Danny Masterson starred as anti-establishment guy Steven Hyde.
_
Danny Masterson thrived on sitcoms after he wrapped his role as Steven Hyde on "That '70s Show." He starred on "Men at Work" from 2012 to 2014 and on "The Ranch" with Ashton Kutcher from 2016 to 2018. His career hit a wall in 2017 when the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed it was looking into claims that the actor had sexually assaulted multiple women, which led to his ouster from his Netflix show. His legal troubles didn't end there. In 2019, Danny — who's been married to model-actress Bijou Phillips (pictured), with whom he has a daughter, since 2009 — was sued, along with the Church of Scientology, by four women alleging stalking and harassment related to assault allegations against him.
In 2020, he was arrested and charged with three counts of rape for incidents that allegedly occurred between 2001 and 2003. He's maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty. In late 2022, his sexual assault trial ended in a mistrial due to a deadlocked jury. A new trial concluded in May 2023: A jury found him guilty on two of the three rape counts he was facing; the jury was deadlocked on the third.
Danny was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Sept. 7, 2023.

After Danny Masterson was found guilty of rape but before he was sentenced, four of his "That '70s Show" co-stars — Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp — wrote letters of support to the judge, People magazine and other outlets confirmed.
In Ashton's letter, he said of his friend, "As a role model, Danny has consistently been an excellent one. … I attribute not falling into the typical Hollywood life of drugs directly to Danny." Ashton also wrote that Danny "has always treated people with decency, equality and generosity." He further called Danny "an extraordinarily honest and intentional human being."
Ashton's wife, Mila, called Danny someone with "exceptional character" as well as "an outstanding role model and friend." She wrote of sensing "his innate goodness and genuine nature," further calling him "an amazing friend, confidant and, above all, an outstanding older brother figure to me" and adding that "his caring nature and ability to offer guidance have been instrumental in my growth both personally and professionally."
Kurtwood wrote in a letter, "I consider Danny to be a good friend. Our friendship revolved around work… Danny was the leader among his contemporaries in the cast. He was a tad older and much more experienced and he took that position seriously. During the 8 years we did the show, we never had the problems some other shows had with their younger cast members."
Debra wrote that on the set of their show, which ended in 2006, Danny "was well liked and very respected." She shared a story about how he sat down his teenaged co-stars and "had them all make a pact that no one would do drugs because of the nature of our show. The spotlight would be on them and he wanted everyone to succeed. … As a result, you never saw them in the tabloids. Danny made sure of that and I was so appreciative."
Other stars who wrote letters of support for Danny, according to People, include Ethan Suplee, Eric Balfour, William Baldwin (his brother-in-law), Giovanni Ribisi, Marissa Ribisi, Jonathan Tucker and siblings Jordan, Christopher, Will and Alanna Masterson.

Ashton Kutcher made headlines after starring on "That '70s Show" when he married actress Demi Moore in 2005 — and when they split in 2011. He also enjoyed big screen success in movies like "What Happens in Vegas" and "No Strings Attached." Later, he found his way back to his roots: In 2012, he started dating former on-screen love Mila Kunis; they wed in 2015 and now have two kids, Wyatt and Dimitri. Ashton, a founding partner of the venture capital firm A-Grade Investments, which has interests in Spotify and Airbnb, revisited sitcom life when he took over for Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men" from 2011 to 2015. He also starred on "The Ranch" from 2016 to 2020 with former "That '70s Show" co-star Danny Masterson. She's also continued to voice Meg Griffin on "Family Guy," a job she's had since 1999. 2022 was a busy year for the Golden Globe-nominated actress: She had an uncredited role on "The Boys," voiced the lead character on "Stoner Cats" and headlined the Netflix thriller "Luckiest Girl Alive." She married former co-star Ashton Kutcher — who was her first real-life kiss and on-screen kiss — in 2015. They have two kids together. Before Ashton, Mila had a lengthy relationship with former child star Macaulay Culkin.

He's acted steadily in movies and TV shows since wrapping "That '70s Show" and notably reunited with Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher for a few episodes of their Netflix show "The Ranch" between 2016 and 2017. Laura — who in 2021 revealed she'd left the Church of Scientology nearly fives years earlier — has also taken on the role of mom, welcoming two children — a son and a daughter — with actor Ben Foster, whom she married in 2018.

Lisa Robin Kelly played Eric's sister, Laurie Forman, on seasons 1 to 3.
_
Lisa Robin Kelly (seen here in a 2012 mugshot) had her fair share of legal issues following her 2003 exit from "That '70s Show." In 2010, she got a DUI and in 2012, she was arrested for corporal injury upon a spouse, which she denied; charges were never formally filed. In 2013, she checked into a rehab facility and days later died from accidental drug intoxication.
_
Eric's dad, Red Forman, was played by Kurtwood Smith (middle).
_
Kurtwood Smith still maintains a busy acting and voice acting schedule. In recent years, he reunited with his old "That '70s Show" co-stars on "The Ranch" and voiced characters on shows including "Rick and Morty" and "Star Trek: Lower Deck." More recently, he appeared in three episodes of the Emmy-nominated miniseries "The Dropout" in 2022 and the sci-fi flick "Firestarter." Don also popped up on the 2023 spinoff series "That '90s Show."
