Michael B. Jordan never forgets.
While promoting his newest film "Creed 3," the actor-director chatted with Lore'l, the host of "The Morning Hustle Show," who happened to be classmates with Michael in high school.
In the viral interview, Lore'l begins by speaking about their history together but is interrupted by Michael.
"I was the corny kid, right?" he uttered.
Trying to play it off, Lore'l said, "I did not say that! I was misquoted for sure!"
Michael, though, stood firm, telling saying, "What's up? I heard it. What's up? What's up?" His body language toward Lore'l had a very matter-of-fact feel to it.
The tension between the two stems from Lore'l 2021 comments about the actor on the "Undressing Room." In the two-year-old interview, the host of the "Undressing Room," not Lore'l, called the actor "a nice corny guy." Lore'l, however, continued with the topic and admitted to often "making fun" of Michael in high school.
"We teased him all the damn time because his name was Michael Jordan. Let's start there, and he was no Michael Jordan," she said, referring to the NBA player. "And he also would come to school with a headshot. We lived in Newark, that's the hood. We would make fun of him like, 'What you gonna do with your stupid headshot!?' And now look at him!"
Video of the new interview — which ended by Lore'l saying "You're not corny anymore" — has been shared on social media hundreds of times, and the Twitter-verse is clearly siding with Michael.
"When you make someone the butt of your jokes in High School then have to interview him on the red carpet of his film. Michael B. Jordan sure ain't forget Lore'l was one of the people who would make fun of him back in the day," one social media user said.
"You can tell he remembers her in a VERY different light than she saw herself 😳," another person said. A third added, "Bullies don't remember how mean they were, the bullied for sure remembers."
