The number 8008 is often used to reference a woman's chest.
X users couldn't help but react to the moment.
"They should yell… 'Elon, can I have your baby's.' Then he'll give you his number," one person wrote, referencing the fact that Musk has 14 children.
"He's got the mental headspace and intelligence of a 3rd grader," another stated.

Some spectators shared their concerns about the tech billionaire managing X, Tesla, SpaceX and the new federal agency DOGE.
"Elon Musk wants to colonize Mars because he's already mastered ruining things on Earth," one X user wrote.
"Richest man in the world with the mind of dumb h**** teenager," yet another critic chimed in.

While some viewers considered Musk's comments to be juvenile, fans applauded the reply.
"Musk stays winning trolling the media like a pro," one admirer wrote.

Musk has become more visible since aligning himself with Trump, who has been a vocal critic of mainstream media. Some fans believed the 8008 joke was the tech entrepreneur's way of toying with reporters.
"Elon Musk trolling the media with 'Something at 8008' is peak chaos energy — spelling out 'B***' like a middle-schooler with a calculator," one Musk follower stated.
"Liberals might clutch their pearls, but it's just Elon being Elon: unfiltered, absurd, and owning the room. The media walked right into it, and he didn't even break a sweat," they continued.

Someone theorized that Musk was working with Trump to get back at the press.
"Elon just makes fun of them. Trump intentionally gets under their skin and demoralizes them. It's great teamwork," one fan wrote.
