CNN Star Gets Ripped Apart Over New Book on Biden's Decline

Jake Tapper's new book, Original Sin, highlights Joe Biden's presidency and his rumored health woes.
However, throughout Biden's term, questions about his well-being were often shut down and ignored. Due to the controversy, Tapper's project outraged many of Donald Trump's "MAGA" supporters.

After Biden and Trump's presidential debate, many viewers questioned if the former was fit to run for president.
During the campaign, Tapper branded the ongoing assumptions being made about the Democrat a conspiracy.

When Lara Trump discussed Biden's motor skills on The Lead With Jake Tapper, the anchor insinuated she was mocking the politician's "stutter."

Due to his initial stance, Elon Musk took to X to discuss Original Sin.
"What a hypocrite," Elon wrote.

X users rushed to side with the tech tycoon.
"Typical liberal hypocrisy, they deny reality until it suits them," one user wrote. "Tapper's flip flop is a perfect example of the left's double standards, can't handle the truth about Biden's cognitive decline Now they're trying to profit from it with a book, unbelievable."

Jake's decision to co-author a book after defending the former senator wasn't well-received.
"These people have no shame. None whatsoever," someone shared. "These same people covered it up the whole time. I'm old enough to remember when they called it 'Cheap fakes.'"

Following a rocky debate, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about Biden's condition.
"I'm just gonna say what Dr. O'Connor said to me about a year ago when [Biden's physical] was released," Karine said during a 2024 press briefing.
"The president proves every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks, by dealing with world leaders, by making difficult decisions on behalf of the American people — whether it's domestic or it's national security," she continued. "That is how Dr. O'Connor sees it, and that is how I'm going to leave it."

Despite Karine's confidence in Joe, he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.
"It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term," Joe wrote in a letter shared to his X account.

Meanwhile, Donald didn't hesitate to discuss Joe's announcement.
"There has never been a president who has done such damage to our country, from energy independence to letting in millions and millions of illegal immigrants," Donald told NBC News at the time.
"He should have stayed in his basement," Trump added.
