Last year, Kennedy was accused of cheating on Hines with former New York Magazine politics writer Olivia Nuzzi. (The duo reportedly exchanged inappropriate text message.)
"Cheryl doesn't feel Bobby can be trusted one iota living on his own, in D.C., even part-time, with so many attractive women and Kennedy groupies around, as he gets settled in his powerful new position," a source told DailyMail.com.

Kennedy is beginning his new career in Washington as the Secretary of Health and Human Services, but Hines might not be interested in having a long distance marriage.
"She's given him a strict ultimatum — move me or else," the DailyMail.com insider claimed.

Before Kennedy transitioned into a career in politics, Hines was best known for her work as a comedic actress."Cheryl thinks Washington is stodgy and boring compared to L.A., and she has absolutely no love for MAGA or the Trump circle that Bobby's now a part of," the insider revealed.
"But she'll be supportive of him as long as he stays monogamous," the source added. "But if he strays as he did with the [Nuzzi] affair, watch out!"
_
Kennedy's alleged wandering eye might've pushed Hines to leave her fabulous life in California behind."Cheryl's willing to sacrifice all the glamorous lifestyle to become a political wife, moved to D.C. forthwith, and live in trendy Georgetown, so she can keep a close watch on Bobby," the source shared.

New York Magazine parted ways with Nuzzi in the wake of the Kennedy affair scandal."[We] agreed that the best course forward is to part ways," the publication shared in a statement.
"Nuzzi is a uniquely talented writer and we have been proud to publish her work over her nearly eight years as our Washington Correspondent," the statement continued. "We wish her the best."

Nuzzi eventually confirmed that her dynamic with Kennedy was a conflict of interest."The nature of some communication between myself and a former reporting subject turned personal," she said, according to People.
However, she stressed that her relationship with the conspiracy theorist was "never physical," though she admitted it "should have been disclosed to prevent the appearance of a conflict."
