Transgender actress and activist Candis Cayne told The Messenger that Caitlyn Jenner's political beliefs caused strife in their friendship.
"We just don't really talk anymore because I can't separate my friendship with her and her belief system anymore," she said.
Caitlyn has been an advocate for conservative politics throughout her life. She supported Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election, though she broke with him on several transgender issues.

In her chat with The Messenger, Candis Cayne implied that Caitlyn Jenner refused to even listen to other political viewpoints.
"It's sad because I've had so many fun times and experiences with her," Candis said. "I wish she would see the light. I just don't want to spend time with anybody that can't understand the other side."

A spokesperson for Caitlyn Jenner didn't seem bothered by Candis Cayne's interview with The Messenger, telling Page Six, "Caitlyn is proud of her ongoing contract as a Fox News contributor — the only network to employ an openly trans contributor. She reaches the largest cable news audience, bringing a level headed perspective, on protecting women's sports."
