Another movie remake is coming our way and in this case, we couldn't be more excited! "The Grinch," a computer-animated adaptation of the Dr. Seuss book, hits theaters on Nov. 9, 2018. In celebration of the movie's release, Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the cast of the 2000 live-action remake, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." It's been nearly two decades since "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" hit theaters, and Jim Carrey is still as successful today as he was back then. The actor has starred in some of Hollywood's biggest movies, such as "Me, Myself & Irene," "Bruce Almighty," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," "Yes Man," "Horton Hears a Who!" and "Dumb and Dumber To." In 2018, Jim took on a starring role as Jeff Piccirillo on the Showtime dramedy series "Kidding." As for his post-Grinch personal life, Jim dated Jenny McCarthy from 2005 to 2010 and from 2012 to 2015 was in an on-off relationship with Irish makeup artist Cathriona White, who killed herself with an intentional drug overdose not long after their final breakup. Circumstances surrounding her tragic death led her family and estranged husband to subject Jim to a wrongful death lawsuit that was dismissed in 2018. The comedy star, who's also made headlines in recent years with his politically charged artwork, became a grandfather in 2010 when his only child, daughter Jane, welcomed a son with her husband, whom she's since divorced.

Taylor Momsen starred as Cindy Lou Who, a 6-year-old Who who helps the Grinch learn the true meaning of Christmas, in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
Taylor Momsen is now in her mid-20s and making music. The former child actress starred on the hit CW show "Gossip Girl" for five years before quitting acting to focus full-time on her rock band, The Pretty Reckless, in 2012. The band has released three albums — "Light Me Up," "Who You Selling For" and "Going to Hell," which landed at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 albums chart. The Pretty Reckless has toured with Evanescence and Fall Out Boy. Taylor is currently recording new music and released a YouTube video featuring her rendition of "This Land is Your Land" in July 2018.
Christine Baranski starred as Martha May Whovier, a Who for whom the Grinch has romantic feelings, in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
Today, Christine Baranski is still enjoying a super-successful career in Hollywood. The actress has appeared in films including "Mamma Mia!" and its sequel plus "The Bounty Hunter," "Into the Woods" and "A Bad Moms Christmas" as well as hit TV shows like "The Big Bang Theory," for which she received two Emmy nominations. Christine has also received critical acclaim for her work as attorney Diane Lockhart on the legal drama series "The Good Wife" and its 2017 spinoff, "The Good Fight." She shares two daughters with her late husband, actor Matthew Cowles. He died from congestive heart failure in 2014.

The actor has starred in super-successful projects such as "Hellboy," the "The Hangover" trilogy and "Arrested Development" and won an Emmy, a Golden Globe and a SAG award for his work on the Amazon series "Transparent." In 2017, he was accused of sexual harassment by a former assistant, an actress and a makeup artist and, as a result, left "Transparent" in early February 2018. In 2019, Jeffrey will star in the comedy film "Magic Camp." The San Francisco native shares three sons and a daughter with wife Kasia, whom he married in 2001. He also has an adult daughter from a previous relationship.

The comedic actress, who left "Saturday Night Live" the year after "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" came out, has appeared in several high-profile films including "Osmosis Jones," "My Boss's Daughter," "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" and the "Hotel Transylvania" film series. She currently stars as Diane on the HBO series "Divorce" alongside Sarah Jessica Parker. Molly married artist Fritz Chesnut in 2004. They share two children, daughter Stella and son Nolan.
T.J. Thyne played Stu Lou Who, Cindy Lou Who's older brother, in 2000's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
T.J. Thyne has established himself as an in-demand actor thanks in part to his role as Dr. Jack Hodgins on the hit FOX show "Bones." In addition to "Bones," T.J. has also appeared in "The O.C.," "Huff," "CSI: NY," "Something's Gotta Give" and "The Human Contract." T.J. has several nieces and nephews but points out in his Instagram bio that he's single.
