wife, Elizabeth, was dying from cancer.

Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, turned 70 on Feb. 11. The career politician is the son of former President George H. W. Bush and the younger brother of former President George W. Bush.

Pamela Sue Martin — who's best known as Nancy Drew on the television series "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries" and as Fallon Carrington Colby on the original "Dynasty" — celebrated her 70th birthday on Jan. 5.

Former Parsons School of design faculty member and fashion design chair Tim Gunn — who shot to fame as he mentored dozens of design contestants on "project Runway," turned 70 on July 29.
