Here we go again… maybe.
After 5 years of an off-and-on relationship, Khloe Kardashian is reportedly giving Tristan Thompson another chance — at least that's what In Touch is reporting. Another outlet claimed that the duo are simply co-parenting their daughter, True.
"It may not be the most ideal situation because of her trust issues, but she's desperate to make it work and he's once again promised to do better," an insider apparently told the mag. "Khloe wants Tristan in True's life and she's still holding out hope for that second child. They are far from over."
Recently, Tristan was traded from the Boston Celtics to the Sacramento Kings. He's supposedly using that to his benefit, as he will now be in California, the same state Khloe and True call home.
"He also promised Khloe that things will be different this time around and that he signed with the Sacramento Kings to be closer to her and True, and be a proper family and she believes him," a second source said.
Amid the report, TMZ said the exes are "not romantically linked whatsoever" and are just being parents, hence why they've been seen together of late.
Despite Tristan's very sketchy track record of fidelity over the years, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star has largely welcomed him back and also ignored the chorus of fans begging her to move on.
Back in 2018, just two days before Khloe gave birth to True, videos emerged of him cheating on the reality TV star with several women. In the following days, he was then linked to even more women. Khloe stayed with him through all the allegations and videos.
Then in 2019, he was again accused of cheating on Khloe, this time with Kylie Jenner's now-former BFF Jordyn Woods. In the fallout, Khloe split with her beau but blamed Jordyn for the alleged hookup. As fans ripped her, she changed her tune. Almost immediately, Tristan tried winning back Khloe and often left flirty comments on her Instagram, which has since become a trend. In 2020, the duo officially reconciled and Khloe tweeted that the entire Jordyn-Tristan incident was "hearsay."
In June 2021, reports claimed the couple split again amid cheating allegations. Shortly after, the NBA player again began commenting on Khloe's Instagram with flirtatious comments. Most recently, she showed off her curly hair on social media — and Tristan responded in the comments section with several heart emojis and heart-eye emojis.
In late June, he shared a photo of himself kissing her on the head.
"Thank you for being not just an amazing partner, mommy and best friend but also being the kindest, caring and most loving human being I've ever met. Your love and spirit is contagious to all who've met you," he wrote. "Thank you for always being there for me and putting our family first. I love you so much. Have an amazing day."
Khloe's family seems to have again opened their hearts to Tristan, too.
On Aug. 14, he posted about "changing" on Instagram.
"Some people will judge you for changing. Some people will celebrate you for growing. Choose your circle wisely," he wrote. Kim Kardashian, Khloe's sister, liked the post and wrote, "Jamaican Canadian prophet."
