Feuding celebrities are everywhere in Hollywood, but what about the ones who actually make up? We're taking a look at stars who buried the hatchet after publicly feuding…
For eight years, actor Charlie Sheen and prolific TV producer Chuck Lorre collaborated on the wildly successful CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men." But in 2011, despite his claims that he was "winning," Charlie had a public meltdown that saw him verbally attacking Chuck, which led to the Emmy nominee's firing and triggered a $100 million lawsuit they eventually settled. But bad (tiger) blood remained. In 2018, Charlie apologized to Chuck, admitting on "The Kyle and Jackie O Show" that he'd "kind of poisoned the waters."
"I take responsibility for all of that. I was really stupid and juvenile. [Chuck]'s one of the best and the brightest that this industry has ever had the pleasure of witnessing," he said.
In April 2023 — 12 years after their public falling out — news broke revealing that Charlie and Chuck had buried the hatchet and were back in business together again: Deadline reported that they were reuniting on the Max comedy series "How to Be a Bookie," which debuts in November 2023. Chuck, a co-writer and executive producer, gave Charlie a recurring role on the show starring Sebastian Maniscalco.
In November 2023, Chuck opened up about how they made things right. "I was nervous, but almost as soon as we started talking, I remembered, we were friends once," he told Variety. "And that friendship just suddenly seemed to be there again. I don't want to be too mawkish about it, but it was healing," he added. "And [Charlie] was also totally game to make fun of himself. When he came to the table read … I walked up, and we hugged. It was just great."

Taylor Swift's feud with Katy Perry kicked off when the "I Kissed a Girl" chart-topper accused the country-pop superstar of stealing her backup dancers in 2014. The duo — who also dated John Mayer within a few years of each other — wrote songs about their drama ("Bad Blood" and "Swish Swish," anyone?) and cryptically spoke about their feud on social media and in interviews, with Katy telling late night host James Corden, "[Taylor] started it, and it's time for her to finish it." But in 2018, Katy sent Taylor a literal olive branch and a sweet note to make amends. "We've been on good terms for a while," Taylor said on Capital FM's "Capital Breakfast" show in June 2019. "She sent me a really nice note and olive branch… like, an actual olive branch … a while ago, and from that point on, we've been on good terms." They further confirmed their truce when Katy appeared in Taylor's mid-2019 music video for her hit "You Need to Calm Down." In 2020, Taylor also sent Katy a hand-embroidered baby blanket following the birth of her first child, daughter Daisy Dove.

On Feb. 11, 2023, Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita sent shockwaves through the Bravoverse when they took to Instagram to share photos of themselves hanging out together in Las Vegas. "5 hour lunch! Lots to talk about. Lots of laughs too! Reunited and it feels so good!" Teresa captioned a slideshow of two photos with her fellow "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" OG.
Jacquelin, who left "RHONJ" after season 7 in 2016, had a little more to say, explaining that their reunion had nothing to do with the show that made them stars: She's gearing up to move from Las Vegas to Orange County, California, and isn't interested in returning to "RHONJ." She also isn't open to starring on spinoff "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip," she explained, because although it "sounds fun," she wouldn't be able to get a babysitter for her 13-year-old son, Nicholas. "Our friendship rekindling has nothing to do with our mutual disdain for Melissa [Gorga]. Teresa and I had a great friendship BEFORE the show and now that all the stress, toxicity, outside influences, and pressures from being on a show together are gone, and life is good for both of us, it is easier to forgive and maintain a friendship. It's that simple. #NewBeginnings for REAL this time! Lucy and Ethel are BACK and living our BEST lives. Life is good," she wrote.
The feud between the two women reached a head when Jacqueline made disparaging comments about Teresa's relationship with her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, after Teresa said that she would leave Joe if he were deported to his native Italy after serving time behind bars for fraud. (He was, in fact, deported, and Teresa soon filed for divorce.) Jacqueline then called Teresa fame-hungry and said that she didn't truly love Joe.

In 2015, blink-182's infighting blew up as drummer Travis Barker and bassist/co-vocalist Mark Hoppus claimed guitarist/co-vocalist Tom DeLonge had quit the Southern California pop-punk band and pulled out of plans to record a new album without telling them himself while Tom accused the guys of demanding he quit his side projects. "I think [Tom's] just bummed because Mark and I were finally honest," Travis told Rolling Stone. "We always covered up for him before. … It's hard to cover for someone who's disrespectful and ungrateful." Months later, Alkaline Trio singer-guitarist Matt Skiba started filling in and soon became a permanent fixture in the band. Years went by, but hints of a thaw emerged in 2021 when Tom revealed to Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe that he and Mark had been "able to completely repair" their friendship after they reconnected amid Mark's cancer battle and Tom's divorce from first wife Jennifer Jenkins.
Then in October 2022, blink-182 dropped "Edging" — their first single with Tom in more than a decade — and announced that he'd rejoined the band he helped found in 1992. The trio performed live in 2023 — their first show together in nine years — at the Coachella music festival then kicked off a world tour.

Adrienne Bailon and Kim Kardashian butted heads in 2014 when, during an interview with "Latina" magazine, Adrienne called her former boyfriend — Kim's little brother, Rob Kardashian — "disloyal." She also said that the "Kardashian label" hurt her career. Kim clapped back at the former "The Cheetah Girls" star on Twitter, writing, "Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is because she is talking about a Kardashian. … So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever." Happily, Adrienne and Kim squashed their beef in 2017 and are now friends again. Kim was even a guest on Adrienne's talk show, "The Real," and shared a snap on Instagram of daughter North West dancing to The Cheetah Girls with the caption, "Should I break the news to North that this could [have] been her auntie?!?!?!"

Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth were mortal enemies during their "Beverly Hills, 90210" days in the '90s. The two actresses famously disliked each other during a time when Shannen had a reputation for being one of Hollywood's most difficult mean girls. At one point, things almost got physical. "We took it outside," Jennie admitted on "Watch What Happens Live" in 2019. Luckily, the two reconciled years ago and were able to amicably co-star on the 2019 "90210" reboot, "BH90210." Shannen told Entertainment Weekly in 2008, "I think when you're 18, your personalities conflict, and then you meet up 10 or 15 years later and the playing ground is totally different and you're fine. … The first moment I saw her, it was like, 'OK, this is going to be good.' It was like, 'Hey.' Then a hug. It's like going to a war together. You've already been in the trenches together. You learned so much from that first war. That second war, you know what you need to do to make the set the most peaceful environment you can possibly have."

Like their "Beverly Hills, 90210" predecessors, "90210" stars Shenae Grimes-Beech and AnnaLynne McCord did not get along. The actresses butted heads on set and did not patch things up until the show ended in 2013. "We were at each other's throats for five years," AnnaLynne said on "The Wendy Williams Show" in 2018. "And the day before we wrapped, Shenae calls me and was like, 'Hey, I can't believe it's over.' I'm like, 'B****?!' I end up at her wedding in England and now we're friends. We have dinner dates. It's awesome. I love her." In 2021 and 2022, they teamed up to co-host the "Unzipped" podcast.

Jennie Garth wasn't the only co-star with whom Shannen Doherty beefed. The "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress also had issues with "Charmed" co-star Alyssa Milano. The two started out as friends but soon clashed over Shannen's alleged jealousy. Their disagreements became so volatile that Shannen was reportedly fired from the show after Alyssa gave producer Aaron Spelling an ultimatum (Alyssa denies the claim). "There was too much drama on the set and not enough passion for the work," Shannen told "Entertainment Tonight" at the time. "I'm 30 years old and I don't have time for drama in my life anymore." Alyssa and Shannen made amends after Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. "I think we're just at ages now that what happens 15 years ago, or however long ago that was, it's irrelevant. … I think that what she has gone through, [and] motherhood in my life, I think it just changes people. I'm so happy that she's feeling well. I prayed for her every day that she would feel well and I can't wait to see her," Alyssa told E!'s "Daily Pop."

Everyone loves the "Queer Eye" cast — but they didn't always love each other. Antoni Porowski and Karamo Brown butted heads during the first season of Netflix's "Queer Eye" reboot in 2018. The co-stars were constantly hearing rumors about one another and were "thrust" into an "extreme, odd situation" working "80 hours a week" with strangers, Antoni said on Karamo's podcast. "My castmate in 'Queer Eye,' Antoni, people didn't know that we had an extreme amount of conflict," Karamo told E! News in May 2019. "We did not talk to each other at all during season 1 even though we were shooting together. On camera, it was about that person and about creating something successful and so that was genuine, but off camera, the minute that camera stopped rolling, 'Girl, don't come near me.'" The two eventually reconciled and are good friends today.

Two of pop music's biggest stars feuded for years. Lady Gaga and Madonna's beef started in 2011 when Gaga released her single "Born This Way." Fans accused the "A Star is Born" actress of copying Madonna's 1989 song "Express Yourself" and the Queen of Pop herself fanned the flames by calling Gaga's single "reductive." Their feud continued for more than eight years. "She wouldn't look me in the eye and tell me that I was reductive. Telling me you think I'm a piece of s*** through the media? It's like a guy passing me a note through his friend," Gaga said of Madonna in her 2017 Netflix documentary, "Gaga: Five Foot Two." Madonna and Gaga buried the hatchet in 2019 when they were snapped sharing an embrace at the Material Girl's Academy Awards afterparty. Gaga has publicly showed her support for Madonna several times since then.

Hollywood's most famous frenemies might just be Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. The "The Simple Life" co-stars started out as best friends but soon became adversaries — they hardly shared any screen time on the last two seasons of "The Simple Life" and Paris later said that Nicole "knows what she did." By 2014, however, the duo had patched things up. "Paris is somebody that's been in my life since day one," Nicole said on "Watch What Happens Live" in 2018. "An idea of a true friend is somebody that's going to be there with you through and through. … I haven't spoken to her in a while, but we are very good friends. I love her and love her family and have a lot of respect for her." Nicole was on hand when Paris tied the knot in the summer of 2022.

Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell were the industry's biggest — and only — black supermodels of the '90s. Sadly, their unique status as minority catwalkers pitted them against each other. "I got to Paris and it was very difficult. I did very well, very fast," Tyra said on the Norwegian-Swedish talk show "Skavlan" in 2016. "But then the industry was saying, 'Look out, Naomi Campbell, here comes Tyra Banks. Naomi Campbell, sit your butt down: This younger one is coming to take your place.' It was really unfair to her because the other models that weren't black … they weren't saying, 'Look out, Christy Turlington, this cheekbone girl got cheekbones higher than yours! Get back!'" The outside drama fueled their feud and Naomi even went so far as to get Tyra fired from jobs, Tyra claimed. These days, however, the two are friends. "It does bug me and irk me that two women of the same ilk — we're women of color — have to be pitted against each other," Naomi told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" in 2019. "You can have more than one woman of color in a fashion show. Unfortunately, back then, it was like, 'Okay, we'll just have one,' so the other one would feel like, 'Oh, she put me out.' … I'm very proud of Tyra and what she's done with 'America's Next Top Model.' … I'm proud of her. I'm proud to know her." She also said that they have "a good friendship."

Howard Stern and Kathie Lee Gifford feuded for three decades. Even though the radio host called the morning show host the "world's dumbest person," somehow, the duo managed to make amends. "Howard Stern had a feud with me going on 30 years," Kathie said on the "Today" show in 2018. "I never met him. I never listened to his show. He hated my guts for 30 years. Hated my husband, hated my children. Hated everything I stood for. One day, right here, I was up in the makeup room, and all of a sudden, he's here to announce 'America's Got Talent.' I just feel the Lord saying very clearly to me, 'Go down and say hello to Howard.' I'm standing right here… and I go, 'Howard, Howard, I'm Kathie Lee. I thought it was time I say hello. I want to wish you the very best with your show.' And I left." Howard then called Kathie Lee to apologize for his decades-long animosity and she accepted his mea culpa. The following year, he sent her "the hugest bouquet of red roses" to congratulate her on her final "Today" show taping in April 2019, Kathie Lee revealed.

One of the most random celebrity feuds to hit Hollywood was the public spat between broadcaster Piers Morgan and pop superstar Ariana Grande. In 2018, the two went back and forth over Twitter after Piers claimed that Ariana used "nudity" to sell records. Ariana responded to his criticism, explaining that she uses "talent AND my sexuality all the time because i choose to." She continued, "Women can be sexual AND talented, naked and dignified. It's OUR choice. And we will keep fighting til people understand. I say this with all due respect, but thank you, next. I look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do." One year later, the duo crossed paths at a restaurant and made amends. "After our little Twitter spat a few months ago, we randomly bumped into each other in a L.A. restaurant last night, she joined me for 'a chat' and two hours later, we were still chatting. We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed and we bonded. Turns out we really like each other.," Piers captioned this selfie on Instagram.

Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor's feud is part of one of the biggest Hollywood scandals of the 20th century. In the late 1950s, Debbie's husband, Eddie Fisher, began an affair with Elizabeth after the death of her third husband, Eddie's friend Mike Todd. The affair soon made headlines and Eddie left Debbie to marry Elizabeth in 1959. Their union caused such a scandal that Eddie's eponymous television show was canceled. Fast-forward nearly 20 years later and Debbie and Elizabeth were once again friends. "I was going to London on the Queen Elizabeth ship and I looked up and I saw tons of luggage going by me and birdcages and dog cages and nurses and I realized Elizabeth was on the same ship as me," Debbie told The Hollywood Reporter. "I sent a note to her room and she sent a note back to mine saying that we should have dinner and get this over with and have a good time. Because we were very good friends when we were 17 and went to school together on the MGM lot. And we had a wonderful evening with a lot of laughs." The two iconic actresses later starred together in 2001's "These Old Broads."

What's hip-hop music without a few diss tracks? Rappers Drake and Meek Mill became enemies in 2015 when Meek tweeted that the former "Degrassi" star didn't write his own lyrics. Drake didn't take too kindly to that and promptly dropped two scathing diss tracks about the Philly rapper including the hit "Back to Back." The pair put their differences behind them in 2018 when they performed together at Boston's TD Garden. "This really gave me peace of mind tonight," Drake wrote on Instagram of the show. "Healing and moving forward created one of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career." In 2019, the rappers dropped their collaboration "Going Bad."

Solange Knowles and JAY-Z might be related, but that didn't stop the two from having some serious issues. Back in 2014, Solange was caught on camera physically attacking JAY-Z on an elevator after the Met Gala. Security camera footage was leaked and fans speculated about what could have caused their altercation. The Carter-Knowles family never revealed specifics and instead shared in a statement that "the most important thing is that our family has worked through it." Continued the statement, "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family… At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family."

Former child stars Josh Peck and Drake Bell fell out when Josh married longtime girlfriend Paige O'Brien in July 2017 and didn't invited Drake to the wedding. "When you're not invited to the wedding, the message is clear," Drake wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "Loyalty is key. ALWAYS remember where you came from… True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss you, brotha." The "Drake & Josh" co-stars eventually patched things up after Drake apologized to Josh and Paige for bringing so much negativity to their nuptials. But things took another turn between the duo in 2022 when Josh said on a podcast that he essentially ordered Drake to apologize to Paige. Drake later said on his own podcast that things went down quite differently. (Drake's then-wife, Janet Von Schmeling, even called Josh a liar.) Drake also alleged that Josh pitched a "Drake & Josh" reboot that leaned heavily on harmful stereotypes about Mexican people.
