Angelina Jolie just wants to stop wining.
The actress and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, are feuding over their Miraval Château Winery in France — she wants to sell her 50 percent stake in the business to Brad, but he isn't willing to take her offer. Angie now wants trying to sell to a third party at once.
The Blast obtained court documents that detail the drama. Angie, the court documents state, has been unable to sell her portion of the winery and land to the unknown third party because she is not allowed to sell marital assets without Brad's consent, as they've yet to settle their divorce.
A judge, however, already rebuffed her motion and said she and her Oscar-winning ex need to hammer it out in court.
In her appeal, the "Maleficent" star claimed Brad has rebuffed her sales pitches over the past two years, so she went out and found a buyer. The docs also state that Angelina entered into a "possible buyout" scenario because she and Brad are unable to work together on the winery, which they purchased for $67 million.
After the former couple "exchanged many proposals," Angie and her team went on the open market. Angie's lawyer's asked the California divorce court to allow the one-time sale of Miraval, even though the former couple hasn't hashed out all of their finances.
The buyer, the team says, could very well pull out of the deal if it can't be completed quickly.
While calling Angelina "a disregarded business partner with her ex-husband," the documents added, "After all these years of trying to extricate herself from being business partners with her ex-husband on acceptable financial terms, Ms. Jolie is extremely desirous of closing the pending agreement for the sale of (her half of the estate)."
