Trump claimed his fanbase yelled at the pop icon, but The View's Alyssa Farah Griffin doesn't agree with the president's assertion.
"I'm going to do some pushback here. She got booed because half of the crowd are Eagles fans, and [she's] dating one of the star players," Griffin told her co-hosts.

In a Truth Social post, Trump shared his thoughts.
"The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift," the president told his followers. "She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!"

Swift, who is originally from Pennsylvania, grew up an Eagles fan, but she cheered for the Kansas City Chiefs during the big game because her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is on the team.
"I don't think this was anything broader than that. I would remind people, there's not a national backlash — she packed out that exact same stadium three nights in a row just a couple of months ago in the Eras Tour," Griffin stated.

The "Love Story" singer appeared uncomfortable, as NFL fans hollered at her.
"There's not a shortage of people who absolutely love Taylor Swift. While I was watching with neighbors, everyone had their kids running around," the political strategist said.
"Seeing young girls under 10 who watching, like, 'Are they going to show Taylor?' I think it's a cool way to introduce girls to the sport who maybe didn't like, grow up watching football," she added. "But, it's bringing them into the fold."

Despite the pushback, Griffin thinks "people still love Taylor" and called her "a totally good sport about" the ordeal.
Even though Griffin, who previously worked for Trump's administration, didn't agree with her old boss, she noted that his approval rating has improved.
"I wasn't going to say it on the show today because I didn't feel like choosing violence on a Monday; Trump's the most popular he's ever been," she told the panel.

Before the game, Kelce and his teammate Patrick Mahomes were enthusiastic about Trump being the first sitting president to attend the event.
"He's somebody that does have support in this country. But, I also stand by what I said on Friday's show when we were talking about Travis Kelce saying he was honored to have him, I also think the Super Bowl is a celebration of America, and there were definitely people who cheered because it's the American president who didn't vote for Trump," Griffin clarified.
"That's just a fact," she pointed out. "There's a certain reverence we generally have for our presidents that I think is part of what was shown."
