Tristan Thompson is playing the game again… and we don't mean basketball.
Over the past several years, the NBA player has seemingly used the same playbook after he and Khloe Kardashian breakup: They split amid infidelity rumors, and he starts leaving flattering comments on her Instagram. Rinse. Repeat.
Some things never change.
Earlier in the week, on the heels of the most recent breakup amid cheating rumors, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star posted an Instagram picture from the beach. Fans loved the serene image. Tristan did, too, as he commented with three heart-eye emojis.
As expected, Khloe's legion of fans ripped the Boston Celtics player, as they've seen this movie before.
"Go flirt with someone else. Stop wasting her time," one person said. Another added, "'leave my girl aloneeeee you do her wrong EVERYTIME." Some pleaded with him to "go away."
"Holy crap. Just leave her alone," another said. "You have shown over and over again that you are not capable of being the man she needs, wants or deserve."
A few fans blamed Khloe for continuing to reconcile with Tristan, who has a spotty history of fidelity with her.
Back in 2018, just two days before Khloe gave birth to True, videos emerged of him cheating on the reality TV star with several women. In the following days, he was then linked to even more women. Khloe stayed with him through all the allegations and videos.
Then, in 2019, he was again accused of cheating on Khloe, this time with Kylie Jenner's now-former BFF Jordyn Woods. In the fallout, Khloe split with her beau but blamed Jordyn for the alleged hookup. She flat out said Jordyn — not Tristan — was the reason for the family fracture. Fans, though, turned on Khloe and ripped her for backing Tristan. Soon after, she changed her tune.
Almost immediately, Tristan tried winning Khloe back and he often left flirty comments on her Instagram. As time went on, a reconciliation seemed imminent. In 2020, the duo officially reconciled and Khloe tweeted that the entire Jordyn-Tristan incident was "hearsay."
