Lawsuit over
Tiger Woods' ex has dropped the $30 million lawsuit she filed after the golfer pulled the plug on their romance and booted her from his Florida mansion, The New York Post reported. Back in March, Erica Herman filed legal documents to release her from a nondisclosure agreement she signed when she started dating Tiger in the summer of 2017. Also in March, Erica sued Tiger for $30M claiming she performed "valuable services" for the golf icon in exchange for living rent-free in the home as his partner. Erica claimed she and Tiger made a verbal agreement that would allow her to continue living on the property for five years in the event of a breakup. Nothing was ever in writing, she admitted. In Erica's mind, $30 million was the "reasonable rental value" of Tiger's house for the five remaining years on their alleged oral agreement. A lawyer for Tiger's trust — the titleholder of the house — claims Erica "responded to the breakup by filing this lawsuit," which broke the terms of her NDA. His team also labeled her a "jilted ex-girlfriend."

Although "This Is Us" was one of the top shows for several years, lead actress Mandy Moore is making pennies from streaming residuals. While picketing outside Disney in Burbank, Calif., as part of the SAG-AFTRA strike, the singer-turned-actress told The Hollywood Reporter she received "very tiny, like 81-cent checks" from the streaming residuals for the NBC series, which was acquired by Hulu in 2017. "I was talking with my business manager who said he's received a residual for a penny and two pennies," said Mandy, who starred on "This Is Us" from 2016 to 2022. She added, "The residual issue is a huge issue. We're in incredibly fortunate positions as working actors having been on shows that found tremendous success in one way or another … but many actors in our position for years before us were able to live off of residuals or at least pay their bills."

House raided
The unsolved Tupac Shakur murder has some new developments. On Monday, July 17, Las Vegas-area police searched a home in connection with the killing. The rapper was gunned down and murdered in September 1996 while riding in a car with Death Row Records founder Suge Knight just one block from the Las Vegas Strip. Earlier that night, the "All Eyez On Me" rapper got into a fight at MGM Grand with known gang member Orlando Anderson. The Las Vegas home that police descended on this week belongs to a woman named Paula Clemon, who TMZ reports is married to Keefe D, a gang member who claims he was in the car with Tupac's gunman (he says it was Orlando, who happens to be his nephew.) Orlando was later killed in a shootout in 1998. Cops are not saying what they recovered from the Vegas home. Still, Tupac's family isn't getting excited about the raid. "I'm really not impressed with this late in the game effort. Though I appreciate it, it's late in the game," Tupac's stepbrother Mopreme told TMZ. "Las Vegas nor New York have done any significant investigation so far that we can see … so everyone stay tuned, let's see what happens. I'm surprised like everyone else." A rep for the late rapper's sister said, "We are learning about the case the same way you are and have nothing to say."
Money matters
Kim Kardashian's clothing line Skims is worth a pretty penny. The New York Times said her company is now worth $4 billion. The value of the shapewear line was steadily increased year over year. In 2021, Skims, a privately held company, had a $1.6 billion evaluation. Last year, it was valued at $3.2 billion. It's been quite a ride for Skims of late, particularly after a woman claimed the shapewear saved her life during a New Year's Eve shooting. "The night I got shot, under my dress, I was wearing a SKIMS shaping bodysuit," the woman, who was shot four times, said in a TikTok video. "It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out. I recommend it. I'm definitely gonna buy some more. I mean, I should wear it every day. It's like body armor for women." She added, "Call it fate or Jesus, but imma call it Kim." The reality TV star saw the video and reposted it. "Wowww," she wrote alongside it with the praying hands emoji.
Medical problem
Medics rushed to the Saint-Tropez home of former sex symbol Brigitte Bardot on Wednesday, July 19, as she suffered from breathing issues. "It was around 9 a.m. when Brigitte had trouble breathing," her husband, Bernard d'Ormale, told local outlet Var-matin. "[Her breathing] was stronger than usual but she did not lose consciousness. Let's call it a moment of respiratory distraction." The former model and "Viva Maria!" actress, 88, was put on oxygen until her breathing evened out. "Like all people of a certain age, she can no longer bear the heat," Bernard said. "It happens at 88 years old. She must not make useless efforts."
Problems?
Speculation is mounting that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are having issues, but a source close to the duo says nothing could be further from the truth. A Radar Online report says the two are "taking time apart" to heal and rebuild their bond. "They're trying to figure out what hit them. Harry doesn't fit in Meghan's tacky Tinseltown world," a source said, adding that Harry is trying to "find himself." However, a pal told Page Six, "It's not true. It's literally made up." Back in 2020, the couple stepped away as senior members of the royal family and ended up moving to Montecito, Calif. Since then, Harry's relationship with his family has been severely strained, and the duo's Spotify podcast, "Archetypes," was not given a second season. The Spotify failure was alleged a "game-changer" in their relationship, Radar's source said.
