On Sept. 18 — nearly a year after he and wife Princess Kate celebrated the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards in Boston — the Prince of Wales traveled to America for a two-day visit to New York City.
Though his trip is focused on his beloved Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit — where the finalists for the 2023 environmental award were announced ahead of the 2023 ceremony, which will take place in Singapore in November — Prince William made time for a few other things too.

Prince William greeted fans as he visited a FDNY Firehouse in New York City on Sept. 19, 2023.
When crowds gathered outside upon learning about the royal visitor, the future king spent time saying hello to members of the public including a group of Canadian women visiting the Big Apple on a friend's 60th birthday trip.
According to DailyMail.com, one of those senior citizens said that William joked they were "rowdy." He told another tourist he hoped to return to NYC with wife Princess Kate and their three kids.
