Although Rod Stewart doesn't appear to be anywhere near knocking on death's door, his son has already "cashed out" his inheritance, a new report claims.
Page Six says Sean, 42, has "blown through his inheritance early in an attempt to rebrand his clothing line," Dirty Weekend.
"It's insane because this is the third time I think he's relaunching Dirty Weekend," an insider said. "Maybe third time's the charm."
How much money Sean supposedly got in his inheritance isn't known, but the "Maggie May" rocker is estimated to be worth about $300 million.
Just two months ago, Sean hyped up his clothing brand on Instagram, writing, "Really proud of the work me and @hectordemarquez have put into rebranding dirtyweekend. Someone who finally sees my vision what makes a successful business and entrepreneur is the team you have behind you."
Sean and his famous father are quite close. One of Rod's eight children, Sean is fairly well-known, largely due to his appearance on the short-lived reality show "Sons of Hollywood" in 2017. Sean was also by Rod's side during a New Year's Eve scuffle in Florida in 2019.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Rod told police he and his family were trying to get the children in their group access to a private event at the hotel. A security guard resisted, telling Rod and his group that they didn't have access to the area and asked them to leave. Around this time, Sean allegedly got "nose to nose" with the security guard. A skirmish eventually ensued and police said Rod then punched the security guard in his left ribcage area.
Both Rod and Sean eventually pleaded guilty to battery.
While clearly pleased with the relaunch of his clothing line, Sean also has a lot to celebrate, as he recently became a newlywed, having tied the knot with Jody Weintraub in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day. Sean and Jody, the daughter of late producer Jerry Weintraub, have been friends since high school.
The relaunch and wedding also come after Sean was injured when he was hit by a truck and rushed to the hospital. He has since recovered.
