Erika Jayne is putting herself on the market again.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star is dating again: She's been on a "handful" of dates in Los Angeles, TMZ reported on Oct. 25.
The realty TV star isn't using dating apps, though. Instead, she's letting trusted friends set her up on dates with single guys in L.A. So far, she's been out with a few guys in the entertainment industry and a few guys in other fields.
"Erika is seeing if there's a spark with a mix of men," TMZ reports. (The webloid also implies that Erika is only dating guys who live in the L.A. area.)
This is essentially uncharted water for the "Pretty Mess" singer, who last dated in the '90s before marrying Tom Girardi.
Not only has Erika's love life been flipped upside down, but so have her finances.
In November 2020, Erika filed to divorce Tom. Weeks later, he was accused of embezzling money from the law firm where he worked. (Some of those funds were intended for families of those who died in the 2018 Lion Air Flight 610 crash in Indonesia.)
The former top-notch lawyer was later sued by his business partners, resulting in a chapter 7 bankruptcy petition. The partners claim Tom used money he owed them for "personal gain" and to fund Erika's lavish lifestyle. Because of this, Erika's finances have been questioned as she allegedly refused to hand over her own bank records. There have also been accusations that the couple's divorce was a sham intended to keep money from those seeking to collect on debts owed by Tom. It's also alleged that Erika received more than $20 million from Tom's law firm.
Last month, Tom appeared to implicate Erika in his legal mess. On Sept. 22, Tom was leaving lunch in Los Angeles when a paparazzi cameraman asked him the burning question: Did Erika know anything?
"I think she does," Tom stated as two friends tried to squash the impromptu and quick interview.
Erika, though, has maintained her innocence, claiming Tom controlled her finances during their marriage.
"I gave every paycheck to my husband," she told Andy Cohen during the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 11 reunion last week, adding, "I've handed every paycheck I've ever made over."
The New York Times reports that Erika makes about $600,000 a season from "Real Housewives."
