Pink and Carey Hart met when they were both in their early 20s. She's learned a lot about life and relationships since then.
"When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn't lie to me. I didn't have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust. It's f****** hard," she wrote in her lengthy post. "But man if I'm not humbled by the surprise of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience. How love rearranges itself and reappears after an empty night or five. I'm proud we made it to the other side of this year. I wear our scars proudly. You are my stubborn, beautiful, immovable rock."

Carey Hart also took to Instagram to publicly celebrate his wedding anniversary: "In the last 18 years of marriage to this amazing human, we have done so much together. Raise two amazing children, travel the world, go on adventures, love, argue, make up, support each other, laugh, cry, laugh more, breakup, get back together, party, mourn, grow, and a million other things," he captioned a slideshow of photos with Pink.
"There is no one else on this planet I'd rather do it with than you. 22 years in each other's lives and I'm looking forward to the next 22. As long as you don't kill me first. Love you baby!!!!! Happy anniversary, @pink," he added.

Pink and Carey Hart began dating in 2001 but split two years later. They reconciled and married in 2006. Two years after that, they split again but never divorced. Then, Carey reached out to Pink about coming to Las Vegas for New Year's Eve 2009. She accepted and invited him up to her hotel room. There, she presented him with a photo album and several sentimental items while wearing his favorite undergarments.
Recalling the moment with Redbook, Pink said, "On the last page, I pasted a photo of me from a really bad movie I made years ago with my neck slit and blood everywhere. Next to it I wrote, 'This is me without you.' On the next page, there was a picture of a baby. And I wrote: 'The rest is unwritten.' The divorce papers that we never signed were behind that page. I was like, 'The rest is up to you.'"
