Kristi Noem is getting people talking once again.
In a video shared to X, formerly known as Twitter, President Donald Trump's Secretary of Homeland Security, 53, was seen rocking a cowboy hat and riding a horse while patrolling the U.S. southern border. However, many social media users were not impressed with Noem's equestrian skills or themed ensemble.

In the clip, Noem galloped alongside other officers on patrol in her Western gear. "The cosplay continues," one person commented below the footage.
"Establishment hack out for another photo op with her duck lips," a second added.
"I feel like she is taking this on like she got a bunch of cameos in a weird show. Pretty silly looking, but whatever works, I guess," a third chimed in.

The former Governor of South Dakota previously got flack for rocking full glam and a blowout while accompanying officers during mass deportations in New York.
"There is ZERO reason for a cabinet secretary to be dressed like this. Is she kicking in doors? No. It's playtime. No experience, no knowledge, no plan. Just look at me in my costume," one user penned on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"COSPLAYING IDIOT! Full makeup and hair extensions to go on raids to get 'dirtbags,'" another noted.

The scrutiny comes after Noem spoke with Meet the Press' Kristen Welker about the current ICE raids and her boss imposing tariffs on Canada, China and Mexico. The NBC journalist directly asked the right-wing politician if "the United States [is] now in a trade war?"
"You know, these countries have an opportunity to get on board with the president of the United States and to partner with us to deal with illegal immigration, to take back their individuals that have been in our country illegally," she explained.

"We want to repatriate them home. And they can be partners. So economically, yes, they will feel pain. They will feel what the consequences are, and we'll be able to continue to go forward with a president who's strong and who's putting America first," Noem said.
Welker then claimed Canada is not a major source for the importation of fentanyl. "You know, let me just stress that point that I made, which is the president cites stopping the flow of fentanyl and undocumented migrants for reasons for these tariffs," the anchor said.
"And yet, Madam Secretary, Canada is not a major source of fentanyl coming into the United States. It's frankly minuscule compared to what is seized at the southern border," she pressed.
Despite being backed into a corner, the Republican defended the businessman, 78. "He has laid down exactly what he is going to do and what the consequences are. I encourage their leadership teams to get on board and to make sure that they're not pushing up prices. If prices go up, it's because of other people's reactions to America's laws," Noem alleged.
"That's what President Trump is doing. He is making sure that we're not picking and choosing winners and losers, that the law applies equally to everybody, American citizens," she added.
