On Dec. 20, Page Six reported that the pair's 14-year age gap played a role in their breakup. A source also told the New York Post's gossip column that the duo split because Bryan, 40, wants kids and the 54-year-old Grammy winner, who shares 12-year-old twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon, does not.
"He wants to have a family. That's not where she is at," the source said.

It's over for rappers Cardi B and Offset.
Following allegations that Offset was unfaithful — which he's denied — Cardi confirmed in an Instagram Live on Dec. 10 that she's moving on six years after she and the Migos rapper, with whom she shares two kids, secretly married.
Cardi, Page Six reported, said she doesn't think he cheated but "I don't care to find out because I've been single for a minute now," she explained, adding, "I just don't know how to tell the world." Cardi also said she wants a clean slate. "I want to start 2024 fresh, open," she said. "I'm curious for a new life, a new beginning. I'm excited."
Cardi and Offset have faced allegations of infidelity before and briefly separated in 2020 only to reconcile.

After more than two years of dating, it's over for country music star Kacey Musgraves and writer and poet Cole Schafer, Us Weekly confirmed on Nov. 29.
"They weren't seeing eye to eye in terms of where they are in life right now and decided to end things," a source told Us.
A source also told Page Six that the pair broke up "at least a month" earlier and that it was "all the buzz," the New York Post's gossip column wrote, in Nashville, where the exes live.
The former couple's romance was made public in the summer of 2021 about a year after Kacey announced her divorce from singer-songwriter Ruston Kelly.

It's over for famed soccer star Neymar and his girlfriend just a month after they welcomed their first child together.
On Nov. 28, model Bruna Biancardi — who gave birth to their daughter, Mavie, in October — announced their split on her Instagram Story.
"This is a private matter, but as I deal with news, assumptions and jokes every day, I inform you that I am not in a relationship," she wrote, as translated from Portuguese. "We are Mavie's parents, and that is the reason for our bond," she continued, adding that she hopes her confirmation will keep her out of the news moving forward.
She and the athlete took their romance public in 2022, split briefly that summer, then reconciled before announcing her pregnancy in 2023, People magazine reported.

According to TMZ, Eric McCormack's wife of 26 years, Janet Holden, filed for divorce on Nov. 22 — the day before Thanksgiving. She reportedly cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and did not list a date of separation. She's asking for spousal support from the "Will & Grace" actor, with whom she shares one adult son.
The duo first connected on the set of the 1994 "Lonesome Dove" TV series — he starred and she served as an assistant director — and tied the knot in 1997.

A whirlwind romance has come to an end.
According to TMZ, Chris Appleton filed to divorce Lukas Gage on Nov. 13 following just six months of marriage. The hairstylist-to-the-stars reportedly listed their date of separation as Nov. 10, cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and indicated that they signed a prenup before they tied the knot in Las Vegas in an intimate ceremony officiated by his longtime friend and client Kim Kardashian. (A Hulu camera crew captured the ceremony, which was featured on an early November episode of Kim's show "The Kardashians.")
"A source close to the couple tells us this was not an easy decision for Chris to make, but he tried everything he could to make the marriage work and needed to make the best decision for himself moving forward," TMZ reports.
A Deux Moi source, however, painted a very different picture of the breakup, alleging that Chris — who's 40 and more than a decade older than the "Euphoria" and "The White Lotus" actor, 28 — "leaked to TMZ that he was the one who wanted the divorce, when Lukas was the one that ended the relationship." The anonymous insider added that "it is VERY well known amongst their circle of friends that Lukas had been wanting to sever ties due to Chris's alleged controlling tendencies."
The two men went public with their romance in February. Less than two months later, People magazine reported that they'd quietly gotten engaged.

"My So-Called Life" star A.J. Langer, who played Rayanne Graff on the cult-hit '90s series, married attorney Charles Peregrine Courtenay — also known as Lord Courtenay and the son of the Earl of Devon — in 2004. Charles then became the 19th Earl of Devon upon his father's death, making A.J. his countess.
But they didn't get their happily ever after: In October 2023, the earl confirmed their 18-year marriage was over.
"After much care and consideration, Charles Courtenay, the Earl of Devon, and Countess of Devon, Allison Joy Courtenay, have made the decision to separate and to divorce," read a statement issued by Powderham Castle, his ancestral home. "Charlie would like to express his gratitude for his partnership with A.J. and all that they have created together as parents, friends and partners both in Los Angeles and at Powderham. The well-being of their wonderful children is the highest priority, as he and A.J. focus upon co-parenting in the years ahead."
The former couple share two teenage children: Lady Jocelyn Skye Courtenay and Lord Jack Hayden Langer Courtenay.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and "Manzo'd With Children" alum Lauren Manzo — the daughter of OG Bravo star Caroline Manzo — and husband Vito Scalia are divorcing after eight years of marriage and one child together.
"Just want to let you guys know, we're all good, this has been done for a very long time," Lauren said on Instagram on Oct. 24, addressing reports that Vito was ending their marriage. "The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page, this is something that we did together," she continued, adding that she and her ex "love and respect each other" and "continue to move forward as a family."
According to Lauren, "All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy. Her privacy is important to us. We haven't been on TV in seven years, which is why we did not feel the need for some dramatic announcement. And we continue to move forward with love and respect for each other, and we will always be a family, and that's it. It's about our daughter and her privacy because she didn't ask to be on TV — we did. So, we appreciate you guys."
The Sun reported that Vito filed for divorce on Sept. 5, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, and that Lauren was served with divorce papers on Sept. 29.

It's over for "Welcome to Plathville" stars Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath after five years of marriage.
The TLC stars both wrote about their breakup on Instagram on Oct. 27. "Olivia and I have parted ways. It just didn't work between us, though Lord knows we both gave it all we had," Ethan wrote. "It seemed we were constantly pulling each other in opposite directions in life with different goals." He added, "I wish Olivia the best in her future ahead. I care for her deeply and always will."
Olivia shared a longer statement, writing, "Ethan and I have decided to go our separate ways. I have ambivalent memories of us being 18 years old, innocently dreaming of forever but the partner you choose is a reflection of the world you want to live in, and at 18 I didn't know who I was or what kind of life I wanted to create for myself. Seven years later, I've already begun my journey of questioning, deconstructing and rebuilding and I know that is a process that I will continue to prioritize throughout my life."

It's over for Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky. On July 3, People magazine broke the news that the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star and the founder of luxury real estate brokerage had separated after 27 years of marriage. "Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof," a source close to the pair told the magazine, adding that the former couple — who share three daughters (Kyle also has another daughter from her first marriage) — "remain amicable as they figure out what's next for them and their family."
Hours later, the Bravo stars shared a statement on their Instagram accounts. "In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue," they wrote. "However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously." They continued, "There has been no wrongdoing on anyone's part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative."
The last part of the statement could be a nod to rumors concerning the nature of Kyle's relationship with country music singer Morgan Wade, Page Six reported. Kyle has repeatedly insisted they're just very close friends, not lovers.

On Oct. 25, Kyle opened up about the split and their living arrangements on "Watch What Happens Live," telling host Andy Cohen that she initiated the separation. "It originated from me, I'll say," Kyle shared, adding that they still live under the same room, though in different bedrooms. "I let him stay in the primary bedroom 'cause it's very masculine and the upstairs floor's like the glam and there's like, a bed," she said, as reported by Page Six. "And I was like, 'What am I going to do? Put him in a room with flower and pink and velvet? No."

Another long Hollywood marriage is over.
On Oct. 21, Page Six reported that three-time Oscar-winner Meryl Streep and husband Don Gummer, a lauded sculptor with whom she shares four adult children, quietly separated six years ago.
People magazine further confirmed with the actress's rep that the couple had ended the romantic nature of their relationship.
"Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than six years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart," Meryl's rep told the magazine.
She and Don, a Yale-educated artist, married in 1978 six months after they met through her brother. Meryl had recently lost her boyfriend, "The Godfather" franchise actor John Cazale, to lung cancer.

On Oct. 19, Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o revealed in a lengthy Instagram post that her romance with TV host-reporter-producer Selema Masekela was over due to trust issues. The pair first went public with their romance in December 2022.
"There are much more important things going on in the world right now, and my thoughts are with those who are deeply suffering," the "Black Panther" star began her post. "At this moment, it is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust…"
"I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception. Tom Brady and Irina Shayk are no longer dating, TMZ reported on Oct. 21.
The retired NFL quarterback and the Russian model — who reportedly met in May 2023 at billionaire art heir Joe Nahmad and model Madison Headrick's wedding in Sardinia — were first seen out together in July in Los Angeles, where they spent time together at his home there. Dates and hotel hookups in New York City the same month and in London in August followed.
But eventually, TMZ reported, citing sources connected to the former pair, things just "fizzled out," with those sources noting there was "no drama or scandal … it just came to an end," TMZ wrote.
A source shared a similar sentiment with People magazine: "Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her. They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled. … They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time. Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom," the source said.

After more than five years of marriage and one child together, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are going their separate ways.
The "Circles Around This Town" singer filed for divorce in Tennessee's Davidson County on Oct. 2, which was also noted as their date of separation, Taste of Country reported on Oct. 17. Docs show Maren cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
She and the Grammy-nominated songwriter share 3-year-old son Hayes. Court papers indicate Maren is seeking joint custody and for the state to set child support. They also indicate there's a prenup in place.
Maren and Ryan met in Nashville while working as songwriters. They married in 2018.

On Oct. 8, DailyMail.com reported that after 43 years of marriage, "The Incredible Hulk" star Lou Ferrigno's wife, former psychotherapist Carla Green, filed for divorce in September.
In legal documents filed in San Luis Obispo County, California, she alleged that he's been controlling, has cut off her access to their joint finances and has been keeping her physically isolated in an effort to prevent her from divorcing him since she was diagnosed with dementia.
"Lou has and is continuing to assert total control over me by way of physical intimidation, emotional abuse, restricting my movement within our own home, depriving me of access to our estate, and, most concerning to me, trying to make sure that I do not have access to my family, including our own children,'" Carla claims.
She further alleged that the former bodybuilder has flaunted a mistress named Lisa, with whom Carla said Lou "spends most of his time, traveling to his various appearances and flaunting in my face even when he is home."
Carla is also fighting an attempt by Lou to establish a court-ordered conservatorship to control her affairs.
"While his infidelity may not be abuse, when I get upset with him about her being around, he physically intimidates me, by getting into my face and using his much larger size — he will remind everyone that he is the Hulk — compared to my slight stature, to scare and control me into submission," Carla alleges. "While towering over me, he yells at me, claiming horrible things about me and making sure that I understand that I am ruining his life and that he will not care for me."
Despite Carla's dementia diagnosis, her doctor and attorney have said she's consistently and for years expressed a desire to get divorced — she officially filed on Sept. 14 — and has the capacity to understand this decision.

In interviews with People magazine and the "Today" show released on Oct. 11 to promote her new memoir, "Worthy," Jada Pinkett Smith revealed that she and Will Smith have secretly been separated since 2016.
That means that at the time of the infamous 2022 Academy Awards incident that saw Will slap Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about Jada'a shaved head, they'd been separated for six years — and they're still separated now.
Jada further confirmed that they live apart. However, she said, there are no plans to divorce. "We're still figuring it out," Jada told People of the state of their marriage. "We've been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us."

Country music singer Jimmie Allen made two major announcements in April, revealing he and wife Alexis Gale had separated and that they were expecting their third child together amid their split. "After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate," Jimmie wrote on Instagram. "As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year."
Then in October — after their son was born — Jimmie's rep revealed that he and the nurse had quietly reconciled after filing for divorce. The split "was never fully seen through legally," his rep told People magazine on Oct. 4. "They decided to work on things together and are still together," his rep added.
It's a remarkable turn of events considering that shortly after they both filed for divorce, Jimmie' former day-to-day manager filed a civil lawsuit against him for sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking and emotional distress that allegedly occurred between 2020 and 2022. He's denied the claims, insisting it was consensual. He's also countersued her as well as a second woman who in June filed a lawsuit against Jimmie alleging he sexually assaulted her in 2022.
The country star took to Instagram in May with a public mea culpa to his then-pregnant wife. "I want to publicly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my affair. I'm embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That's something that she did not deserve at all," he began, adding, "I also want to apologize to my children for being a poor example of a man and a father. I'm working on becoming a better person that my kids can be proud of. My goal is to be better than the generation before me." He ended his post, "The business takes so much from you. It's full of temptations that can cripple you and ruin everything you've built. I'm ashamed that I wasn't strong enough to withstand them. I will no longer be a victim of my weaknesses. Joshua Jackson's marriage to Jodie Turner-Smith is over after four years and one child.
The "Queen & Slim" actress filed divorce papers in Los Angeles Superior Court, TMZ reported on Oct. 2, noting that she's asking for joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, whom People magazine reported is named Juno Rose Diana Jackson. (The child's name had not previously been publicly disclosed.)
Jodie also asked the court to deny spousal support to both her and the "Dawson's Creek" and "Fatal Attraction" actor, whom she wed in August 2019. The pair reportedly met at music star Usher's birthday party in 2018 and married the following year.

It's over for "Downton Abbey" star Hugh Bonneville and his wife of 25 years.
On Sept. 30, The Sun on Sunday reported that the couple were going their separate ways. "I can confirm that Hugh Bonneville and Lulu Williams have separated," a spokesman for the actor — who played Robert Crawley, the Earl of Grantham, in the "Downton Abbey" movies and TV show and also stars in the "Paddington" movie franchise — told the newspaper.

"The Real Housewives of Potomac" stars Mia Thornton and Gordon Thornton have split after 11 years of marriage.
"Like all marriages, ours has had its ups and downs," Mia told People magazine in a statement on Sept. 29. "At this time, Gordon and I are separated, but my family is my number one priority, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure we are OK. We ask that you respect our privacy and give us the time and space to figure things out."

Actress Marin Hinkle — who most recently starred as Rose Weissman on "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" — is divorcing husband Randall Sommer after 25 years of marriage and one son together.
People magazine reported the news on Sept. 22, noting that in court documents, the actress — who also appeared on the hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men" for 12 seasons — listed their date of separation as "TBD" and asked a judge to "reserve" the issue of spousal support "for future determination" and to keep assets or earnings accumulated before and after the separation as separate property.
"After careful consideration we have decided to end our marriage. We remain caring friends with mutual respect, admiration and love for one another and for our son," the former couple told People in a statement.

On Sept. 18 — a week and a half after actor Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison on two rape convictions — his wife, Bijou Phillips, filed for divorce in California after supporting him through two trials.
The news came just days after sources claimed to multiple outlets that the actress — who's the daughter of the Mamas & the Papas leader John Phillips and actress Genevieve Waite — had no plans to end her 11-year marriage to the "That '70s Show" star, with whom she shares a 9-year-old daughter.
"Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. Her priority remains with her daughter," Bijou's attorney told TMZ, adding, "This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter."
TMZ further reported that Bijou listed their date of separation as "TBD" and is asking for spousal support, attorneys fees and for her legal name to be restored to Bijou Phillips. She's also asking for legal and physical custody of their daughter with visitation for Danny.
On Sept. 22, DailyMail.com reported on what it alleged are the two main reasons behind Bijou's filing.
A source told the outlet the actress still loves Danny and hopes his sentence will be reduced or even reversed. "[But] recently, friends and family have told her to be a mom first and to consider divorce because it really shows her daughter that eventually people need to be held accountable for what they do, even if it is someone they love," the source revealed.
On top of that, "Bijou also is doing it to protect her assets and protect her future," the source explained. "She doesn't want to lose money and land and housing over a future civil lawsuit against Danny. She is looking to protect her future and that is one big reason she has pursued divorce."
But despite choosing to end their marriage, "Bijou will never say anything negative about Danny's parenting skills," the source added. "He is incredible in that department."

Rapper Jeezy and "The Real" host Jeannie Mai Jenkins are divorcing after two years of marriage and one child, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Sept. 15.
The music star filed for divorce on Sept. 14 in Atlanta. Court docs reveal the former couple had a prenup in place and that the rapper wants joint legal custody of their toddler daughter.
In the wake of the news, a source weighed in on the reasons for the split, telling "Entertainment Tonight" that the music star and the former "The Real" co-host weren't on the same page when it came to "certain family values and expectations." Added the source, "They had different views, and each felt like their needs weren't being completely met."

It's a split his fans didn't see coming.
After 27 years of marriage, it's over for Hugh Jackman, 54, and Deborra-lee Furness, 67.
The Australian stars announced the sad news on Sept. 15, telling People magazine in a statement: "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.
"Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."
They signed their remarks "Deb and Hugh Jackman" and further noted that "This is the sole statement either of us will make."
However, the following day, the Oscar-nominated actor told a TMZ videographer in New York City, "It's a difficult time. I appreciate your thoughts, thank you."
Custody will not be an issue in their divorce as both of their children — Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18 — are now adults.

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness's split was "a long time coming," adding, "it happened a while ago. Friends and family knew about it."
The source believes problems were most likely brewing even before the Tony Award winner returned to Broadway in February 2022 to star in "The Music Man" because "Deb wasn't at rehearsals very much" and "was even spotted snoozing during some of them" that she did attend.
The source further shared there was no third party involved and that the longtime loves had turned into "roommates."
An insider who spoke to DailyMail.com said something similar, explaining of Hugh and Deb, "They are forever linked, forever together with the children they have. But after the past few years, the love they had for each other turned more into a friendship which got broken during COVID, as the lockdown didn't help their marriage at all and really put a strain on their relationship."
According to DailyMail.com's insider, the stars "worked on it and couldn't get it back. The [current actors and writers] strikes haven't helped one bit [either], it got them in the same predicament as COVID did, to where they were just kicking the tires, and Hugh found it all to not have the same magic as they once had." Ultimately, the pair decided the "best option," the insider explained, was to separate as friends. "They will never talk negatively about each other, just time has passed for them and they are now accepting that fate."

On July 17 — a day after Ariana Grande was spotted at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London without her wedding ring — TMZ reported that it was over for the Grammy winner and her husband of two years. Ariana and Dalton Gomez, a luxury real estate agent, quietly separated at the start of the year and were "heading toward divorce," a source told the webloid.
On Sept. 18, both Ariana and Dalton formally filed for divorce in a coordinated effort, TMZ reported, noting the former couple, who have a prenup, listed Feb. 20 as their date of separation. According to the webloid's reporting, "everything was worked out before going to the courthouse" and "Ariana will cut Dalton a check, and that will be that."
People magazine reported that distance was behind the split. "She was happy in Los Angeles for a couple of years. She wanted to make a life there with Dalton," an insider said. "He is super focused on his career and needs to live in Los Angeles. It's definitely been an issue for them. Dalton's career is demanding and he can't leave Los Angeles often. So when [Ariana] started filming 'Wicked' in England [in 2022], they were in for a long-distance marriage." However, the insider insisted, "Ari has nothing but kind words to say about Dalton. During their marriage, he was her No. 1 fan."
Days after the split news broke, it was revealed that Ariana had already moved on… with married "Wicked" co-star Ethan Slater. They reportedly met on set and started dating a few months before the Ariana-Dalton split was made public, according to TMZ. Ethan reportedly separated from his wife of five years, Lilly Jay, shortly before he starting seeing Ariana (more on this next).

On July 26 — days after his romance with "Wicked" co-star Ariana Grande was made public — Broadway star Ethan Slater filed to divorce his high school sweetheart and wife of four years, Lilly Jay, in New York.
After multiple reports surfaced speculating about whether Ethan was unfaithful and questioning the timing of his romance with Ariana — including many claiming Lilly was blindsided by the news — Lilly briefly spoke to a few outlets. "[Ariana's] the story really. Not a girl's girl," Lilly told Page Six. "My family is just collateral damage." She further told TMZ she's now "focused on my son [who was born in 2022] and doing my best to navigate a spotlight I have never wanted or experienced before," adding that she wanted to set the record straight after "watching with horror as stories are published speaking to my experience." Lilly continued, "I am asking for privacy and respect as an individual who is not in the entertainment industry and as a mom. I ask to be left alone to rebuild my life and raise the beautiful boy I gave birth to last year."
On July 27, DailyMail.com reported that, according to an insider close to the former couple, "Lilly hung out with Ethan and Ariana so many times" while visiting him in London when he started shooting "Wicked." "Entertainment Tonight" reported on Aug. 31 that the Bravo couple broke up and ended their engagement less than three months before their wedding date. (They were planning to tie the knot in November.)
Carl made the call — and cameras were rolling when he dumped Lindsay just two weeks after her bridal shower: "Carl told Lindsay he couldn't move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of 'Summer House,'" a source told "ET."
On Sept. 14, Lindsay broke her silence about the breakup, writing on Instagram that she was grateful to her fans "for allowing me the space and time to process my emotions, heal, and grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for 8 years." And on Sept. 5, People magazine confirmed that Joe filed for divorce in Miami, with his filing stating that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." According to divorce documents, Joe and Sophie have a prenup in place that addresses their finances, though a judge will have to weigh in on custody of their two daughters.
On Sept. 6, the former couple shared a joint statement on Instagram that read, "Statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
Before Joe filed, sources told TMZ that the young couple — who married in 2019 — had been having "serious problems" for the previous six months.

It's over — again — for former Bravo star Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her retired NFL player husband, Kroy Biermann, after 11 years of marriage and four children together.
On Aug. 24 — almost seven weeks after Kim filed to have her May divorce petition dismissed after she and Kroy decided they wanted to try "to make it work for the kids," a source told People magazine in July — the former athlete filed fresh divorce papers indicating that their reconciliation had failed.
Court docs show he's asking for sole legal and sole physical custody of their four children, as well as child support and alimony plus exclusive use of their marital residence, TMZ reported.

Kroy Biermann filed for divorce on Aug. 24 after his reconciliation with Kim Zolciak-Biermann failed.
Some history: Back on May 8, TMZ confirmed that the former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star filed for divorce because her marriage was "irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation." She listed April 30 as their date of separation and asked the court for spousal support and sole physical custody of their four kids, with visitation for Kroy.
TMZ also obtained Kroy's initial divorce petition, which further indicated things were nasty: He was asking for sole legal and physical custody as well as possession of their Alpharetta, Georgia, home — which went into foreclosure in February — and for Kim to vacate the property. He also wanted her to maintain all financial documents including income records, tax records, expense records and more, which TMZ reported suggested a deep conflict over who's responsible for their financial problems.
Those money issues are significant: TMZ broke the news that Kim and Kroy owe the IRS $1.1M in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties from 2013, 2017 and 2018 as well as another $15K to the state of Georgia for unpaid taxes from 2018.
After the initial split news made headlines, a friend of Kim's told People magazine "the money [problem] has been a huge issue." Added the pal, "The million-dollar tax [payment] was just way too much pressure on them."
A different source told People that there were other issues as well: "There's no cheating on either side. The money has a lot to do with the split, but there were other factors [too]," the source said.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Alexis Bellino and fiancé Andy Bohn have split and ended their engagement, Page Six and People magazine confirmed on Sept. 5. The breakup comes almost three years after he proposed in December 2020 nearly two years after they went public as a couple.
"Drew and I have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple," Alexis told People in a statement. "They continue to run their nonprofit together and remain good friends." The actress was previously married to former co-star Chad Michael Murray for five months in 2005.

Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef are divorcing after six years of marriage. The Puerto Rican Grammy winner and the Syrian-Swedish artist announced the news in a joint statement on July 6. "We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years," they told People magazine. "Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on peace and friendship to continue the joint upbringing of our children, preserving the respect and love we have for each other."
On Aug. 31, TMZ reported that they'd reached a divorce settlement: Court documents showed the former couple entered into an uncontested written agreement to divide their property and marriage rights, including support payments. Details of the settlement, however, have not been publicly disclosed.
DailyMail.com published a report explaining more about why the men are divorcing. "Like many couples, Ricky and Jwan had an open relationship for most of their marriage and this worked for them, until it didn't," a source — described as a close friend of the singer — claimed. "That being said, neither of them fell in love with someone else. … In the end they decided that it was best for them, their well being and for their kids if they end it amicably." The source added, "Ultimately, they fell out of love. Their passion turned into a friendship and the sex became barely non-existent."
Another alleged issue? The source claimed there was a "huge imbalance" between the men despite Ricky "always telling [Jwan that] was not the case … [but] you cannot really hold a candle to a husband who is a world famous millionaire worth over $100 million. Like in many marriages, Ricky was essentially the breadwinner while Jwan took care of the home and the kids while [Ricky] was busy doing what Ricky does. [However this did] also work well for them because they each played an important role." On top of that, the source said, "The fact that Jwan is 13 years younger didn't help. They were a generation apart and from different cultures."
According to DailyMail.com's source, Ricky and Jwan have a "tight prenup" in place. "Ricky will likely keep the house but Jwan will remain an important part of his life, and their kids' lives, moving forward. He will be taken care of forever and will not have to worry about his finances, at least until their children are all adults. Ricky knows the value of him being a father in their kids' lives," the source said.

Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari separated after 14 months of marriage, TMZ reported on Aug. 16. According to sources who spoke to the webloid, the couple — who started dating in 2016 after Sam, a model and fitness trainer who also acts, appeared in one of the pop star's music videos — got into a massive argument a week before the split news broke. Sam allegedly confronted Britney over rumors she'd cheated on him. TMZ's sources said Sam has moved out and is now living on his own. "It's only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce," said a source. That happened later the same day: "Entertainment Tonight" reported that Sam cited "irreconcilable differences" in his filing, cited July 28 as their date of separation and asked the court to award him spousal support and attorneys fees.
TMZ reported that Britney and Sam have a prenup that protects the singer's assets, but the webloid reported that "the likely end to the marriage will be a check from Britney to Sam that will settle things, at least financially." Divorce docs also hint at a potential prenup challenge, with Sam's attorney noting the actor-trainer "has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party" and that "there are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to [Sam] at this time."
According to TMZ, though Sam has publicly defended Britney from her critics while she was under a conservatorship led by her father and after it ended in late 2021, he's privately been frustrated with her allegedly erratic behavior.

Former child star Corey Feldman and his third wife, Courtney Anne Mitchell, have separated after nearly seven years of marriage, the "Stand By Me" and "The Goonies" actor announced on Aug. 7. On March 24 — two days before their 12th wedding anniversary — Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and former talent agent Jim Toth announced that their marriage was over. On Aug. 3, a final divorce decree was submitted in the Circuit Court of Davidson County, Tennessee, confirming that the former couple — who had a prenup — had signed a marital dissolution agreement and agreed to a parenting plan for their 10-year-old son. Page Six later shared more details: Reese and Jim will share equal custody of their son and split his expenses 50-50. They agreed they will not pay each other spousal or child support because they each earn more than $100K a year. They further asked the court to excuse them from taking a parenting seminar because they were able to come to an amicable agreement and have been "effectively co-parenting" their son since they split in March. On top of that, Reese and Jim agreed to split up their art, furniture and other household items and keep their own cars and bank accounts; their properties have already been divided according to various trusts. They also signed an NDA ensuring their business and personal affairs will remain private.

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and wife Sophie Gregoire have separated after 18 years of marriage and three children together, they announced on Aug. 2. "Hi everyone, Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate," the political leader wrote on Instagram, adding, "As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build. TMZ reported that the legal documents confirmed he and Sofia have a prenup allowing for each to keep the assets they accumulated during their marriage. During an interview with People magazine that debuted online on Jan. 11, Shannon Beador revealed that her boyfriend of three and a half years, John Janssen, broke up with her in late November 2022 — a week after she wrapped shooting season 17 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." She thought they were "in a great place" when he suddenly "blindsided" her with the breakup: "I've never loved anyone more in my life. I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I wanted it to work out. I've never loved anyone like I've loved John. But clearly, he didn't feel the same way," she said. John, meanwhile, told People that ending the relationship was "super hard" for him: "I love Shannon very much. I have loved her more deeply than any woman in my life. … We have a connection that's unlike anything I've ever had. And I know that for as long as I live, I'll never meet anyone like her again. But that doesn't mean we're right for each other for the rest of our lives," he said, calling the decision to go their separate ways "the right thing for the both of us."

On the Jan. 8 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star Ashley Darby revealed that she and Luke Gulbranson went their separate ways after they spent the holidays together. "Luke and I are not romantically involved anymore," she said, adding that issues with her ex-husband, Michael Darby, "affected" her relationship with the "Summer House" star, whom she described as "a trooper." Ashley and Luke got serious fast after they first connected at BravoCon in October 2022. "I met his whole family. They were amazing. I fell in love with them — [they're] so great," she gushed. When host Andy Cohen suggested "maybe it went a little too fast," the mother of two fired back, "You'll have to talk to Luke about that."

On Jan. 2, Page Six broke the news that, according to a source, Drake Bell and his wife of four years, Janet Von Schmeling, had separated after she "had enough" of his bad behavior and moved back to Florida with their young son. A People magazine source later confirmed that the model-actress left the former Nickelodeon child star "a few months" earlier. (Both People and Page Six reported that in the wake of the breakup, Drake sought treatment for substance abuse issues. His run-ins with the law — including two DUIs — have been well documented over the years.)

On the Jan. 8 episode of her "Intimate Knowledge" podcast, Meghan King revealed that she's no longer seeing the mystery man she codenamed Kenny late last year. "[He] played me like a fiddle and I'm not happy about it," she said, explaining that she found out from "random people" on Instagram that Kenny "had a girlfriend the whole time" they were together. Initially, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum didn't believe the rumors about Kenny, but she broke up with him anyway in December when she "had this realization that this is not going to work between us." Two weeks later, Kenny's "devastated" girlfriend contacted her directly to reveal that they were together after he spent Thanksgiving with Meghan and her family. The mother of three went on to say that there were "signs looking back" that Kenny was shady, but she "didn't really like him enough to care to look at these signs."

On Jan. 9, Page Six broke the news that Bachelor Nation's Corinne Olympios — who competed for Nick Viall's heart on season 21 of "The Bachelor" in 2017 — had split from her boyfriend of nearly a year, music manager Jerry Morris. "They were both very busy with their own careers," a source said, adding that the duo also struggled with "trust issues that were weighing heavily on their relationship." Said the source, "There seemed to be a lot of factors that played into [the breakup], but Corinne is doing great and excited to move onto the next chapter."
