Erika Jayne's estranged husband, Tom Girardi, has been hit with another lawsuit.
Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services is suing Tom and his law firm, Girardi Keese, for alleged breach of contract and failing to pay monthly fees.
Page Six obtained the lawsuit that claims Tom and Wells Fargo entered into five different agreements to finance the lease of office equipment. However, the bank says Tom and his firm have failed to make payments, claiming Girardi Keese owes $882,715.52.
The bank wants its money pronto and says it's charging interest.
Further, the bank notes that leased equipment is being held in two California locations and wants the properties seized, considering the outstanding payment.
This is the second lawsuit to hit Tom in as many weeks. On Dec. 2, a class-action firm called Edelson PC sued Tom and Erika, claiming their divorce filing was nothing more than "a sham" designed with the purpose of embezzling money from the families of victims of a deadly plane crash.
In a class action lawsuit last year, Edelson PC represented the families of the victims of Lion Air Flight 610, which crashed in 2018 in Indonesia, killing all 189 people onboard. Tom's law firm, Girardi Keese, was also involved in the lawsuit against Boeing, as the fateful plane was a Boeing 737 Max 8.
In early 2020, Boeing quietly reached individual settlements with the families of the crash victims. In the early December lawsuit, Edelson claimed that Tom has been embezzling money from the settlements to support his glamorous lifestyle with Erika.
The court documents said Tom and his law firm "are on the verge of financial collapse and locked in a downward spiral of mounting debts and dwindling funds."
The lawsuit alleged Erika suddenly filed for divorce so that she and Tom, 81, can "project a public image of obscene wealth at all times, and at whatever the cost."
