"He's getting criticized in the media and he says that he's helping and he's not," the voice allegedly belonging to J.D. Vance remarked about Elon Musk.

"He's making us look bad. He's making me look bad," the former Ohio senator allegedly said about the Tesla founder's controversial spending cuts.

J.D. Vance then allegedly took aim at Elon Musk's influence over the United States government when he's not even a native of the country.
"And I'll tell you this and you wouldn't like it if I said it, but he's not even an American," the Republican allegedly stated. "He is from South Africa. It is cosmopolitan. There's this great American leader in a room that has the portraits of some of the greatest men that ever lived in this country and he has the audacity to act like he is an elected official."

J.D. Vance allegedly emphasized how he should be making big decisions with Donald Trump rather than Elon Musk, who the American people did not choose to represent them.
"I am an elected official. I am the important one. In this situation, not him. So, if he wants to tank the economy and his cars, maybe that's what he deserves," he reportedly added.

Elon Musk's role in the government has sparked public outrage, with protests breaking out at numerous Tesla dealerships around the country over the billionaire severing hundreds of jobs. In more severe cases, vandals shot through windows and damaged vehicles.
"People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to 20 years and that includes funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!" Donald Trump warned in a post shared to Truth Social on Friday, March 22.

"I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20-year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla," Donald Trump continued about the alleged crimes against Elon Musk's businesses. "Perhaps they would serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions."
According to the FBI, there have been nine reported incidents at dealerships across the nation since January that involved arson, gunfire and graffiti.

"These criminal actions appear to have been conducted by lone offenders and all known incidents occurred at night," the FBI explained in a statement. "Individuals require little planning to use rudimentary tactics, such as improvised incendiary devices and firearms, and may perceive these attacks as victimless property crimes."
