Wrestling career 2.0?
Could Dwayne Johnson get back in the WWE ring at 51? In a recent appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," the "Fast & Furious" franchise star revealed he almost wrestled his cousin Roman Reigns earlier this year at WrestleMania 39, but the idea was shelved.
"There's WrestleMania in Philadelphia, I'm saying that that's a potential too, so I'm open," Dwayne said, according to People magazine. "But again, let's figure out what that is because the fans deserve something just incredible and unprecedented. And not only that, I always want to deliver to the locker room, and the boys and the girls back there that are working their a**** off. What can we do that can put them in position to be a part of something that is a new change and era in this world of pro wrestling?" he asked.
Dwayne went on to assure the host he's not concerned about potentially getting hurt if he gets back in the ring. "Me going back to WWE and wrestling a match, it always comes down to the reason why," he said, "and what can we create that's never been done before for the fans."

'50 is the new 30s'
Tyra Banks won't turn 50 until Dec. 4, and that's just fine with her — in fact, she's already telling people she's reached the big 5-0.
"I look in the mirror and I don't feel 50. I think 50 is the new 30s," the supermodel, entrepreneur and author recently told People.
"When I look in the mirror, I don't see it. I have not had age plastic surgery stuff. Not against it. I just haven't had it yet," Tyra continued. "Maybe I'll need a little something something — I am 50 even though I'm not [yet]. But I'm not insecure about it."
With a new modeling campaign for designer Karen Miller and a rumored romance with businessman Louis Bélanger-Martin, the three-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model has plenty of reasons to celebrate as she crosses into a new decade.
But she's also getting creative and using her soon-to-be new age as a secret weapon. "I keep saying I'm 50, even though I'm not, as an excuse," Tyra admitted. "When people ask me [to do something] I say, 'I ain't doing that — I'm 50,'" she quips. "Or, 'I'm just going to tell you what I think, because I'm 50.'"
Money moves
Katy Perry became one of the richest self-made women in America after selling her music catalog to Litmus Music on Sept. 18 — reportedly for $225 million — Forbes reported.
The sale, which includes recording royalties and publishing rights to five albums, "One Of The Boys," "Teenage Dream," "PRISM," "Witness" and "Smile," bumped up Katy's estimated net worth to about $340 million, according to the outlet. Katy's music sale is believed to be among the biggest of the year. In January 2023, Dr. Dre and Justin Bieber, respectively, inked catalog deals for "more than $200 million," per Forbes.
In addition to her solo pop career, Katy's income streams include her work as an "American Idol" judge. Though she missed the cutoff for the outlet's 2023 ranking of the richest self-made women in America, Forbes notes Katy's now "a contender" for 2024.

Rishi Sunak weighs in
Fallout continues this week after comedian Russell Brand was accused of sexually assaulting five women between 2006 and 2013. The claims first went public on Sept. 16, via British TV station Channel 4 and newspaper The Times, which quoted the women who shared their stories but did not name the alleged victims. One of the women said she was 16 and the comic was 30 when he allegedly assaulted her while they were in a relationship. Russell, who was dating and then married to Katy Perry during much of the time in question, has denied the assault claims, telling Channel 4 in a statement the relationships "were absolutely always consensual."
On Sept. 18, Time reported British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak weighed in through his rep, calling the allegations "very serious and concerning," and noting the women making the claims should be "treated seriously and treated with sensitivity." On Sept. 19, Youtube announced it had "suspended monetization" on Russell's channel for violating its "creator responsibility policy." In light of the allegations, the BBC said it's removed some content featuring the star and Russell's book publisher, Bluebird, said it's "[paused] all future publishing with Russell Brand."
Navigating tough times
Gisele Bundchen is opening up about the tools that got her through an extremely difficult few years. On top of the challenges involved in raising two young kids during the pandemic, Gisele navigated a high-profile divorce from former NFL star Tom Brady while looking after her parents as their health declined. She also moved to a new city twice during that time, helping her children adjust to their new surroundings first in Tampa Bay, Fla., after Tom signed with the Buccaneers, then in Miami, where she settled after their divorce was finalized in October 2022. "It's been very tough on my family. It's been a lot — in every area of my life. I feel like whenever it rains, it pours," Gisele, 43, recently told People.
"With all the different twists and turns that life takes, all we can do is the best we can given what happens in our surroundings," she said. For Gisele, that's meant prioritizing a self-care regimen that includes meditation and daily exercise. She also gave up alcohol shortly after turning 40. "I think if I didn't have all the different tools that I have to support me during these times, it would've been very hard. And I think we all can relate to that, because I think we all have gone through our roller coasters of life."
Asked about a viral TikTok video that shows Gisele keeping her cool on a runway as the heel of her shoe breaks off completely in 2000, the model said, "You've just got to pretend like nothing happened and hope that no one noticed." She added: "And I think that's a great metaphor for life, because whenever the curve balls get thrown at you, do you crumble or do you rise? It's a choice, right? You've got to rise."

Post-slap therapy
The public still doesn't know everything Chris Rock went through after Will Smith slapped him onstage at the 2022 Oscars. That's according Chris' close friend, comic Leslie Jones, who tells People the star sought "counseling" with his kids after the incident.
"It made me so infuriated …" says Leslie, who recalls being angry "on so many levels" about what Will did in response to a joke Chris made about his wife's shaved head during the ceremony. "I know Will too … I was like, you I couldn't handle that s*** afterwards. This is the Oscars. The whole world is watching," she continues. After the slap, Will won Best Actor for his performance in "King Richard." Leslie sees his acceptance speech as a missed opportunity to make things right. "He could have still fixed it," she offers. Rather than accept the award, Will could have said, "I can not accept the Oscar right now because that was f****** wrong,'" Leslie muses, calling the incident "humiliating" for the star.
"It really affected him," she says. "People need to understand his daughters, his parents, saw that. He had to go to counseling with his daughters." In the end, Leslie says Chris channeled his response to the ordeal into his standup special, "Selective Outrage," because "that's what comedians do," they avoid going "crazy" by going onstage to "talk about it."
