Tori Spelling claims Andy Cohen dismissed her interest in joining 'RHOBH'
Tori Spelling says Andy Cohen nixed her would-be future as a cast member on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The "Beverly Hills 90210" alum recounted the story to Bethenny Frankel in a recent appearance on Bethenny's "ReWives …" podcast. "There was always speculation I was going to be on the show," she recalled (via ET). "It would be like, 'Tori Spelling in talks,' and I'd be like, 'What are these talks?' They've never even called my agent." It wasn't until she learned her friend and former "90210" costar, Jennie Garth, was invited to join the "Real Housewives" cast that Tori voiced her interest. "When Jennie said, 'Oh yeah, they offered it to me one year,' I was like, 'OK.' I don't have any ego at all, and I've been beaten down for years, but I've got to say, I was kind of an OG Beverly Hills girl," said Tori, who appeared as an occasional guest on "RHOBC" for years. Finally, she broached the subject with Andy on "What What Happens Live." "I say something to Andy because I couldn't hold it in. I was like, 'I'm just going to make a super passive-aggressive comment about it,'" Tori recalled. She did just that — but was surprised by Andy's response. According to Tori, he told her, "That just doesn't make sense, I would never think of you for that show. I just don't see the connection." Tori, for her part, didn't see how Andy could have missed the connection. "I was like, 'What?'" she recalled. "I said, 'I'm friends with every single person on the show.' So who knows?" she added. "He'll hear about this."

Teresa Giudice has some prison-related words of wisdom for fellow reality stars, Todd and Julie Chrisley, before the "Chrisley Knows Best" alums begin their sentences for fraud and tax evasion next month. Based on what helped her survive her own 11 months behind bars, Teresa told TMZ this week that the pair should "stand strong for their family and manifest while being in prison what they want when they come out." She also emphasized the importance of being "strong for their children." Todd and Julie — who share three kids, plus Todd's two children from his previous marriage — are set to report to separate Florida penitentiaries on Jan.17, 20203, to serve their respective 12 and 7 year sentences. After Teresa and her then-husband Joe Giudice were convicted of fraud, Teresa served 11 months of her 15-month sentence in 2015, followed by Joe, who spent 41 months behind bars. The former couple share four daughters. "It's going to be very hard, but they have to make the best of it," "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star told TMZ. "They have to stay connected to their children and make it work." Teresa noted that having her kids come see her on a weekly basis helped maintain the family's connection. "The thing is my children were young … but based on their schedule, at least, go once a month," she suggested. Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, were found guilty in June of a $30 million bank fraud conspiracy, as well as tax evasion and submitting false documents to banks to get loans.

Adele serenades boyfriend Rich Paul during Vegas residency
In case you were wondering, Adele is still very much head over heels for her boyfriend, Rich Paul. She proved that fact from the stage during one of her Las Vegas residency performances over the weekend, when she stopped to mark her beau's recent birthday. A fan caught the sweet moment on camera and shared the clip on Twitter. "I love you more than life itself," Adele tells Rich, looking out into the crowd. "Can we wish you a happy birthday?" she asks as the crowd roars. From there, she launches into "Happy Birthday" as the audience sings along, then cheers again. With a smile and a mischievous laugh, the singer then spins around and gets back to her show. Adele, 34, and Rich, 41, confirmed their romance last year. "I've never been in love like this," the singer told Elle a 2022 interview. "I'm obsessed with him." Though she dismissed engagement rumors about the two, she said they "might as well be" married, given the intensity of their love. She also said that looking ahead, she "definitely" wants to have "more kids." Adele shares 9-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.

Britney Spears asks her estranged mom if they can 'have coffee and talk'
Britney Spears reached out to her estranged mom, Lynne Spears, on Instagram this week, extending an invitation to meet up … that may or may not have been pure sarcasm. In the first of a series of cropped shower selfies, Brit said she was in Mexico, adding, "Mom and Dad … I crossed the border and I made it!" in the caption. From there, she switched gears to reference an apparent "no caffeine" rule from the 13-plus years she spent under a conservatorship. "After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I'm treated as an equal … let's have coffee and talk about it !!!" the singer wrote. Comments were turned off on the Tuesday (Dec. 20) post. Back in June, Britney and Lynne shared an Instagram exchange in the comments of a post in which the singer accused her mother of "abuse." The allegation prompted Lynne to "apologize for anything and everything that's hurt" Britney and beg her to unblock her so they could "speak in person." According to Page Six, Britney also accused Lynne of hiding coffee from her "every morning," presumably during her conservatorship. In response to Lynne's plea, Britney suggested, "Mom take your apology and go f*** yourself !!!" Britney's long-running conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, less than a month before the singer's 40th birthday.

Justin Bieber in talks to sell music catalog rights for $200M
Justin Bieber could soon close on a deal to sell his publishing and his entire recorded music catalog for nearly $200 million. That's according to The Wall Street Journal, which reports the singer, 28, is in talks about the sale with Hipgnosis Songs Capital, the company that bought rights to Justin Timberlake's song catalog earlier this year. If WSJ's sources are on track, however, Justin's deal with the investment and song management company could rake in nearly twice as much cash as JT's reported $100 million sale. It would also reportedly mark the largest-ever acquisition for Hipgnosis. Back catalogs have grown in value with the advent of streaming services like Spotfify, experts say, inspiring artists like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Nicks to ink major music catalog sales in recent years.
Shania Twain, 57, talks 'embracing' her 'menopausal body'
At 57, Shania Twain is ready to embrace her body, something the singer says she should have been doing for decades. The artwork for Shania's latest single, "Waking Up Dreaming," features a sultry photo of the country star in a white cowboy hat, white skirt, pink and white stiletto boots — and basically nothing else. "This is me expressing my truth. I'm comfortable in my own skin, and this is the way I am sharing that confidence," she recently told People for a new cover story. "I think the best fashion is confidence, and whatever you wear — if you're wearing it with that, it's fashionable. I am a woman in my late 50s, and I don't need to hide behind the clothes," she explained, adding that posing for the photos felt great. "I was just so unashamed of my new body, you know, as a woman that is well into my menopause. … It's really liberating." Shania recalled covering up or "dressing like a boy" as a teen because her father made her "feel self-conscious." "I didn't feel good about becoming a woman," she admitted. As she got older, she faced a "different pressure" to cover up, sparked by her body becoming less firm than it had been. "I hit this wall and was like, 'Whoa, my confidence is regressing. … Why am I allowing this? F*** that,'" Shania explained. "I am not regressing. I am embracing my body as it changes, as I should have from my childhood to my teens, as I should be from my taut, 20s and 30-year-old self, to my menopausal body. I'm not going to be shy about it. I want to be courageous about it, and I want to share that courage in the artwork that I am directing." Added the star: "I'm feeling more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever felt before."

Dolly Parton first met Carl Deal in a laundromat shortly after she arrived in Nashville. They fell for each other fast — and stayed that way. Now, the music icon is opening up about the secret to her 56 years of wedded bliss. "I like it when people say, 'How did it last so long?'" Dolly tells ET in a December 2022 interview. "You know, there's a lot to be said about that. So we're not in each other's face all the time," she explains. "He's not in the business, so we have different interests, but yet we have the things we love to do together. So it was meant to be, I think. He was the one I was supposed to have and and vice versa." It apparently hasn't hurt that shared laughter comes easily for Dolly and Carl, who "both have a warped sense of humor," according to Dolly. "I think humor, honestly, is one of the best things when you're married like that," she adds. "Even if you have a problem, if you have a great sense of humor, if you say something you can't take back [you] usually have some crazy way of getting out of it."
