Reality TV villains: Where are they now?

Reality television has gifted us with some unforgettable moments, but it's the villains that keep us coming back for more. In honor of one of the pioneers of reality TV villains, Spencer Pratt, turning 34 on Aug. 14, 2017, we're taking a look at where some of the greatest small screen bad guys ended up! Spencer started his villainous reign back in 2007 when he dated Lauren Conrad's bestie Heidi Montag — and found himself on LC's enemy list. So where is he now?

Spencer Pratt has certainly come a long way! Once "The Hills" ended, Spencer and wife Heidi Montag fought to stay relevant, which included two stints on Britain's "Celebrity Big Brother" in 2013 and 2017 and a 2015 turn on "Marriage Boot Camp." But the celebrity couple unleashed their most exciting news to date in early 2017 when they opened up about being pregnant with their first child, a son.

Everything about Abby Lee Miller screams… no, literally, that's it. She just screams, and did just that on-camera for seven seasons of "Dance Mom" starting in 2011. But her financial issues off-screen and her bad behavior on-camera caught up with her, and she eventually found herself in heaps of legal trouble.

Aside from battling emotional distress and assault charges from her dancers, Abby Lee Miller also had money problems. She filed for bankruptcy shortly before her "Dance Moms" show hit the small screen, but that wouldn't be the end of the drama. In 2015, she was charged with fraud after reportedly creating a secret bank account to hide money she earned from teaching masterclasses. Those charges eventually snowballed and landed the reality TV star a 366-day prison sentence, which she started serving in July 2017.

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth took the first season of "The Apprentice" by storm in 2004. She quickly became the "woman America loved to hate," although she would later argue that the show's producers manipulated footage to make her look like a villain. Where is she now?

Omarosa tragically lost her boyfriend, actor Michael Clarke Duncan, to a sudden heart attack in 2012 and later became an ordained Baptist minister. After her former boss on "The Apprentice," Donald Trump, decided to run for president, Omarosa served as the his campaign's director of African-American outreach. Once he won, Omarosa took on a role in the White House: She's an assistant to the president and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison. In April 2017, she married Florida pastor John Allen Newman.

Richard Hatch was that odious, naked fellow whose refusal to wear clothing on "Survivor: Borneo" helped him outlast the rest of the field on his way to a million-dollar purse .. which, ironically enough, led to him being convicted of tax evasion in 2006, after which he served 51 months in a federal prison — a place where they really encourage you to wear clothing.

After bouncing back from his money problems, Richard Hatch returned to reality TV for Season 17 of "The Biggest Loser" in 2016. Though he was eliminated during Week 4, Richard started making progress toward slimming down his physique. He's been happily married to partner Emiliano Cabral since 2005.

Sometimes you just get a name right! "Evel" Dick Donato was the Season 8 winner of "Big Brother" — and he certainly lived up to his nickname! He was known for his no-holds-barred approach with the other houseguests and was even stuck in the house with his estranged daughter, Daniele. But it wouldn't be his only time on the CBS reality show…

"Evel" Dick Donato returned for Season 13 of "Big Brother" only to leave the show on the sixth day of shooting, citing "personal reasons." It was later revealed on Season 5 of VH1's "Couples Therapy" that Dick had learned from the "BB" medical staff that he was HIV positive, which the reality star attributed to a drink-fueled dalliance with a Las Vegas stripper. Nowadays, according to his very active Twitter feed, Mr. Evel Dick spends most of his time critiquing the most recent season of "Big Brother" and commenting on current events.

Ask Janice Dickinson if she can name the first-ever supermodel and she'll give you the answer: According to her, it's her. But in the '00s, Janice served as the sharp-tongued judge of four cycles of "America's Next Top Model." Her antics and criticisms went too far even for Tyra Banks, which resulted in her getting fired from the series.

Janice Dickinson didn't shy away from the spotlight after her "America's Next Top Model" days. She did a stint on "Celebrity Rehab" in 2010 and in 2015 joined the cast of the British hit "Celebrity Big Brother," where she became the seventh celeb evicted from the house. Janice hit a rocky patch in 2016, the year she opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis, but by the end of the year she had happy news to report: The model married Robert "Rocky" Gerner that December. Most recently, Janice popped up on an episode of E!'s "Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry," where she believes she connected with late friend John Belushi.

In 2004, Pennsylvania nurse Kate Gosselin and her IT nerd husband Jon Gosselin welcomed sextuplets into their family, which already included twin girls, and "Jon & Kate Plus 8" was born. Matriarch Kate proved to be as tender and empathetic as Godzilla making his way through downtown Tokyo. She assiduously berated her then-husband yet lapped up the attention the newfound fame brought her family. They divorced, and the show was canceled in 2011. But where did they end up?

Kate Gosselin never gave up after TLC cancelled her family's show. The consummate reality star fought to stay relevant and get her family back on TV. She did stints on television in the interim — like an awkward appearance on the "Today" show and a season of "Celebrity Apprentice." Eventually, TLC made her dreams come true when the network greenlit a new incarnation of her show, "Kate Plus 8," in early 2015. It's still on the air today.

As for Jon Gosselin? Well, he's had an interesting ride. He had a few public romances after Kate, which included younger women and a tabloid reporter, but it was his careers after reality television that raised eyebrows. From doing time as a DJ to working at a local Applebee's, Jon's latest job takes the cake. He worked at a male strip club in New Jersey!

Well, he wasn't the nicest judge in reality show history! In fact, he might have been one of the most brutal. But Simon Cowell certainly made a name for himself! In 2004 and 2010, the "American Idol" judge was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people, largely due to his tough-love commentary and the way he seemed to pluck pop stars out of obscurity. He ended up leaving the show in 2010, but his time on TV was not up!

Simon Cowell has remained a fixture on television. Aside from helming the judging panel on "American Idol," Simon always had a hand in his British show "The X Factor." In his personal life, Simon has settled down a bit, as he shares a son, Eric, with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.

With the bar for acceptable behavior already set so precipitously low, how obnoxious must you be to get kicked off the first season of "Jersey Shore?" The answer to that age-old query can be summed up with two wildly spray-tanned words: Angelina Pivarnick. After making the likes of Snooki and The Situation look positively refined, Angelina returned to the Shore for a subsequent season but never clicked with her castmates.

Post-"Jersey Shore," Angelina Pivarnick tried to make it in the music industry: In 2011, she released a dance single, "Gotta Get Out." It didn't take off, and she's been working as an EMT in New York City since 2016. She is currently engaged to Louie Gero.

One of the most hated "The Bachelor" stars in history? Well, he shares the honor with someone else on the list, but Jake Pavelka certainly ranks high up there. The star of Season 14 of the show picked stereotypical bad girl Vienna Girardi (she's up next), but where did he end up?

After "The Bachelor," Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi's relationship went down in flames — resulting in an awkward face-to-face mediated by none other than Chris Harrison. Jake appeared on some other shows too, including "Drop Dead Diva" in 2010 and "The Bold and the Beautiful" in 2011 and served as a guest host at Chippendales in Las Vegas in 2012. More recently, he's stepped out of the spotlight, shirking social media more and more and reportedly returning to his old career as a pilot.

As one of the most controversial contestants in "The Bachelor" history, Vienna Girardi didn't gain many fans during her stint on Season 14 in 2010. She was rude, spoiled and no one was shocked when her relationship with Jake Pavelka deteriorated just a few months after the show ended. But where did she end up?

Where does one begin? Danielle Staub lasted for two seasons among the table-flipping, McMansions and frozen-faced crocodile tears that make up "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." After being asked not to return, Danielle embarked on a downward spiral that saw her hit rock bottom when, in 2011, the then-48-year-old mother of two signed a three-year deal with Scores Gentleman's Club as a fully nude stripper and agreed to star in adult online content. Danielle — mercifully — reneged on the deal, was sued, then entered rehab. So where is she today?

The bad girl of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is back! Danielle Staub made headlines in March 2017 when she was spotted filming with the rest of the cast. And there was more good news in store for Danielle! A few months later, news broke that she had gotten engaged to boyfriend Marty Caffrey.

Jason Wahler was the bad-boy beau who broke Lauren Conrad's heart on "Laguna Beach" then later became more famous for his reasonably handsome mugshots. After multiple arrests, a few visits to rehab and a stint on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," it seemed as if the one-time reality star might just make it out alive. So where is he now?

Here's a very happy ending! Not only is Jason Wahler happy and sober, but he tied the knot with girlfriend Ashley Slack in October 2013. In February 2017, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child, due in August. Looks like life really turned around for Jason!

Tiffany Pollard, better known as "New York," came to us via VH1's "Flavor of Love," which then launched her spinoff, "I Love New York." The self-proclaimed HBIC — head b—- in charge — became the reigning queen of screaming matches, one-liners and ample… personality. The lady who once famously promised to "Whoop Pumkin's a–" spent a few years attempting to establish herself as an actress in Hollywood but found that reality was, well, less forgiving than reality TV. Next up, where Tiffany ended up…

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Tiffany Pollard opted to stay in the reality TV realm, starring on numerous shows. In early 2016, she appeared on Britain's "Celebrity Big Brother," where she finished in fourth place. From there she went on to join the first season of VH1's "Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn" alongside her mother, which she then followed up with E!'s "Famously Single."

Step aside, Jake Pavelka! Universally known as quite simply the worst bachelor ever, Juan Pablo Galavis went into the 18th season of "The Bachelor" with the deck stacked in his favor. He was a sexy Latino single father with an athlete's chiseled build — but then he had to go and open his mouth, continually inserting his leather loafers into the offending orifice. His relationship with "winner" Nikki Ferrell didn't last long after the show's finale, despite a last-ditch attempt to salvage the relationship on VH1's "Couples Therapy."

This may come as a shock, but Juan Pablo Galavis actually found love! He married Venezuelan beauty queen Osmariel Villalobos in August 2017 after about a year of dating. The former soccer star-turned-sports and entertainment consultant met Osmariel through friends.

After appearing on the first season of MTV's "16 and Pregnant," Farrah Abraham was cast in the spin-off series "Teen Mom," where she must have fallen in love with the idea of entertaining because she later transitioned her career to focus on adult entertainment. So where is she nowadays?

Today Farrah Abraham continues to expand her controversial empire, which has included erotic books and novelty toys in the past, while keeping herself on television. She stars on "Teen Mom OG," where she still fills the role of villain by refusing to socialize with her co-stars at any reunion events, and can next be seen on "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition."
