Jessie James Decker was driven to tears this week after discovering an online forum with vicious comments about her body.
The country singer sobbed on her Instagram Story while discussing the vile words that she says are happening "daily" on a Reddit board.
"It's pretty awful, and I cannot believe this is still happening in the world — that people are doing this," she said. "Yes, I have gained weight, 100 percent. I used to [be] obsessed over it. I tried to stay a certain weight, and most recently, over the past year, I decided to just let myself live."
She continued, "I work out, and I eat what I want, and I 100 percent am 10 pounds heavier than I used to be."
Jessie didn't mince words, saying the comments on Reddit are "disgusting."
"How can you wake up and live with yourself?," she asked the keyboard warriors writing such awful comments. "I'm shaking because I cannot believe what I'm reading."
As the video continued, the 33-year-old began getting emotional and tears formed.
"It is hurtful, and I am such a strong, confident person, and I always have been, but it does hurt my heart a little that people are ripping every little thing about me apart," she said. "It's mean and it's bullying and it's not OK."
Now sobbing, the mother of three thought about the next generation of children.
"I hope my daughter doesn't grow up in a world where people do this to her because it's wrong," Jessie said. "I think we all need to do better."
At one point, Jessie, who's married to former NFL star Eric Decker, hid in a bathroom while she cried so her daughter Vivianne, 7, wouldn't see her so emotional. The songstress then reminded her followers and haters that she isn't "perfect."
"I'm a person, I'm a human being and your words hurt me, but you pointing out my flaws, the things I'm already insecure about, it already hurts me," she said. "And it doesn't feel good to be picked on or bullied or ripped apart. I've been dealing with it my whole life. I thought it would be over once I became an adult and it's not."
She ended her video with a message to the trolls.
"My one last thought is if you don't like me, then leave me alone," she said. "If you don't like anything I have to say, then stop paying attention to me. Just leave me alone."
