Alana Thompson — otherwise known as Honey Boo Boo — is revealing a new look on social media.
On Aug. 25, the reality TV star shared a slew of images from her recent photo shoot with Teen Vogue, a pictorial that comes just a few days shy of her 16th birthday.
"OMGG !! I'm soo excited to finally tell everyone that I'm on Teen Vogue!," she captioned the Instagram images. "This is a dream come true, never in million years would I've thought I was gonna be on teen [vogue] but look at me now."
She adds, "I'm so thankful & grateful for this opportunity."
Snapshots show the teen in a multitude of different looks — in one photo she sports a red cowboy hat and silver dress, in another, a fresh-faced Alana rocks a frilly neon green dress.
The former "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star also shared a video from her photo shoot, and Teen Vogue posted several snaps of Alana in high fashion looks.
"I'm the drippiest person ever," she says of her fashion sense.
Now that she's maturing, Alana actually sees little of herself in Honey Boo Boo anymore.
"They are completely two different people," she told Teen Vogue for the story. "I would say that I do like this Alana now, rather than the younger Alana."
Alana's life hasn't been easy. Her parents, "Mama" June Shannon and "Sugar Bear" Mike Thompson, split in 2014. That was around the same time the family's reality TV show was canceled after June began dating convicted child molester Geno Doak. June would eventually get heavy into drugs and was arrested in 2019 with Geno for drug possession. Soon, Alana's sister, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon took over as the teen's legal guardian, despite Lauryn being only 21 years old and already having a small child at home.
June is now sober and no longer with Geno. With the drug use and Geno in the rearview mirror, Alana and June have started mending fences.
"When my mama got real bad with her [drug use], I didn't know where I was going to end up," Alana told the outlet. "I'm proud of myself for how far I've come."
