It's been a happy few days for Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, wife Sally and their twins.
On May 30, the couple celebrated Alice and Gracie's 4th birthday. And on June 1, they marked Ronnie's 73rd birthday.
Sally, 42, and Ronnie β who has four other kids from two previous marriages, plus six grandchildren β shared some rare photos of their daughters on social media to mark the twins' birthday during COVID-19 lockdown.
"Happy 4th birthday to my beautiful Alice and Gracie! ππππβ€οΈ," Ronnie captioned an Instagram photo of the twins laughing while seated on a garden bench and wearing striped shirts with the number 4 on them. Sally, a producer, shared the same photo on her Instagram page along with pics of the twins on their previous birthdays, captioning her slideshow, "HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY ALICE & GRACIE! πππ°πππππ§ππππ°βοΈβοΈπππππYou are our world ~ love love love xxxx @ronniewoodΒ πππ Thank you for all your lovely messages ~ you're all so kind and melt my heart xx π."
Sally posted plenty of other festive photos on her account, including one showing the girls' $18 birthday cakes, which she purchased at Costco. "Hurry up tomorrow's birthdays ~ we've (I've) got 2 @costcoΒ cakes to eat. Possibly the best cakes in the world! May have bought them for myself π€£π€£ π #damnthaticing #cannotwait #cake #delicious #sameaslastyear," she captioned the pic of the confections β one vanilla cake decorated with a rainbow and the other covered in chocolate frosting and sugary balloons.
Sally also shared a photo revealing that the twins β who dressed up in matching "Frozen II" character dresses on their big day β were gifted with matching Disney Princess bicycles and helmets as well as pink mylar balloons in the shape of the number 4.
So how did they spend the girls' special day? With a birthday outing: The family visited the grounds of Ashridge House, a former royal residence located about 20 miles outside of London. "How wonderful to be able to go round the glorious @ashridgehouseΒ (aka Elsa & Anna's castle) on the twins birthday π Thank you so much @nataliehalliwelljenningsΒ for making it possible, we loved it π," Sally captioned the slideshow, adding, "This is also one of @ronniewoods's favourite places to paint, so a double whammy of joy!"
Sally marked Ronnie's birthday with a pic of them celebrating his big day last year. "Happppppy Biiiiiirthday to the one and only @ronniewoodΒ ~ we all love you so much ~ you're simply brilliant xxx ππππππ§π°πππππππ (throw back cake pic to last year when you could have a party) xx ππ," she captioned the shot of them with his cake. She also posted a video on her Instagram stories showing them embracing.
The rocker himself took to Instagram too β to blow kisses in thanks for all the birthday love.
"Thank you for all your lovely birthday messages, I really appreciate them!" Ronnie says in the clip he posted on June 1. "Sending out big love to everyone."
