It was a match made in country music heaven … that is until it wasn't.
Nearly two years after Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert got divorced, Miranda is opening up about coping with life in light of her divorce.
First and foremost, the 32-year-old country crooner focused her pain and turned it into music.
"If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it's all on there [her double record Weight of These Wings]," Miranda told Billboard. "There's no mystery anymore. Take from it what you will. I was like, 'Let's feel it all.' I was ready to have the days where I can't even stand up and the days where I'm celebrating."
She went on to say that she embraced all of the emotional upheaval her divorce brought. "I won't look at things ever again in the same light," Miranda said. "Because different things in your life bring you to a deeper level with yourself. I won't take pain for granted anymore."
Since her high-profile split, though, Miranda has found a new love with singer Anderson East. The couple — who has been together since late 2015 — keep a pretty low profile but definitely seem serious.
However, Miranda couldn't help but gush over her man and their life to celebrate Anderson's birthday in July.
"Rock & Roll Sundays and No Makeup Mondays," she captioned the social media post. "My favorite Bama boy turned 30 today. He owns the stage and he owns my heart. 💗Thanks @andersoneast for inspiring me in so many ways. You are a light that could outshine the sun. I love making memories with you."
"They are really enjoying each other's company," a source told Us Weekly when the couple first got together. "She couldn't have picked a better dude to have fun with. Anderson is the coolest guy."
After all of the pain, we are so happy to see that Miranda Lambert is happy again — both professionally and personally.
