"Married… With Children" and "Sons of Anarchy" star Katey Sagal appeared on a few episodes of son Jackson White's series "Tell Me Lies" in 2022 playing — who else? — his character's troubled mother. "This my real mom playing my fake mom making me really uncomfortable in a show about fake a** people definitely watch," Jackson — whose father, drummer Jack White, was married to Katey in the '90s — wrote alongside a photo of them working together that he shared on Instagram. Katey posted the same pic, writing, "I am so excited to have been included in this highly addictive new show! Watch!!! Ahhhh familia. Atta boy #proudmom."

Adam Sandler, wife Jackie Sandler and daughters Sunny Sandler and Sadie Sandler are set to star in a movie adaptation of Fiona Rosenblooms 2005 novel "You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah!" for Netflix, it was announced in 2022. The comedy, which will be produced through Adam's Happy Madison company, follows the drama that ensues when a girl's bat mitzvah plans go awry. Adam's "Uncut Gems" co-star Idina Menzel and comedian Sarah Sherman will co-star.

Danny DeVito teamed up with Lucy DeVito — his eldest daughter with ex Rhea Perlman — for the FXX and Hulu animated series "Little Demon" in 2022. Danny voices the character of Satan while Lucy voices his daughter, Chrissy.

Two of Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky's kids appeared in "Thor: Love and Thunder" in 2022. One of their twin sons, Tristan, portrayed a younger version of his dad's titular character while their daughter, India, played the character of Love. "They really wanted to be in it," Chris told entertainment reporter Kevin McCarthy, adding that director Taika Waititi and co-stars Christian Bale and Natalie Portman also let their children appear in the film. "It felt sort of like a one-off fun family experience. I don't want them to go and be child stars and actors… They loved it [and] had a great time."

In 2021, real-life mother-daughter duo Andie MacDowell and Margaret Qualley played a mother and daughter on the Netflix limited series "MAID" in which Margaret stars as Alex, a single mom who leaves behind her abusive boyfriend and finds work as a maid. Andie portrays Paula, Alex's mom who struggles with mental health issues. The 10-episode series received rave reviews from critics as well as three Golden Globe nominations including best actress and best supporting actress in a miniseries for Margaret and Andie, respectively. Margaret also earned a Primetime Emmy nod for best actress in a limited or anthology series or movie.

Eugene Levy had to look no further than his offspring for his latest success! He teamed up with son Dan Levy to create the hit Pop TV show "Schitt's Creek," on which both starred alongside another family member — Eugene's daughter and Dan's sister, Sarah Levy. The Canadian comedy, which debuted in 2015 and ran for six seasons, swept all the major comedy categories during the 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards including outstanding lead actor for Eugene and outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series for Dan.

The late, great Carrie Fisher and daughter Billie Lourd worked together in two films in the "Star Wars" sequel trilogy — 2015's "Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens" and 2017's "Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi." Carrie, of course, reprised her iconic franchise role as Leia Organa, while Billie portrayed Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix.

Henry Fonda shared the screen with activist-actress daughter Jane Fonda in what would be his last feature film: 1981's "On Golden Pond." In the family drama, which was adapted from Ernest Thompson's 1979 play of the same name, Jane played her real-life father's on-screen daughter, Chelsea Thayer Wayne. Henry and Jane even received a pair of Oscar nominations — best actor and best supporting actress — for their portrayals. Henry took home the award.

Michael also had a small, uncredited role in another film in which his father starred: 1966's "Cast a Giant Shadow."

The child star won an Oscar for her work in the film, and she and her old man teamed up on the big screen twice again: in 1976's "Nickelodeon" and in 1980's "Circle of Two," in which Tatum starred and Ryan had a small uncredited role.
