Choice Hottie: Female went to Britney Spears in 2000! The pop princess also picked up Choice Music: Female Artist that year, as her album "Oops!… I Did It Again" topped the charts.
Back-to-back wins! One of the biggest stars in the world in 2001? Jennifer Lopez, who rightfully nabbed the Choice Hottie: Female honor at that year's Teen Choice Awards. Her song "Play" also earned her a surfboard for Choice Music: Dance Track over other tunes like Destiny's Child "Bootylicious" and Missy Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On."
Justin Timberlake took home Choice Hottie: Male for the third year in a row in 2002! *NSYNC's "Girlfriend" featuring Nelly won Choice Music: Single and Choice Music: Hook Up — meaning the coolest collaboration of the year… we think.
At the 2002 TCAs, Britney Spears returned to reclaim her title as Choice Hottie: Female and also picked up Choice Music: Female Artist again.
Ashton Kutcher ended Justin Timberlake's reign in 2003 when he was named Choice Hottie: Male at the TCAs. Ashton also won Choice TV: Comedy Actor for his work on "That '70s Show" and Choice TV: Reality Hunk for his MTV show "Punk'd," beating out the random assortment of other nominees including Andrew Firestone from "The Bachelor" and Nick Lachey from "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica."
When it came time to name the Choice Hottie: Female winner in 2003, Hilary Duff came out on top! The star also nabbed Choice Movie: Breakout Actress for "The Lizzie McGuire Movie."
In 2004, Orlando Bloom was named Choice Hottie: Male, beating out the previous year's winner, Ashton Kutcher, as well as stars like Brad Pitt and Adam Brody. He also won Choice Movie: Chemistry and Choice Movie: Liplock for his work alongside Keira Knightley in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl."
Jessica Simpson took home three awards at the 2004 TCAs — Choice Hottie: Female, Choice Fashion Icon: Female and Choice TV: Reality Star. Though her music that year received nominations, it was her MTV show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," that teens loved most.
In 2005, the hunkiest man of the year, according to the TCAs, was Chad Michael Murray. He not only won Choice Hottie: Male but took top honors in the category of Choice Movie: Action Actor for his work in the horror flick "House of Wax."
As resident hottie Summer Roberts on "The O.C.," it only made sense that Rachel Bilson won Choice Hottie: Female at the 2005 Teen Choice Awards. Rachel also picked up a surfboard for Choice TV: Drama Actress and Choice TV: Chemistry for her work alongside Adam Brody on the popular teen show.
Back for another surfboard? Orlando Bloom once again won in the Choice Hottie: Male category in 2006, though he lost out to co-star Johnny Depp in the Choice Movie: Action/Drama Actor category for his work in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."
2006 saw Jessica Alba's first win as Choice Hottie: Female. She beat out the previous year's winner, Rachel Bilson, and stars like Eva Longoria and Rihanna. And it wouldn't be her last big win in that category…
Zac Efron only had one nomination at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards, but he dominated the category! Zac took home Choice Hottie: Male that year, beating former winner Orlando Bloom, as well as Josh Duhamel, T.I. and Taylor Kitsch.
Jessica Alba picked up her second Choice Hottie: Female win in 2007, though she lost out in the category of Choice Movie Actress: Action for her work in "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" to Kiera Knightley in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End."
There wasn't just one Choice Hottie: Male in 2008… there were three! Yep, the honor went to the Jonas Brothers — Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas. They also picked up a surfboard for Choice Music: Breakout Group, and their song "Burnin' Up" netted them Choice Music: Summer Song while "When You Look Me in the Eyes" won Choice Music: Single.
Choice Hottie: Female at the Teen Choice Awards in 2008? That honor went to Vanessa Hudgens, who also served as a presenter that night.
Robert Pattinson picked up the coveted Choice Hottie award at the TCAs in 2009. He also took home a surf board for Choice Movie Actor: Drama for his work as hunky vampire Edward Cullen in "Twilight." The flick dominated the Teen Choice Awards that year, picking up Choice Movie: Drama, Choice Movie: Romance, Choice Movie Actress: Drama for Kristen Stewart, Choice Movie: Villain for Cam Gigandet, Choice Movie: Fresh Face both male and female for Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene, Choice Movie: Liplock for Robert and Kristen, and Choice Movie: Rumble for Robert and Cam's vampire fight.
Megan Fox picked up the Choice Hottie: Female surfboard in 2009, beating out Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens and Blake Lively. The beauty also picked up Choice Movie Actress: Summer for her work as Mikaela in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."
From Edward to Jacob! 2010 saw the other "Twilight" hunk, Taylor Lautner, take home Choice Hottie: Male, this time for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." The movie nabbed the Choice Movie: Fantasy award, with Taylor also taking home Choice Movie Actor: Fantasy.
Megan Fox took home Choice Hottie: Female in 2010. She also won Choice Movie Actress: Horror/Thriller for "Jennifer's Body."

Her song "Who Says" won Choice Music: Single, and her group at the time, Selena Gomez & the Scene, won Choice Music: Group, beating out other acts like Far East Movement, Black Eyed Peas, The Script and the cast of "Glee."
Ian Somerhalder won Choice Hottie: Male in 2012, beating out fellow fictional vampire Robert Pattinson, hunks Ryan Gosling and Liam Hemsworth and the previous year's winner, Justin Bieber. Ian also won Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi that year for his work as Damon Salvatore on "The Vampire Diaries."
Miley Cyrus' turn! After years of being nominated, Miley won Choice Hottie: Female in 2012. She beat out the previous year's winner, Selena Gomez, as well as Katy Perry, Rihanna and Kate Upton.
The era of Harry Styles! The One Direction hunk not only picked up Choice Hottie: Male at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, besting Justin Bieber, Liam Hemsworth, Taylor Lautner and Channing Tatum, but also won Choice Smile. His boy band won Choice Music: Group and Choice Music: Love Song for "Little Things" that year as well.
Selena Gomez picked up her second Choice Hottie: Female win in 2013. Her song "Come & Get It" earned her another surfboard for Choice Music: Break-Up Song, and she also nabbed Choice Summer Music Artist: Female.
After Harry Styles won Choice Hottie: Male in 2013, One Direction fans decided that all five guys deserved a shot in 2014. Not only did the whole group win Choice Hottie, but they won every category they were nominated in (a whopping 10)!
And Selena Gomez wins Choice Hottie: Female a third time! But she unfortunately lost out to Choice Hottie: Male winner Harry Styles for Best Smile in 2014.
For the second year in a row, multiple men took home Choice Hottie: Male! One Direction proved victorious once more in 2015 — this time sans one of their most beloved members, Zayn Malik — and took home eight of their 10 other nominations as well.
Now that an entire music group had taken home the Choice Hottie: Male prize, it was only fair for the ladies to do that too! Fifth Harmony won 2015's Choice Hottie: Female Award, as well as Choice Music Group: Female, while their song "Worth It" won Choice Music: Summer Song.
Setting a record! It was almost time for Harry Styles to go solo, so that also meant it was time for him to win Choice Male: Hottie solo at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards. Harry picked up that surfboard — his fourth win, a new record — while his group One Direction collected Choice Music: Group, Choice Music Single: Group for "Home" and Choice Music: Love Song for "Perfect."
At the 2016 Teen Choice Awards, Kendall Jenner won Choice Hottie: Female as well as Choice Model.
Shawn Mendes beat out four-time winner Harry Styles, former One Direction members Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, and former winner Justin Bieber for the honor of Choice Hottie: Male in 2017. Shawn's other win of the night was Choice Summer Music Artist: Male.
After going solo and leaving the ladies of Fifth Harmony behind, Camila Cabello took home Choice Hottie: Female in 2017. She also won Choice Summer Music Artist: Female and Choice Music Single: Female Artist for "Crying in the Club."
The reigning Choice Hottie: Male? Cole Sprouse, who bested previous winners Zac Efron and Shawn Mendes — as well as superstar Chris Hemsworth — in 2018. He also took home surfboards for Choice Drama TV Actor for his work on "Riverdale," plus Choice TV Ship and Choice Liplock with "Riverdale" co-star and then-girlfriend Lili Reinhart.
A year after Camila Cabello became the first member of Fifth Harmony to win the Choice Hottie: Female award as an individual, her former bandmate, Lauren Jauregui, took home the surfboard in the same category, besting previous winners Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez. Lauren also took home the surfboard for Choice Electronic/Dance Song during the 2018 Teen Choice Awards for "All Night," her collaboration with Steve Aoki. Fifth Harmony, meanwhile, lost the two awards for which the group earned nominations: Choice Music Group and Choice Fandom.
