Authorities get involved
Update: Bam Margera has been released from a mental health facility and he's headed straight to a rehab center owned by former Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom. TMZ said Lamar greeted the prankster upon his release on Wednesday, June 7. According to the report, Bam is now in detox at one of Lamar's treatment facilities. He will then head to rehab at one of the three Odom Wellness Treatment Centers. Bam, the report says, is motivated to get clean so that he can spend time with his son, Phoenix, who he hasn't seen in two months.
Bam had been placed on a psychiatric hold at a Los Angeles mental health facility after authorities felt that he was a danger to himself and others. On Sunday, June 4, Bam's brother, Jess, posted a desperate tweet and asked if anyone had seen the former MTV star. TMZ said Bam had been sending suicidal messages to his family. Eventually, police tracked Bam down at a Trejo's Tacos in Los Angeles. During a conversation with Bam, authorities said the one-time reality star's speech and behavior were erratic. Taking everything into account, including the disturbing text messages he'd been sending, Bam was placed on a 5150 hold and taken to a mental health facility. He could legally be held for 72 hours, and he was.

Family drama
The 13-year-old daughter of "Fantastic Four" star Ioan Gruffudd has filed for a restraining order against him. The Daily Mail reported that Ella Evans applied for a temporary restraining order against Ioan and for civil harassment protection from his girlfriend, actress Bianca Wallace. The case is filed under "domestic violence protection." Reports claim that the court matter comes after an "incident" at the "Fantastic Four" actor's home, but it's not known what actually occurred. Ioan shares Ella and 9-year-old Elsie with his ex-wife, Alice Evans. The filing is just the latest in a long string of bad blood involving the family — Alice once claimed she was "mentally tortured" while accusing her then-husband of having a three-year affair. Just last year, Ioan, who had a role in "Titanic," was granted Ioan a three-year restraining order against his ex, as well. Meanwhile, the two have been engulfed in a custody battle over their children.

Mortgaging the house
Kevin Costner is betting the house on his upcoming movie series "Horizon: An American Saga." "I've mortgaged 10 acres on the water in Santa Barbara where I was going to build my last house," the "Yellowstone" star told Deadline of the pristine California property. "But I did it without a thought. It has thrown my accountant into a f****** conniption fit. But it's my life, and I believe in the idea and the story." "Horizon" will span four movies, and it's a project Kevin has been trying to get financed for decades. It's estimated that the franchise will cost $100 million. The plot of land being mortgaged is believed to be worth $145 million. "At the end of the day, I'm a storyteller, and I went ahead and put my own money into it," the Oscar winner said. When asked why he chose to risk his own money, Kevin said, "I'm not a very good businessman, so, scratch your head, if you will. I don't know why, but I have not let go of this one. I've pushed it into the middle of the table three times in my career and didn't blink."

Who you?
Mick Jagger didn't exactly have Britney Spears under his thumb after the two first met in 2001… In fact, the pop star had no idea who the Rolling Stones frontman even was. Britney and Mick first crossed paths at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City. On Sunday, June 4, Brit shared a photo of the moment on her Instagram. She also confessed: "I had no idea who I was talking to." That particular evening was rather notable for Brit, as she performed "I'm a Slave 4 U," which included her holding a live snake and being in a cage with a tiger. It's often thought of as Britney's most iconic live performance. The "Toxic" singer reflected on her meeting with Mick several years ago, as well. "Geez … this is me before my VMAs performance with @MickJagger 20 years ago!!!!" she wrote on Instagram in 2021. "This is one my my favorite dresses I've ever worn and it's simple black lace !!!!" At the time, she recalled "feeling kinda out of body with nerves." She added, "I mean … I was in a cage with a live tiger!!!!! I will never forget the moment before I went in the cage!!!!"
A Swiftie safe space
Taylor Swift is celebrating pride month with a message about inclusion. During her concert in Chicago over the weekend, the pop star declared that everyone — regardless of race, gender or sexual identity — is welcome at her shows. Speaking specifically about the LGBTQ+ community, she said, "They are loving who they want to love, they are identifying how they identify, and allies who get to support them in and celebrate them in that. This is a safe space for you. This is a celebratory space for you. And one of the things that makes me feel so prideful is getting to be with you, and watching you interact with each other, and being so loving, and so thoughtful, and so caring." Taylor went on to detail legislation that's targeting the community in certain states. "We can't talk about Pride without talking about pain. Right now and recently there have been so many harmful pieces of legislation that have put people in the LGBTQ+ and queer community at risk. It's painful for everyone, every ally, every loved one, every person in these communities," she said. "We can support as much as we want during Pride Month, but if we're not doing our research on these elected officials — Are they advocates? Are they allies? Are they protectors of equality? Do I want to vote for them?"
Twinning… with herself
Chrissy Teigen was "spiraling" after an "insane" weekend that had her believing she had an identical twin. The model paid for an upgraded version of 23andMe and was stunned to see "identical twin" listed in the results. Chrissy quickly called her dad to find out what he remembers from the delivery room all those decades ago. "He starts laughing and saying, 'No, I was there. There were not two of you.' I'm like, 'Are you sure you were there?'" she pressed. Chrissy then called her sister, Tina Teigen, in continuing to solve the mystery. Tina, Chrissy said, let out a "gasp" which led the "Lip Sync Battle" host to believe she did, indeed, have a twin. "At this point, I'm making excuses for my whole life," Chrissy quipped on Instagram. "This is why I'm co-dependent, because my twin was ripped away from me. I've always felt something missing, and this is why I have addiction issues." Tina, though, reminded Chrissy about a show she participated in that never aired. The show centered on celebrity's ancestry. "They had us take DNA tests, and they put it under secret names so the world couldn't tell," Chrissy said before admitting, "My identical twin was myself. I was matching myself."
