Jason Derulo has plopped down $3.6 million for a stunning home in the Los Angeles area… for his ex-girlfriend — that same woman who publicly accused him of cheating on her.
The singer and TikTok star purchased the 4,864 square foot home in March, property records show. Based on the price, you would assume that he bought the home for himself, but TMZ said Jason actually got it for ex Jena Frumes and their 14-month-old son, Jason King. Jena and Jason live there "exclusively."
Located in Encino, Calif., the home is stunning, as it features 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a pool and spa and a soundproof movie theater.
The home purchase came just months before Jena insinuated that her romance with Jason faltered because he was unfaithful. On Instagram in June, a troll questioned a photo she posted and criticized her life.
"You're not married, which means your child is a bastard and you're playing the w**** role. Y'all got morals mixed up," the person said.
Jena responded, "I wouldn't call myself a w**** it's unfortunate [the] situation didn't work out because we once did aspire to be married but maybe it's best to be single than to be in a relationship & constantly be disrespected & cheated on and lied to. Or is it better to stay quiet so people like you approve?"
Jena later took to her Instagram Story to share more, writing in part, "Women really don't deserve to be treated and judged the way they are. No one aspires to be a single mom. It's the biggest heartbreak and failure for me personally knowing I'm alone in this… But if your non-negotiables are being tested you'll never find peace in that relationship."
The model continued, "If a man wants a different girl every week over his family I'll never accept that… we will never be able to make it work 'happily,' was straight up told that I should 'turn the other cheek.' I'll never be OK with sharing a lover that I love with all my heart!!!" She added of the alleged infidelity, "If the streets come first I can't change that so stop blaming the women like we chose the single mother life. That s*** is hella annoying. You don't know what women go through to try & 'make it work.' It was never about money or dating someone famous… I was in love & we planned a baby & life together! It didn't work out and life must go on. Leave me alone."
Jason and Jena split in September 2021, but they seem to be co-parenting well. In fact, Jason sat in the front row and supported Jena at her recent runway gig during Miami Swim Week on July 16.
