"She is one of the most annoying people on television," the Republican commentator boldly stated. "She oozes sanctimony and self-righteousness and here's the real capper. She took her bosses faces and rubbed them in s— last night."
For Kelly, watching Maddow school her company's leadership live on air was unforgivable. "If one of my employees ever did this to me. I would fire them so fast and you couldn't get me to back down with claims of 'viewpoint discrimination, 'you're cracking down on free speech,' no, you work for me," the blonde anchor noted.

Kelly also pointed out how the leftist implying the cancelation of Reid and Alex Wagner's shows having a racial motivation was off-base.
"Just getting on to randomly disagree with their decisions and accuse them of racism because you would've come to a different conclusion, she should be fired," Kelly said.

During the Monday, February 24, broadcast of her MSNBC series The Rachel Maddow Show, the Lincoln College grad unleased on the executives.
"I think it is a bad mistake to let her walk out the door. It is not my call and I understand that. But that's what I think," Maddow said of The ReidOut host.

"I will tell you. It is also unnerving to see that on a network where we've got two – count them – two nonwhite hosts in primetime, both of our nonwhite hosts in primetime are losing their shows, as is Katie Phang on the weekend," she continued.
Maddow continued to throw her employers under the bus over how many people behind the scenes lost their jobs. "Dozens of producers and staffers, including some who are among the most experienced and most talented and most specialist producers in the building, are facing being laid off," the Democratic journalist explained.

"They're being invited to reapply for new jobs. That has never happened at this scale in this way before when it comes to programming changes, presumably because it's not the right way to treat people. And it's inefficient and it's unnecessary and it kind of drops the bottom out of whether or not people feel like this is a good place to work," Maddow added.
In Reid's final send-off, she warned her viewers against fascism as the country continues to see drastic changes by President Donald Trump and his administration. "We begin tonight with what I think is the question. When you are in the midst of a crisis and specifically a crisis of democracy, how do you resist when fascism isn't just coming, it's already here?" she questioned.
