Taylor Swift's live performances are out of this world!
On April 13, 14 and 15, the pop star took her massively successful "Eras" tour to Tampa, Florida. During the course of the three shows, several local residents saw strange lights in the cloudy Florida sky and were quick to assume they were seeing a UFO. It turns out that those were just lights from Taylor's show at Raymond James Stadium, an outdoor football venue.
A video of the lights is going viral, and it's rather comical. In the expletive-filled clip, a group of people sounded stunned while watching the light dancing in the sky.
"They're coming for you," one person can be heard saying. Another voice clearly knows what's happening in the area but is far from convinced that concert lights were, ya know, bigger than the whole sky. "That is NOT Taylor Swift!," the person shouts.
Social media also had some fun with the UFO chatter.
"That's not Taylor Swift @taylorswift13, that's some alien [expletive]," one person wrote.
While the UFO theory is certainly fun, it's pretty clear that E.T. wasn't the source of the light… but it WAS a "Taylien."
The UF-No sighting comes more than a week after news broke that Taylor had split from longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn. During one of her Tampa shows, a fan held up a sign that read, "You OK?" In a scene similar to her "You Belong with Me" music video, Taylor gave the Swiftie a thumbs up.
Judging from her Instagram post after the Tampa shows, Taylor thought the concerts were otherworldly.
"Sill buzzing from those 3 shows in Tampa!!! Thank you to the unforgettably epic crowds and to @aarondessner for coming out to play twice with me, we've been dreaming about that for so long!!," she wrote. "So grateful for the memories we're making on this tour."
