An American Airlines employee was fatally injured on the tarmac of Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 27, when the worker was struck by a ramp vehicle while performing duties on the aircraft ramp.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
