From 2010 to 2011, she was on four episodes of ABC's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." Matt Camden (left) — the eldest child in the Camden family — was played by Barry Watson.
_
After portraying Matt Camden on "7th Heaven," Barry Watson — who battled Hodgkin's lymphoma toward the end of his run on the show — landed main roles on the short-lived television shows "What About Brian" and "Samantha Who?" He had a recurring role as Steven Spence — Serena Van Der Woodsen's love interest — on The CW's "Gossip Girl" in 2012 and also popped up on "Hart of Dixie" and "Masters of Sex." In 2019, he appeared in the family film "A Dog's Way Home" alongside Bryce Dallas Howard and Ashley Judd. In 2022, he began starring on Ava DuVernay's superhero drama series "Naomi." Barry was previously married to Laura Payne-Gabriel from 1996 to 2002 and Tracy Hutson — one of the original style consultants on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" — from 2006 to 2011. They share sons Oliver and Felix. In 2014, he married actress Natasha Gregson Wagner (she's the daughter of late actress Natalie Wood). They share a daughter, Clover.

_
Not so little anymore! David Gallagher showed up on several television shows including "Numb3rs," "Bones," "Without a Trace," "Smallville," "The Vampire Diaries" and "Criminal Minds" after starring on "7th Heaven." The New York City native, who last popped up on an episode of "S.W.A.T." in 2020 — but hasn't hit a red carpet since 2011 (seen here) — also lent his voice to Riku in the "Kingdom Hearts" video games. Next up, he'll portray Joe Keller on the crime series "D.P.D. Echo 1."

Meet the parents! Catherine Hicks and Stephen Collins portrayed the matriarch and patriarch of the Camden family.
_
Catherine Hicks was already an established actress before joining the "7th Heaven" cast — she earned an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in 1980's "Marilyn: The Untold Story" — and she kept working when the show ended, appearing in the films "Ghost Phone: Phone Calls from the Dead," "Dorfman in Love" and "The Dog Who Saved Easter." She's also been in the television movies "Borderline Murder," "A Christmas Wedding Tail," "Win, Lose, or Love" and "Honeymoon From Hell." Catherine is still married to special effects makeup artist Kevin Yagher, with whom she shares one child.
_
Stephen Collins went on to appear on other television shows including ABC's "No Ordinary Family" and NBC's "Revolution." However, in 2014 (seen here), he admitted to having engaged in "inappropriate sexual conduct with three female minors" in the years 1973, 1982 and 1994. Since then, his career has plummeted.

Ashlee Simpson played Cecilia Smith, Simon's girlfriend.
_
Following her recurring role on "7th Heaven," Ashlee Simpson launched a solo music career. While working on her debut studio album, Jessica Simpson's younger sister starred on her own MTV series, "The Ashlee Simpson Show," from 2004 to 2005. "Autobiography," her debut studio album that featured the breakthrough single "Pieces of Me," was released in 2004. In 2005, she released her second studio album, "I Am Me," which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum by the RIAA. In addition to portraying Roxie Hart in a West End production of "Chicago," she released her third album, "Bittersweet World," in 2008. Ashlee was previously married to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz from 2008 to 2011 (they share son Bronx) and in 2014 wed actor Evan Ross, whose mother is famed Motown singer Diana Ross. Ashlee and Evan — who released the EP "Ashlee + Evan" in 2018 and co-starred on a short-lived reality show together — share daughters Ziggy and Jagger.

The pair share two daughters, Ryan and Lulu.
