Friday, Aug. 20, was family night for Ben Affleck and his main squeeze, Jennifer Lopez, as the on-again couple hit the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles with Ben's mom and daughters and Jen's twins.
Photos from the group outing show Jen keeping an eye on her 13-year-old son, Max, and daughter, Emme, while Ben chats with daughters Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12, outside the theatre. Ben's mother, Chris Boldt, was also spotted smiling as she walked into the show with the whole crew.
An audience member tells TMZ the stars opened the theater doors just before showtime and managed to stay mostly under the radar.
That appeared to have been a little more difficult after the performance, though, thanks in part to the sweet embrace and mask-to-mask kiss the pair could be seen sharing in a video (via TMZ) as the curtain came up and they waited to exit the room.
The rekindled romance between Ben, who turned 49 last weekend, and Jen, who turned 52 last month, only seems to have intensified since the two reunited earlier this year — nearly two decades after they called off their engagement back in 2004.
It's no surprise they're enjoying blended family get-togethers in Los Angeles, either. Ben remains close with his ex-wife and the mother of his children, Jennifer Garner, while J.Lo maintains a friendship with her twins' dad, Marc Anthony.
The singer and actress was also quick to involve her kids in the lives of Alex Rodriguez's children before she and A-Rod called things off in April.
As Ben shared with Diane Sawyer in a candid interview on "Good Morning America" last year, he "never thought" divorce would be a part of his life prior to his split from Jen Garner, particularly because of what that would mean for his family unit.
"I didn't want to get divorced. I didn't want to be a divorced person. I really didn't want to be a split family with my children," he said at the time. "And it upset me because it meant I wasn't who I thought I was."
