T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach's romance is moving forward.
A new report claims the former "Good Morning America" cohosts are "moving in together" and ready to "further cement their relationship."
"They're together all the time anyway, mostly at her place," a friend of the couple told DailyMail.com. "I know at first we may have thought this was just a fling that would burn out, but nuh-uh. They are committed."
The report says that the lease on T.J.'s Manhattan apartment is up for renewal late summer, so it seems likely that that will be the official move-in timeline. By then, his divorce from Marilee Fiebig is expected to be final, as well.
The couple's romance has not been without its controversy. On Nov. 30, 2022, DailyMail.com published a bombshell story alleging that the duo — who were both married to other people at the time — had evolved their friendship into a romantic relationship many months earlier. In the wake of the scandal, ABC pulled both Amy and T.J. off the air on Dec. 5 while the network's president figured out next steps, and nearly two months later on Jan. 27, 2023, both were let go.
"After several productive conversations … about different options, we all agreed it's best for everyone that they move on from ABC News," an ABC News spokesperson said.
Since then, Amy's divorce from "Melrose Place" actor Andrew Shue was finalized. She also reportedly moved into a co-op in New York City. T.J., meanwhile, moved to an apartment in the Financial District of the Big Apple after he and his Marilee pulled the plug on their marriage.
T.J. and Amy are now a unit in all aspects, the report says, nothing they are "focused, determined and very much in love and about to make more of a commitment to each other."
Since their relationship came to light, they've not hidden it, as they're often spotted on vacation or in New York.
"They run together and hit up their favorite gym practically every day," the previous source said. "They're out for romantic dinners…. a little PDA at their local grocery store."
