Noem discussed the infomercial with Fox News' Jesse Watters and how she hopes things will look different moving forward.
"Those ads will be running not only in the country, but also internationally, all around the world, telling people that we are a nation of laws," Noem stated.
"Don't come to America if you plan to break our laws, and if you don't plan to come legally," she stressed.

According to Noem, the number of people crossing the Mexican-American border greatly decreased since Trump has been in office.
"Yeah, it's been incredible to see the numbers trickle down almost to zero," she noted. "You know, we are talking less than a couple of hundred people that we are encountering a day when it was literally over 11,000 under Joe Biden."

Throughout his campaign, Trump took a strong stance against migrants entering the country without any sort of credentials.
"The message that we're sending to the rest of the world through these commercials and this marketing campaign is, don't come here," Noem clarified.
"We don't want illegals. We don't want criminals," she declared. "America is a place where you come to pursue the American dream and that this president will always put Americans first."
While Trump is clear about his plans for the future, some urban communities aren't fond of his policies.
"These sanctuary cities, sanctuary counties, are a struggle," Noem revealed.
"That's why I'm excited to get Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice on board and use every authority that we have and work together on a plan to make sure that we're prosecuting everybody to the fullest extent of the law that we can, and making sure that we're taking care of those criminal aliens where we're able to go after them," she continued.

The White House referenced Trump's comments from 2018 when explaining his recent executive order banning undocumented people from crossing the border.
"Illegal immigration affects the lives of all Americans," Trump was quoted saying.
"Illegal immigration hurts American workers; burdens American taxpayers; and undermines public safety; and places enormous strain on local schools, hospitals, and communities in general, taking precious resources away from the poorest Americans who need them most," he continued.

Trump later claimed accommodating people without status is expensive for the U.S. to do.
"Illegal immigration costs our country billions and billions of dollars each year," the reality star shared. "And I will therefore take every lawful action at my disposal to address this crisis. And that's what we're doing."
