"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this," Travis Barker's wife, Kourtney Kardashian, wrote on Instagram, marking the first time she's publicly addressed the Sept. 1 incident.
"As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn't prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. On Sept. 1, Travis Barker's band, Blink-182, issued a brief, vague statement addressing the emergency: "Due to an urgent family matter, Travis had to return home to the States," the band tweeted.
It was apparent that something major was going on when Travis took to his Instagram Story to post pictures from the Glasgow Airport's prayer room. "Together we pray," he captioned one photo. Another photo from the London airport showed stained glass windows in a setting that appeared to be a chapel.
