Months after social media skewered reality TV's "first family" over obviously-faked Photoshop images of True Thompson at Disneyland, Khloe Kardashian has come clean — her admission, though, was a bit of an accident.
In January, a TikToker went viral after claiming that True was edited into old Disneyland pictures that featured Kim Kardashian's daughter Chicago. The story became more compelling when Internet sleuths realized that True's face was actually Photoshopped over the face of Stormi Webster, Kylie Jenner's daughter.
A fan page even noted that Chicago and Stormi were at Disneyland on October 19 with Kylie and Kris Jenner. The Instagram account further showed images of Stormi at the Happiest Place on Earth wearing a white hoodie on that fall day. The fraudulent post, though, showed True in a white hoodie, not Stormi.
On Tuesday, April 12, Khloe accidentally fessed up to the editing while celebrating True's 4th birthday at Disneyland. The Good American owner said it was her daughter's first time at the park. Of course, social media recalled the infamous Photoshopped images from Dec. 31, 2021, and called Khloe out for it.
Amid the comments and regurgitation of the phony snaps, Khloe tweeted, "Welllppp I f***** this one up." She then tried to pivot. "Anyways….. let's focus on something else Our show airs in a few days."
Fans let Khloe know she and her family weren't fooling anyone with those poorly-Photoshopped snaps.
"It's okay Khloe we already knew! We just wanna know why!😂😂 Love you Koko," one fan said. Another said, "what was the reason😭."
There was a theory that the Stormi-for-True swap was done to try and take attention off of Travis Scott, Stormi's father, in the wake of his fatal Astroworld concert.
