Mystery hospitalization
On Aug. 20, actress and reality TV star Tori Spelling announced that she'd been quietly hospitalized for four days.
"4th day here and I'm missing my kiddos so much," the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress captioned an image of an IV in her hand and a hospital band around her wrist showing that she was admitted on Aug. 17. "Grateful and so proud of my strong, brave, resilient and kind to the core children who remain positive no matter what comes my way," she wrote on Instagram.
The reason for Tori's hospitalization isn't known. On Aug. 21, Page Six published video and photos of Tori looking distraught and unsteady while being escorted to an SUV in a wheelchair after being discharged. Nearly a week after she was sent home, Tori had yet to say any more.
Her approach to getting press has been fueling friction with estranged husband Dean McDermott, DailyMail.com reported on Aug. 26. Dean, who in June announced he and Tori had split then took down his post, "is at his wits end when it comes to Tori, even when he feels bad for her, he questions what she is doing next," said the source. "Now with Tori's living arrangements, health concerns and drama-charged life, Dean is trying to navigate through it all and be there for her and the kids through the tough times and to steer clear when Tori is being Tori."
According to DailyMail.com's source, "Dean is really trying to figure it all out, but Tori is making that difficult. Dean wants to figure everything out behind closed doors and Tori is interested in making everything public and having people feel bad for her. They can't get on the same page, and it looks to Dean that she doesn't want the help, which is very frustrating. There is going to be more of the same in the immediate future and Dean hates it because he doesn't want to be looked at as the bad guy."

Final resting place?
Sandra Bullock is making plans to say goodbye to her longtime partner, Bryan Randall.
DailyMail.com reported on Aug. 21 that the Oscar-winning actress is mulling a return to the Three Bees at Harbour Island — a compound of villas in the Bahamas — to scatter her late partner's ashes.
It's believed that Sandra and Bryan quietly exchanged vows in a non-legally-binding ceremony in front of a small group of family and friends on a beach there in December 2017.
Bryan, who dated Sandra for eight years, died on Aug. 5 after a secret three-year battle with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

R.I.P.
Heaven has gained another tough guy.
Terry Funk, one of the innovators of professional wrestling, passed away at 79 on Aug. 23.
One of the original and most iconic "hardcore wrestlers," Terry came into the wrestling world in the mid-'60s and continued some semblance of involvement in the industry for five decades. He held championships in multiple wrestling organizations including the WWF (now the WWE).
He also starred in Hollywood films "Road House," "Over The Top" and "The Ringer," among others. He performed stunts in several of the "Rambo" films as well.
After news of his death emerged, Hulk Hogan said on social media there was "only one" Terry Funk. Ric Flair added, "In My Entire Life, I've Never Met A Guy Who Worked Harder."

"Lesbian vibes"
Whoopi Goldberg is coming clean about her sexuality again.
She's straight, but she's aware that people — including her former "The View" co-host Raven-Symone — have wondered otherwise. On a recent episode of "The Best Podcast Ever with Raven and Miranda," Raven revealed she had an attraction to Whoopi, claiming the EGOT winner gives off "lesbian vibes."
"Women have been asking me this for as long as I've been around, I am not a lesbian. But I know lots of them, and I've played them on television," Whoopi said. The "Cosby Show" alum isn't alone in believing Whoopi is part of the LGBTQ+ community.
The "Color Purple" actress said she has to set boundaries with gay friends. "I'll tell them, 'I'm not gonna kiss you, but I'll kiss you over here, I'll do this, but I'm not going to do this' … and they're like, 'OK!'" Whoopi explained.

Flooded
Hurricane Hilary left a lasting mark on the home that former reality TV star Stassi Schroeder, who's pregnant, shares with husband Beau Clark.
The couple's nursery flooded on Aug. 20 during the extremely rare West Coast hurricane-turned-tropical storm. The former "Vanderpump Rules" stars shared video of water coming out of two lights. Water also poured in from several windows, causing a wall to begin cracking.
"And I was having anxiety about getting the blinds and curtains done in time. My hormones have me legit sobbing right now. Our nursery," Stassi captioned an Instagram Story.
The couple placed towels on the floor to try to soak up some of the water. "New baby's nursery. What are the odds that we can fix this before the baby arrives?" Beau captioned his own video while asking for general contractor referrals. Hilary broke several rainfall records in Los Angeles.
Baby bliss

The star, who's been dating model-actor Oli Green since 2022, is also a mom to daughter Marlowe, 11, with ex Tom Sturridge.
